Great book - reminiscent of the late great Jackie Collins - one of my favorite authors of all time.

I didn't realise this book was the 3rd in a series! I will now have to get the other 2 books to read as I did enjoy this story!

Noooooooo it’s the end of a brilliant series and I’m devastated!! I need more!!

The Fall has been a brilliant read from beginning to end. I enjoyed every about this book. This is one that pulls you in and quickly becomes impossible to put down.

I was captivated by this book, I loved revisiting characters and found myself craving more. I devoured this book in just one sitting.

This is definitely explosive, the plot unfolds at the perfect pace and keeps you guessing. This is written in a way that you could be watching the events.

This is filled with realistic but flawed characters. I adored everything about this book. I really hope there’s more to come from these authors.

This is a superb read and one I highly recommend.

Book number 3 in this series. I recommend you read the books in order. It has a combination of both, emotional and dark topics. I was actually suprised at how much I loved this series.

The Fall - Shari Low; Ross King

Unknown to me before starting this book, this is actually the third book in a series, although there is a recap at the beginning I still found it a little hard to keep up with the characters and names throughout the book. I enjoyed the glitzy Hollywood setting and thought the writers did a wonderful job setting the scene. Still a very quick easy read. Thanks so much Netgalley and Boldwood Books for this e-arc in return for my honest thoughts and opinions.

I did not finish this one, it was not for me, I couldn't relate to the characters, and just did not care for the story.

As always, I loved this book!

I have read the previous two (though I think this book can be read as a standalone too) and this one didn't disappoint. Full of twists and drama to keep me hooked throughout - the ideal beach read.

Anything and everything from Shari Low will be on my TBR list so I'm eagerly anticipating the next.

This is the third installment in this series, but it isn’t necessary to read the first two. I didn’t realize it was a third installment until I began this book and it gave me a synopsis of what happened in the first two! I appreciated that the authors did that! I enjoyed this book more that I thought that I would. There is so much suspense and mystery. All of the characters are fascinating in their own way, even if I didn’t like them. There is a very touchy subject within this book that has to do with the #metoo movement. I will say, Sarah is a very strong character. I wish I could be like her when I grow up – full of strength and determination. It is easy to root for the three main characters and their friends/family and to hope for the worst for the villains. The book flowed so well that I read it in under a day! I think this is a book everyone could enjoy.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this general fiction book, as it is part 3 of a series, and I hadn't read the first two books, but since there was a summary of the characters and other stories at the start of the book, that really helped me, and then I could enjoy the new story of Zander, Mirren and Davie, former Glaswegians who are now living in Hollywood. The book is full of a lot of drama, twist and turns, suspense and excitement. Highly recommended!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.

I just seen the authors on this book and selected it. I hadn’t realised it was part of a series. Sadly I had t read the first 2 books I definitely need to go back and start at the beginning.

Having not read the other books I didn’t feel I lost anything. I loved this book. It was really exciting. There was plenty history from the books that came before to allow you the information to keep you updated.

I was literally hooked from the very first page. It was exciting and fast paced. A great plot that played out well. Very well written, definitely a winner

I really enjoyed this story about a group of friends whose friendship was brought together in horrific circumstances as teenagers. Now all leading very different lives they are brought together again after the tragic death of one of their friends and as their lives and relationships blow apart it’s a race against time to make sure they all get through the trials and tribulations thrown at them all set against the backdrop of Hollywood which Ross King certainly know all about.

This is the third and final book of a fabulous trilogy but if you haven’t read the first two, ‘The Rise’ and ‘The Catch’, you can still read this as a stand-alone, although I’d highly recommend reading all three.

There’s a summary at the start of the book to get readers up to speed with previous events, but equally there’s enough detail in the current storyline to enable you to get the gist without reading too much about what has already happened.

In ‘The Fall’ , we’re once again immersed into the lives of childhood friends Zander, Mirren and Davie, but this time it seems as though the trials and tribulations of life in the Hollywood fast lane have finally caught up with them all.

I loved the references to relevant songs to introduce each chapter and there was plenty of Shari Low’s trademark humour to be found, despite the dark nature of some aspects of the plot.

It was a joy to revisit the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and catch up with the lives of the main characters. I said in my previous review of ‘The Catch’ that these novels feel very reminiscent of Jackie Collins in her heyday and this certainly rings true in ‘The Fall’.

A thoroughly enjoyable read and highly recommended!

With thanks to the authors, Rachel at Random Resources and Boldwood Books for the opportunity to participate in the tour.

The Fall by Shari Low and Ross King is the last book in the trilogy and it follows the lives of three childhood friends from Glasgow - Zander, Davie, and Mirren.
The final book continues with their story. Zander has married his publicist - Hollie. Mirren is rebuilding her life after the death of her daughter and Davie is due to marry a journalist from his home country.
Except - there is a stalker following Zander and Hollie, someone is trying to sabotage Davie's world and has Mirren made a huge mistake?
The book is fast-paced, entertaining, and current and each page leaves you promising yourself just one more chapter....this is the sign of a gripping book!
A perfect beach read!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

What do you get when best-selling author Shari Low and renowned tv/ radio host, actor, and producer Ross King join forces? The Fall!

The Fall, is the third book in a stand-alone series Low and King pen; in which three childhood friends from, Glasgow, defeat the odds and make it big in, Hollywood. The Fall, finds the three main characters Zander, Davie, and Mirren (now in their forties) struggling to hold onto the personal and professional success they once had. With all three of their lives on the brink of destruction, can their friendship pull off another unimaginable win?

This fusion of suspense and pop culture made, The Fall, one of the most exciting books I have read in quite some time. I was caught off guard by all the twists and turns Low and King took me on. The inclusion of the pop culture references brought a sense of levity to all the dramatics. Every time I discovered a real person or event mentioned, I felt like I found an easter egg.

Jumping into the middle of a series is not something I usually advocate. In my experience, though most series are marketed as standalone books, they are best read in chronological order. Therefore I was skeptical to start, The Fall, having not read the first two books (The Rise and The Catch). However, I am a huge Shari Low fan and couldn’t resist.

Low and King exceeded all of my expectations with this series! They took the necessary steps to fill their readers in. Prior to chapter one, an in-depth recap of important plot points from both, The Rise and The Catch, is given. They also include character breakdowns for not only main characters, but secondary ones as well. While I have no need to go back and read The Rise and The Catch, I will be doing so because the story is just too good.

I highly recommend picking up a copy of, The Fall (and the rest of the series). Special thanks to a Netgalley, Shari Low, Ross King and Boldwood Books for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

This would be a great Lifetime movie. A great beach read for someone who only reads on holiday. If you are looking for a book about Hollywood stars and their behind the scenes lives, this is for you. The Daily Mail could run this story and I would believe it.

Although I enjoyed this fast=paced novel, I had not read the other books in this trilogy and would have benefitted from reading them first. Still a great and engaging novel

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
