This is a wonderful and inspirational Christmas story. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. The plot of the story is very interesting and easy to follow. The two main characters are Gil and single dad and Noelle. The story also features Gil’s daughter Josie who plays a big role in the story. Readers will love the inspiring content and the funny dialogue. The author has done a really magnificent job with this story and readers will truly find joy in following this couple to their happily ever after.

The Christmas Brides Of Twilight by Lori Wilde is the latest entry into the Twilight, Texas series. I’ll admit, I’ve only read the Christmas themed books from this series and mostly enjoyed them. This story is about a wedding planner who returns to Twilight, Texas where she briefly spent the best parts of her youth with her grandparents. She’s back to plan a wedding for two contest winners — twins who are marrying brothers around Christmas. As it turns out, the twins are kind of difficult. Noelle Curry then encounters the man she had a crush on when she was younger – Gil. Turns out Gil is a widower and still very handsome. Oh and he owns the venue that the twins wedding will be taking place.

Generally, I like these Twilight Texas books. They are quick reads with some heartwarming moments. This one, maybe it was because I listened via audio, but it didn’t have that same vah vah voom for me. Or maybe it was because it felt a little too Hollywood with the whole LA wedding planner theme. I’m not sure. The audiobook is an easy listen – this is good for when you are stressed and literally cannot devote all your iota of energy to paying attention. It is so easy to follow and guaranteed not to stress you out even more. The narrator is Lisa Zimmerman who has a very pleasant voice. It is 8 hours and 35 minutes and well produces.

ON A SCALE OF ONE TO BUDDY THE ELF, HOW MUCH CHRISTMAS SPIRIT DOES THE CHRISTMAS BRIDES OF TWILIGHT HAVE?
Compared to the earlier books in this series, I would say this one has a little less spirit. Sure, there’s a Polar Bear Plunge for charity. There’s also talk of the cookie legend which takes place in the other books — good they kept that tradition up. However, nothing really pulled my heartstrings or made me think YES NOW I HAVE THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT. However, your mileage may vary and you should try this out yourself if you liked the other books from this series.

To say I’m obsessed with this book would be an understatement.

I loved everything about this book, from the setting, to the characters, to the character development, the plot, the climax... EVERYTHING.

Noelle Curry returns to Twilight, Texas to plan a wedding for two sisters who have won a contest.
She was raised by celebrity parents and has lived anything BUT a normal life.

Gil, who’s a young widowed dad, doesn’t have any time for relationships... but when Noelle returns to town after all these years, something in him changes.

Gil and Noelle form a friendship over the next 6 weeks while Noelle is in town and they share some hot and boiling chemistry.
Unfortunately, that 6 week timeline comes up quick and they have to decide what they will do.

Do they choose love or do they choose happiness apart from one another?

This book was perfect for anyone who enjoys a good hallmark movie this time of year.it has a lot of the parts that go in to one of those soppy ones.it follows a wedding-planner trying to strike out of her movie star parents as she returns to the small town she spent her summers at. She's got a huge opportunity to plan the wedding of two sets of twins for a major website. The only problem is her childhood crush is all grown up and a super hot widower with a7 year old. There is a huge build up of angst between these two. I appreciate the level of slow burn and build up, however I found it slightly irritating how-many times each character said "I can't do this, this is a mistake.... Xyz". It got really old. I also wish there was more wedding planning in the plot!i liked hearing how Noelle sorted things out and it definitely would have helped to have more of that drama. The scenes with Gil's kid were also pretty cheesy in my opinion. Although, ican accept that I'm not the target audience those scenes were written for. All in all it was a cute ch Christmas read. But not one I'll be reaching for year after year.

A sizzling chemistry Christmas story. This was a great addition to the series. I love the town of Twilight and the characters and it was a very heartwarming read.
Many thanks to Avon and Harper Voyager and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

The Christmas Brides of Twilight is the sixteenth novel in Lori Wilde’s Twilight, Texas series. As a child Noelle Curry, daughter of Hollywood royalty, would spend summers and holidays in Twilight with her beloved maternal grandparents. These were some of the happiest and most memorable times of her childhood. As a part of The Tie reality show contest for special weddings, Noelle had been chosen to plan and orchestrate a special wedding back in Twilight where two sets of twins were marrying in a Christmas Eve wedding.

Noelle was very surprised to encounter her teenage crush, Gil Thomas. She was even more surprised to learn that he was the owner of the event facility where the wedding reception was to be held. Gil was equally surprised to see the younger lady who had clearly crushed on him, but then the several years difference in age was an insurmountable obstacle back then. And now here she is, with an apartment accommodation at his sister’s bed and breakfast where he and his daughter live in a cottage on the grounds. Their paths intersect so often it’s as though it were being orchestrated. With two brides and two grooms to please, events going awry, and a demanding long distance mother, Noelle has more balls in the air than she can easily juggle.

This is a fun read, with interesting characters and a perfect little town in Texas. I did enjoy this book and I do recommend it!

Noelle did not have the best examples when it came to love and relationships from her parents but that hasn’t deterred her from pursuing her career as a wedding planner. It is this career that leads her back to Twilight, where she shared so many happy memories with her grandparents, to plan a double wedding and also reunites her with the boy who captured her teenage heart, Gil.

Gil gave us his dreams of singing professionally and stayed in Twilight where he got married and became a father. After his wife’s passing his daughter Josie is his only priority but what would be the harm with a little fun with Noelle.

I enjoyed seeing the deepening relationship between Noelle and Gil as despite their insecurities and need to be cautious the feelings between them are undeniable and the future they could have together is worth overcoming all the challenges they are facing.

Noelle returns to Twilight, Texas to plan the dream wedding for the Buckhorn twins. She plans to swoop into town, plan the wedding, and leave but the universe had a different plan for her. Gil is focused on running his business and raising his young daughter but maybe it's time to find love again. The two of them have some hurdles to overcome before they have a chance at happily ever after. Will they find lasting love or heartbreak?

Noelle is an interesting character. She is successful but she feels the weight of being the daughter of two very famous people. I liked how the author gave Noelle a chance to grow and learn to believe in herself. It felt very natural and real life how she had to work through both personal growth and the wedding planning. I had to laugh out loud as she learned that she was considered cursed! Gil is content in his life so his realization that he was interested in pursuing a relationship with Noelle was a surprise to him. The author did a good job showing how he balanced his attraction to Noelle with his very busy life. He was so sweet with how he pursued Noelle even before he realized he was interested! I thought the addition of Gil's daughter was good and necessary. She acts like a typical little kid and does so silly and impulsive things. The author created some really good side characters that added some much-needed balance to the story. There is no bad guy in this story.

This is a small-town love story about two people who knew each other when they were younger but this is not a second chance romance. If you like sweet love stories chock full of little teasers that don't go anywhere (eg initials carved into a tree that only one of them knows about) and lots of kindness, give this a try. I will read more from this author in the future.

This is a very sweet small-town story.

Gil and Noelle were neighbors as kids when she visited her grandparents. Once they passed and her mother sold the house she hadn't returned, but she never got over her first crush. When work as a wedding consultant brings her back to Twilight, she and Gil reconnect.

He's now a widower and single Dad living and working with his sister at her B &B. They decide on a friend's with benefits relationship while she's in town but neither expect the feelings they will experience. Can they adjust dreams to forge ahead with a relationship? You're going to want this next addition to the Twilight series. Pure delight as usual Lori Wilde style!

Although I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hot and spicy this book will keep you turning the pages. Back in twilight for a job Noelle comes face to face with the only boy she has ever loved, but will the man live up to the image of the boy? Planning a wedding in a place known for helping couples find their true love Noelle. It’s keep focused on her job not her feeling for Gil. A perfectly spicy read for a cold winter day.

Author Lori Wilde brings us another Christmas delight with The Christmas Brides of Twilight. Twilight is a small town in Texas where Christmas is celebrated from the day after Thanksgiving. The residents are all very close and support each other. It is a wonderful place to live or spend some time in.

Noelle Curry is the daughter of two famous Hollywood parents. Growing up, she spent many of her summers and holidays with her grandparents in Twilight. She crushed on local resident Gil Thomas way back when, and seeing him years later brings back all of those butterflies. Noelle is now a semi-famous wedding planner and is in Twilight to plan the wedding of a lifetime. Gil is a single dad to a spunky seven-year-old, Josie. He gave up his musical career to raise Josie, with no regrets. Noelle being in town is the icing on the cake. They fall into lust and love while figuring out how to make their lives work together.

This holiday read packs a bit of heat and the author does a terrific job of describing the sights and sounds of the holiday season.

Returning to Twilight, Texas is always a joy for me. I love this small-town and all of it's "love" traditions and superstitions. The kismet cookies, the Sweetheart Fountain & Sweetheart Tree tie these books together in the best of ways.

Noelle is back in Twilight after 13 years to plan a double wedding for two sets of local twins for a magazine spread that she hopes will help solidify her status as a top wedding planner back home in L.A. The first person she sees upon her return is Gil, the boy she crushed on whenever she visited her grandparents as a teen. As luck would have it, Single father Gil happens to be living with his daughter on the grounds of the B&B where Noelle is staying. They share an instant spark but immediately dismiss it because she isn't staying and he doesn't have time for love, his life it devoted to his daughter. Life has other plans and soon neither Noelle or Gil are able to ignore their chemistry.

This was a sweet story with just a touch of Christmas fun. A story of friendship, family, second chances and opening your heart to change and being open to changing course. This was a great addition to the Twilight, Texas series.

The Christmas Brides of Twilight is the fourteenth book in the Twilight, Texas series by author Lori Wilde, and it was nice to be back even though I have a few books in this series to catch up on.

The story had a good flow and a fast pace with all things related to the holidays and Christmas. There are also a lot of wedding preparations since there will be a double wedding with twins marrying twins. The couples won a contest they entered, and Noelle became their wedding planner. Noelle is also known as “The Wedding Whisperer” since she handles all problems and people relating to weddings.

Noelle has a history in Twilight since she spent holidays and vacations with her grandparents, which are some of her happiest memories. Her parents are both stars with multiple marriages and no time for her. But when her mom calls, she needs to be available!

Noelle reconnects with people and families she used to know in this small town, and Gil is no exception. She had a crush on Gil as a teen, and it hasn’t gone away. There’s a mutual attraction, but he’s a widower with a five-year-old daughter, so things are definitely sticky on that front. There were a few steps forward and then even more back as they tried to figure out if this would be a holiday fling for the weeks she was in town or if it could be more.

Several stories are woven nicely together and, in some instances, unexpected connections. There are beautiful descriptions of the decorations and activities and lots of reminisces along with some mean girl moments and bullying. There are some steamy moments, too. There is closure with a happily ever after that takes place a year later. It was beautifully scripted, but I felt we rushed from the end of the story to the epilogue.

Lori Wilde is an author whose books I enjoy, reminiscent of Susan Mallery, Susan Wiggs, Jill Shalvis, and other contemporary romance authors. They always leave me with a feel-good feeling!

The Christmas Brides of Twilight is a contemporary holiday read that filled me with more holiday spirit than I expected, along with happiness, romance, and love.

For a wonderful visit to Twilight, Texas read The Christmas Brides of Twilight by Lori Wilde. The one who got away returns to find the one who stayed is still just as attractive as when she left. A second chance story that has the characters of single dad, Gil Thomas and “The Wedding Whisperer” Noelle Curry getting reacquainted in Twilight.

Noelle’s grandparents lived in Twilight but she has been back in years so this is a story of renewed friendships, new friendships, seeing life in Twilight through adult eyes and then there is the romance. A sweet daughter of Gil’s adds to the story but this is Noelle and Gil’s story. Trust issues, responsibilities to be taken into consideration besides the chemistry that flames to life between Gil and Noelle. Plenty of steam but also plenty of heart. Reads well as a stand-alone.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Twilight is a special place, but especially magical at Christmas time. Noelle Curry has her work cut out for her, planning a wedding for two sets of twins. Add in running into her long ago crush and his precocious daughter, and it's a lot for Noelle to juggle.

But the town of Twilight, along with the Christmas season, work their magic, and Noelle finds the home her heart has been longing for. Sweet, charming, humorous, and uplifting, this is just the thing to put you in the holiday spirit!

Noelle is back to town, where she had so many beautiful memories. She has to plan the most spectacular double wedding town has seen. She will get help from none other, than Gil, her teenager crash.
I loved this book. Wonderful storyline.
