Fun small town romance set during Christmas. A must read for fans of Hallmark Christmas movies. Very enjoyable.

Noelle is a busy wedding planner but wants to plan something other than her mother’s many weddings. She reviews contest entries for those hoping to win a free wedding and something about twin sisters, marrying twin brothers and in the small town she had lived in many years ago piques her interest.

There are plenty of wedding planning issues along with seeing her teenage crush again. Gil has a young daughter and along with his family and those living in Twilight, makes for a sweet story with engaging characters and interesting storyline.

This holiday story is one that many will enjoy, especially for those that love Hallmark Christmas movies.

Thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book.

What does the child of a 4 times divorced actress and a 3 times divorced dad grow up to be? A wedding planner of course! Noelle is so focused and organized, and has been around weddings all her life, so it’s the obvious choice!

Now getting the chance to go to where her grandparents lived, see the boy she had a crush on all grown up, and make a name for herself, I mean, don’t we all want to have this? And she’s going to one of those towns that seems right out of a Hallmark movie! All she has to do is plan a wedding for a set of twins marrying twins… ugh, as the mom of twins, no thanks!!!

Now, I have to tell you, single daddy (yup) Gil kind of makes up for the Mother of the Brideszilla! These 2 sure have some chemistry! And I love their misunderstandings! Honestly, there are times I just wanted to lock them in a closet.

It was such fun to return to Twilight, Texas for a double wedding, where twins were marrying twins. Twilight was a small town filled with a Sweetheart Tree and a Sweetheart Fountain, Kismet cookies, and romance. I liked Noelle Curry, the Wedding Whisperer, who was the planner for the double wedding. She lived in Los Angeles but had spent time in Twilight staying with her grandparents. I enjoyed learning about why Noelle had chosen the twin's essay as the winning entry in The Tie's contest. I also enjoyed reading to find out if the town's legend would bring her the happily ever after she wanted with Gil Thomas. He was the boy who had lived across the street from her grandparents and whom she had a crush on when she was younger. She had even slept with the kismet cookie underneath her pillow and she had written their initials on the Sweetheart Tree. She almost threw a coin in the Sweetheart Fountain. This was a fun story to read with all of the folklore and the problems with the double wedding. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

One of my favorite Christmas read so far this year! Only read one of the Twilight series and definitely can be read as a standalone. Joelle is a up an coming wedding planner and has the opportunity to take her business to the next level. The Tie had picked her to be the wedding planner for the winners of their wedding contest. Identical twins, marrying identical twins! Plus it is in the town of Twilight where Noelle’s happiest memories from her childhood are with her grandparents and her teenage crush on the boy next door.
Gil is a single dad raising his 7 year old daughter. One gets an inside look of the struggles and love between the two. But when his daughter asks for a new mommy for Christmas, it seems a little unbelievable till he reconnects with Noelle. She still seems to be crushing on Gil, but life is in LA and this is only for 6 weeks. And her famous many times over divorce parents has really put her in the mindset that there is no such thing as love.
Wonderful characters, fast read, now I need to read some of the previous books. Thank you NetGalley for this eARC. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story. #NetGalley #TheChristmasBridesofTwilight

Even though I haven't read any of the other books in this Twilight series, I didn't feel lost or confused reading this story. Noelle and Gil are great characters and the people in the town were great additions. I am interested in going back and seeing how the town became such an interesting and fun place. Great novel to get you into the holiday spirit!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for advanced copy, and I give my review freely

I love the whole Twilight series. Smalltown sweet romance with a bit of whimsy and/or wishful thinking staged at Christmas in the best Christmas town of Twilight (aka Granbury, TX). Descriptive of all the beauty, well fleshed characters, and all the meshing of what small towns are so famous for. This is a second chance romance, with a bit of a stretch, between Noelle and Gil, who met when she was a kid and stayed at her grandparents.
They never forgot each other from all those years ago being friends. Well-meaning relatives and friends, and busybodies, help these two see they were meant for each other, including his daughter.
Sweet, yet meaningful, a great holiday read.
I received an ARC from NetGalley, and I am giving only my own opinion from reading. I would recommend reading it. Rather put me in a happy Christmas mood.

Noelle has not been in Twilight since her grandparents died thirteen years ago. She is back in town as the official wedding planner for a set of identical twins who are marrying another set of identical twins and won a Christmas Bride Contest. When she goes to check into the B&B she learns that it is under new ownership and it is the sister of her first crush, Gil. Through the trials of planning a wedding in six weeks, Noelle fights her renewed attraction to Gil, the widowed father of a young daughter. I really enjoyed this book and it can be read as a standalone book even though it is part of a series.

Twilight, Texas – Present Day

Noelle Curry arrives in Twilight to help plan the wedding of two sisters to two brothers as part of a television show. Noelle didn’t grow up in Twilight but made several visits when she was a child while her grandparents were alive. On her first night there, she runs into her teenage crush, Gil Thomas and her insides go squishy from remembering how she felt about him. It helps that he lives on the same property as the bed and breakfast where Noelle is staying, which means she sees him a lot. Gil is now a widowed father of a little girl and isn’t looking for a holiday romance. Noelle agrees on romance being off the table since she is under the microscope of her boss to make sure the wedding ceremony goes off without a problem. But there is no escaping their mutual attraction as she continually runs into Gil.

Gil remembers Noelle as the gawky teenager who popped in and out of town to visit her grandparents. His first priority is his daughter, who is suddenly having issues in school from bullies. Christmas is approaching, which means there are activities to be attended, and it makes sense to ask Noelle to join them since she is from out of town and because he is a nice guy. As they rekindle their long-ago friendship, an attraction develops. How can they avoid acting upon it if they are always around each other?

Noelle’s mother is an often-married actress who would dump her only child on her parents. Because she helped her mother plan all those weddings through the years, Noelle is good at wedding planning and got hooked up with a reality TV show. She has quickly become known as the wedding whisperer, so it’s no wonder that the sister brides called on her to plan their wedding and have it filmed for the show. Meanwhile, Noelle realizes that she is playing with fire—and her emotions—by being around Gil because she is growing more and more attracted to him each day. As the Christmas Eve wedding grows closer, Noelle is finding herself having to deal with issues, with plenty of pressure from her boss to not screw up, or she will be ostracized in the business.

A fun romance that is the fourteenth installment in the Twilight, Texas series, THE CHRISTMAS BRIDES OF TWILIGHT is a standalone read even if you’ve never read the series before. While there are minor characters who pop in and out of scenes, the main focus is on Noelle and Gil and their burgeoning romance. Both understand that she will be leaving once the wedding is over, but they can’t help but enjoy a little hanky panky along the way—and hope his impressionable daughter doesn’t catch on. After all, there are no plans to make Noelle the newest Mrs. Gil Thomas. Unfortunately, things are not going smoothly for our couple. Will they be able to work out the angst and problems surrounding them?

Noelle discovers that she enjoys living in Twilight, but her career has to be number one right now. Gil must consider what is best for his daughter over getting involved with a woman who might flit in and out of their lives. Yet, as they fall in love, is there a way that they can figure out how to build a future together? There are plenty of sexy fun scenes and sparkling banter to help make THE CHRISTMAS BRIDES OF TWILIGHT a tale you won’t want to miss.

Happy Friday with a small-town Christmas romance with The Christmas Brides of Twilight by Lori Wilde!

I've read a a few of the books in the Twilight, Texas series that this is book fourteen in but they all read as a standalone so I recommend checking this one out. Twilight is a cute small-town that you wish you lived in.

Noelle used to spend time with her grandparents who lived in Twilight, but she hadn't been back in years so when she has the opportunity to be a wedding planner for a Christmas Eve double wedding between two sets of twins, she jumps at the chance. She runs into her teenage crush, Gil and starts to fall in love with him and his seven-year-old daughter. Will she stay in the only place that's felt like home?

This was a cute, quick read that has Hallmark movies all over it. If you're looking for a small town holiday book check this out on December!

Lori Wilde never disappoints. This is a wonderful Christmas romance of a woman who has returned to her hometown to act as wedding planner for twins who won a contest. She immediately sees the one person she didn't want to see--the man she used to have a crush on.

Single dad, Gil, is immediately interested when he runs into Noelle. Having a child certainly makes things more difficult for the two. He's dealing with daughter problems and Noelle is dealing with wedding problems. She's also returning back to her normal job when this is over. Do they have a chance at all to make something of the attraction between them or will it have to be a fling?

I really enjoyed this Christmas story of romance, family, responsibility and going for what you really want.

Noelle Curry is returning to Twilight to direct a wedding for twins marrying twins. If she pulls it off, she will set to go with her company. Her grandparents lived in Twilight, and she always loved coming to visit. They are gone now, and she hasn't been back in years. She had a crush on Gil Thomas the older boy across the street.
Gil Thomas is a single dad with a daughter to raise. His wife died 5 years ago, and he has put all his time into his daughter Josie. When he sees Noelle he is blown away about how stunning she is now.
Noelle has always loved the small town and is happy to meet up with old friends and make new friends. When Gil and Noelle decide to have a fling; because he doesn't want his daughter to get her hopes up for a mommy. They both realize that their feelings are real and can they let go of the insecurities to get their HEA.

I love Lori Wilde books, especially her Christmas books, and this one did not disappoint. I look forward to this every year. Noelle returns to Twilight Texas to be a wedding planner for twins. The women won her wedding planning services as a part of Noelle's tv show. Noelle's late grandparents were from Twilight. She remembers visiting as a kid. She also remembers Gil. He's a single dad. This book has great conflict. Both characters have their own issues to overcome. It was well written and for sure got me in the holiday spirit. I enjoyed every second. Huge thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for allowing me to read and review this book.

Six week slow burn.

I quite enjoyed this book. Noelle, the child of famous parents was an awkward teen who visited her grandparents in Twilght, is now a successful and polished wedding planner. She had a crush on the handsome Gil Thomas, now a widowed single father. He never left Twilight and is focused on being a father to his daughter Josie. He never noticed Noelle when they were teenagers, but he sure is noticing her now.

In town to plan a wedding for The Tie, Noelle is only in town for six weeks and doesn't want to start anything with Gil. Gil doesn't want to get serious with Noelle, who is leaving in six weeks. Gil and Noelle are great together. They are better together and good for each other. But time is ticking.
Recommend.

Noelle comes to Twilight to plan a wedding for twin sisters. And who should she see right off the bat but the boy she was in love with years ago. Gil is now a widower with a young daughter. When they come face to face the sparks fly. Can they resist themselves. After all Noelle is only here for a short time. Twilight is a magical place where anything can happen.

The Christmas Brides of Twilight by Lori Wilde is another example of what we’ve come to expect from Wilde: a fun and satisfying cowboy romance. Noelle Curry hadn’t exactly grown up in Twilight, Texas, but she had spent considerable time there with her grandparents. Her own parents, both stars in their own right, had never had time to be parents. As a child and a young teen, Noelle had had a crush on her across-the-street neighbor, Gil Thomas. Who should be the first person she saw in Twilight, but Gil himself, stripping down to dash into the water as part of the local Santa Claus Polar Plunge. My, he had grown up nicely. Noelle was now a wedding planner of some renown, due in part to her parents’ fame, but she was about to make it big on her own. She was the wedding planner for a set of twins marrying another set of twins, having won a nationwide contest sponsored by The Tie, a major mover in the industry. If she could pull this off, she would be all set, but the mother of twin brides turned out to be even more intimidating and opinionated than the normal bride’s mother. Also, it turned out Gil Thomas lived in a cottage at the same B & B Noelle was staying at. Both convenient and inconvenient. But, it turned out he was widowed with a small daughter. His sister owned the B & B.

Noelle was a terrific character, scarred by having grown up with parents who were too self-centered to care. Thank God for her grandparents. She had scars, plenty of them, the worst being her trust that people would not leave her. She was a warm and friendly person who did her job well, though. Gil had been a wannabe country star and got entangled in an ill-advised marriage. Maybe they could have made something of it, maybe not, but it had been cut short when Tammy-Jo died, along with her parents, in a plane crash. But, he had Josie, his seven-year-old who felt the lack of a mother keenly. The three of them, plus the wedding party, made this an absolutely fun read. The characters were real, the situation was not quite as real, but close, and so much of it harkened back to people we all know. It was a wonderful Christmas read!

A second chance holiday romance? Sign me up.

Coming home to plan a set of twins’ wedding our planner meets her old crush who is now a widow single father. Love blooms but fear of commitment and loss looms.

This was a perfectly nice cute romance. Part of a series but can be read as a standalone. A perfect book for the holiday season.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.

Back home for a project for the magazine she works for, one of the first things Noelle Curry sees when she gets to town is Gil Thomas, her old flame, wearing nothing but a pair of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer swim trunks. Wowza! But she’s not here for romance. She’s there to plan the wedding for a set of twins marrying a set of twins, and she must pull it together quickly and without no glitches. Is that even possible?

Gil is now a single dad to 7-year-old Josie, who wants a new mommy for Christmas. He isn’t interested in romance at the moment, yet seeing Noelle again makes him yearn for more. But Noelle plans to leave right after the holiday, and Gil has no plans to ever leave.

Noelle and Gil might not think things could work between them, but Josie and Kismet cookies have other plans.

A fun second chance romance. small town charm, wonderful characters, and a HEA.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Lovely second chance surrounded by a background of Christmas.

Noelle is back in Twilight as the wedding whisperer after not visiting for 13 years. The first thing she sees is a polar plunge and the object of her teenage fantasies Gill Thomas looking even better than he did back then. She has a job to do pulling off a double wedding for her magazine with no time for distractions, and he is a single dad with no intentions of bringing anyone into his family who’s not staying. Of course, Josie, Gill’s daughter, wants one thing for Christmas… a mommy.

This is a lovely installment of the Twilight, Texas series. I enjoyed the characters Lori Wilde has created and how they come together naturally. It is always a plus to see people from previous books and perhaps get a sense of another upcoming story. There were some funny moments as Noelle navigated the twin brides and twin grooms through their journey of wedding planning and cold feet. Josie was a feisty and adorable seven-year-old, who knows what she wants and the interactions with her and Noelle were sweet. Noelle and Gill’s HEA was pleasant and entertaining. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley, and this is my honest review.
