This was an ARC from NetGalley. Quick read. I think this was my first book from this author. The writing style was good without a lot of extra fluff which was nice for a good thriller at a nice pace.

This author never disappoints. Although this is a fast-paced story, the twists, and turns kept me interested and guessing. Love the colorful cover as well.

Thanks to #netgalley for the ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. I am already a fan of Sheryl Browne's writing as my read books list will show, that doesn't stop me from reading and reviewing each of her books on their individual merits. This was a twisty, gripping tension filled read. I would classify it as a psychological thriller and I was loving it from the first to the last page. Secrets and lies abound in this thriller. Ben has convinced Naomi that moving to a new home is just what they nee! They have two young children and a baby on the way. Sure, this home isn't perfect. It has peeling wallpaper and an overgrown yard, but it has been vacant for some time and a little TLC is all it needs. Naomi is happy to meet Sara, her next-door neighbor. They have become instant friends, but Sara's face loses its welcoming smile when she meets Ben. She is not the only one who doesn't appear overjoyed to meet him. Then late one night there is a knock at the door....I loved trying to figure out who could be trusted in this book. There are a lot of characters, and many appear to have secrets. How well do we really know the people in our lives? I was drawn to the homeless lady and just where she might fit into this tale. It was a riveting read, the perfect combination of twists, secrets and atmosphere to keep you wanting to read just one more chapter. One of the twists still haunts me!! #myhusbandshouse #sherylbrowne #netgalley #bookouture #goodreads #getlitsy #thestorygraph #tea_sipping_bookworm #thriller #twisty #kindle #bookqueen #bookstagram

This starts off with some crazy drama. I got a little confused at first but then it takes off to a wild thriller!

This was intense but in a good way, I was constantly questioning the narrative becayse the twists were constantly sewing the seeds of doubt in your mind. The story is plotted so well and the characters are wonderfully created I couldn't put this down and oh wow what an ending.

This book is great from the opening drama of the stranger at the back door telling you to get out of her house to everything that unfolds in between. Gripping and a rollercoaster. Great writing

It had me at: “A stranger is standing on our doorstep. I turn to look at Ben’s face as he stares at her with unconcealed fury. Has he met this woman before? Nothing could prepare me for what she says: I know who you are. Get out of my house.” WOW what a thriller! Sheryl Browne never fails and this one was addicting! The many twist and turns, I never saw coming. A very cleverly written thriller that I highly recommend!

A domestic suspense thriller about lies and secrets and if there is ever a good time for them. This is filled with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. It is fast paced, fraught with suspense and kept me guessing. I couldn’t decide who was trustworthy and who was not. Dual timelines that come crashing together. The plot is layered and when all the layers come off, I was surprised at the outcome. There are neighbors and kids, tragedy and a little bit of a creepy vibe.

I’m beating around the bush here to avoid inadvertently spoiling anything. Read less about this and if you love drama and domestic thrillers, give this one a chance to knock your socks off.

I was excited to take part in the blog tour for this new suspenseful, thriller: My Husband’s House. I liked it a lot and could barely put it down; however, I will admit that I was frustrated with the main character in the last third of the story and I did not care for the very ending (which I found abrupt).

If you like twisty, suspenseful reads, pick this one up and give it a whirl!

Thank you for my copy and for making me part of the tour!

My Husband's House by Sheryl Browne

Twisty and gripping thriller! Just a big WOW once I have finished the book. I could not believe I have just read one of the most well-written thrillers.

Ben and Naomi had two young children and a little one was on the way. Naomi was convinced by Ben to move to a new house. With peeling wallpaper and overgrown garden in their new house, Naomi knew this was not something ideal. Creepy and uncomfortable. Especially Naomi is superstitious.

In a short period of time, Naomi made a new friend, her neighbour Sara. Sara was always caring and sometimes was even too much for Naomi. Naomi noticed that when Sara and her boyfriend Paul met Ben, they acted weird. They must be hiding something or was Naomi overreacting?

The tension has built up from the middle of the story. It's let you to keep guessing who to trust and the twist at the end is just mind-blowing. The story is mainly presented by Naomi and Sara POVs, which creates the in-depth of the story from two perspectives. I believe My Husband's House may probably remake into a movie one day!

Many thanks to Netgalley, Bookouture and Sheryl for this thriller.
