Not sure I'd agree this for a novice looking to discover their inner power - there is a lot (and I do mean a lot!) of information in here, and though it is delivered as insights and nuggets, there is the very real possibility of getting overwhelmed by all this is disclosed and revealed throughout.
I'd say this is one of those books best kept on one's bedside table (or e-reader), to read/digest/integrate one insight per day or a few per week, and progress through the year. When you're done, then keep it as a tome to open randomly and see what information you land on that day, aka the Universe's message to you at that moment.
Some parts would've really benefited from more details, for example a few instances where the author refers to their private experiences - some more context to their particular experience might've made the insight less opaque - but to each their own level of privacy, plus I understand not wanting to cloud the reader's judgement with too much information that might stop them from seeing their forest and their trees. Still, I'd say the author could also use this book as the first draft of another work where he'd go into much more detail about what he means and the message he wants to impart
