This one tells the stories of the people of LGBTQA+ comunity and helps everyone in this crazy world we live in today understand them a bit better.

It's a small but important step in making their voices be heard and supported today in the society full of misunderstanding and prejudice

I love these stories! The illustrations and layout are beautifully done. I enjoyed that each person's birthdate and location was included. It made it feel like inclusion and community was everywhere! I also appreciated that some pages have QR codes to learn more about the individual.

Oh em gee. Rebel Girls, you! You did it. This book actually made me cry.
This little book made my little queer heart so happy and now I want to go and shout from all the rooftops for everyone, everyone, and anyone in the community to go and get it for their kids. For themselves. For anyone. For everyone. For every LGBTQ family out there. For every ally family. For everyone.
This book is beautiful on so many levels, both the looks and the content. The illustrations are just perfect. The text is equally perfect, if not even more so.
The people who are behind the Rebel Girls books are the masters of telling other people’s stories in such a loving and respectful way, of telling about every story in a breathtakingly beautiful way.
This book is power. This is what power looks like. This is what love and acceptance look like. This is everything, literally everything.

My house is full of Rebel Girls fans and these books have sparked a lot of conversation. Rebel Girls Celebrate Pride is an excellent addition, with the classic 1-page story and the bright illustrations. This collection was well done, showcasing amazing people and inspirational stories. These pages are so important and it was really eye-opening and interesting to read tales from the LGBTQIA+ community. I am glad books like this exist for my children.
The additional pages in the back that let you reflect upon yourself and provide additional terms and ways to keep celebrating are also great. And I thought it was an important touch that the images were done by females and nonbinary artists from around the world!

An excellent addition to the Rebel Girls series. It’s great to see the trans women activists for LGBT+ rights in the US, Marsha P Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, included in this volume as well as seeing asexuality represented.

What a wonderful book about women and non binary peoples just living their lives and doing their fantastic jobs while being queer.

Very light writing and accessible for the young ones.

I started reading the Rebel Girls series with my kids back when it was a Kickstarter project, so definitely reading this as a long-time fan. Going in, I was afraid this book would feel repetitive to the other collections, but I was pleasantly surprised.

One thing I appreciate about this series is their ability to mix together well-known individuals as well as activists who have interesting or exciting things. The book can really serve as an inspiration to kids, showing them that they don't have to become celebrities to make change.

The only thing I would have liked to see is some more historic figures in the book, such as Anne Lister, to show that queer identities have always existed. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be picking it up for my kids when it comes out.

I just really love these books and the stories they bring to young children, especially girls. As a kid I would have absolutely loved these and I really liked how this one gave stories of different queer people within different spaces.

This was a wonderful book! And I wish works like this were more wildly available for students.

The segment at the end on X made me tear up, I didn’t expect it. I’m a teacher in Florida and I can remember exactly where I was when I heard about Parkland… I was a high school student. I remember our 17 minutes of silence. I remember crying.

Books like this are more important than the legislators trying to ban them will ever know, or maybe they do know how important they are… maybe that’s why.

It was well written, informative, diverse, and beautiful. I loved all the different art styles included for the portraits!

New favorite from the now classic Rebel Girls series! Bright colors and celebrating LGBTQ+ community is the theme of this book. I’m a huge believer that representation matters and this book covers icons from Marsha P Johnson and Sylvia Rivera to X Conzález from March For Our Lives.

This was a super cute kids book celebrating pride and women. Definitely would buy this for the kids in my life!

Shout out to Rebel Girls. When I saw this book, I literally cried. This book is a reminder that all of you, my beautiful, powerful, dynamic, REBELS must be proud of yourselves. We should be celebrating you every day of every month of every year for how BRAVE you are for making a stand. I couldn't be MORE proud for you. This book, through stories of powerful girls, trans, lesbians is a reminder that you don't have to be in the closet...Not anymore..

Rebel Girls always pops off when it comes to creating materials that are accessible and engaging for young minds. I love the bright illustrations as well as the diversity of people that get written about. This book includes some well known names as well as some I had never heard of from a variety of different backgrounds and topics.

I think this is a good addition to a YA library collection. It lets youth know about strong queer role models. I like the art in the book as well. There are some teaching resources at the end of the book too which is always a nice feature. I do not like that the QR codes within the book take you to download an app. I also found typos on pages 16, 32, and 50.

The Rebel Girls series never disappoints!
This new book, Rebel Girls Celebrate Pride, is so beautiful! The stories are definitely worth knowing, I'm glad I could learn about some amazing women through the book. If I had to criticize it, I'd say that it is too short and I want more! ☺️

I think it is wonderful for girls to be exposed to people who might be like them. There were many LBGTQ people in this book that I never heard of. I think it could give girls hope to see someone like them in a book that they can relate to.

I think that this is a fantastic entry in the Rebel Girls series. Those who are Pride adjacent or who themselves celebrate a PRIDE identity will get so much from this title. Kids and their adults who are a part of this community will feel recognized and those who are not will also find much to learn and admire here.

In this colorfully illustrated title, I found people whose names I recognized as, for example, Billie Jean King, Janelle Monae and Laverne Cox. I also met many new people in these pages. Here are sports figures, scientists, artists, activists and more.

Each person featured gets a two page spread. There is biographical information, a quote from each person, and some q codes. Lots to explore here in a good entry in the series. There is space to write, a list of helpful terms and more at the end of the book.

A Rebel Girls book all about the queer community! This is such a great book and gives wonderful biographies on some great figures. I would definitely recommend!

Rebel Girls does it again!

To be completely honest, I had tears in my eyes by the time I reached Laverne Cox's page. While this book is small--spanning only 64 pages--the heart within each of these 25 stories is HUGE. This Rebel Girls collection features 25 awe-inspiring stories about proud members of the LGBTQIA+ community: the full spectrum of gender identity and sexual orientation, featuring lesbian, transgender, asexual, pansexual, queer, cisgender, nonbinary, and bisexual voices. These women not only shattered stereotypes and made cracks in the glass ceiling, but also opened doors for the next generation and every generation after. These stories are full of passion, fight, and above all else, perseverance. My only problem with this book: I wish there were more stories to read and share!

As an added bonus, this book features accompanying audio stories and extra content. Don't miss this one!
