Thank you Kensington Books for allowing me too read, Amish Christmas Kinner by Lenora Worth; Rachel J. Good; and Kelly Long. This collection contains three Amish Christmas novelettes. CHRISTMAS EVE BABY * Lenora Worth; BEST CHRISTMAS PROGRAM EVER * Rachel J. Good; and LOVING LUKE * Kelly Long.

Each of these ladies have a delightful, unique way of telling a story.

Lenora worth allows us to return to Shadow Lake Inn and glides smoothly into a new story of the King family as they help another stranger on Christmas Eve.

Rachel J. Good takes us back to the Green Valley Farmer’s Market, introducing two homeless children and a lonely store keeper.

Kelly Long shares with us in her truly unique telling of a sad young man and a broken family in need of love. She tells this story In her Ice Mountain style of story telling.

Each story is not only told well, but the characters are well developed, and the transition in the stories is seamless.

I was given an ARC by the publisher, but I was not required to give a positive review. All opinions are my own. I recommend you order your copy of this 5-star collection today.

I would like to thank Kensington Books, Netgalley and the authors for the E ARC of this book.
This anthology has 3 lovely stories which are set in various locations at and around Christmas time.
Christmas Eve Baby by Lenora Worth – we meet three sisters who along with their parents and their husbands run Shadow Lake Inn. A young pregnant Amish lady arrives at the Inn in the middle of a really bad snow storm, she is supposed to meet her husband at the Inn. We learn more of the ladies story, also more of the family who run the Inn.
I loved the characters and the setting of the Inn. I plan to read more by this author.

Best Christmas Program Ever by Rachel J. Good – we are back in the Green Valley Farmers Market. We meet Emily, who is helping at the cheese stall. She can be a bit clumsy but has a heart of gold and will work really hear. On her second day there she comes across two hungry children, who obviously need help. Emily has connections with child services, as she and her mother foster and adopt children. Can she help these two children and in doing so will she also help her co worker Hosea, who is grieving.
I love the setting of the market, the characters were so well written. The two children tugged at the heart strings. A beautiful story and a great addition to the Green Valley Farmers Market series.

Loving Luke by Kelly Worth – Grace needs help to run the shop and just generally so she puts an advert in the paper for an Amish man to be her husband. Luke answers the advert and this is the story of the two of them plus Grace’s children forging a relationship.
I loved this story, the author did a great job of portraying the difficulty that is had when a widower with children remarries – especially when the children haven’t had a chance to get to know the new person. I will be reading more by this author.

I received a free copy of, Amish Christmas Kinner by Lenora Worth: Rachel J. Good; Kelly Long, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This book has three Amish Christmas story from The Amish Mail order Grooms series.
The first book is Christmas Eve Baby by, Lenora Worth, Its Christmas Eve and a women in labor shows up at midwife Sarah King's farm, what providence, arriving at a midwives house to have your Christmas baby.
The second book is Best Christmas Program Ever, by Rachel J. Good. Emily Flaud and Hosea King work together, when they find orphans in need of parents, can they fill those roles?
The third story is Loving Luke by, Kelly Long. Recently widowed Grace needs help with her kinner, Luke King is not her prince charming, or is he.
I loved all three of these stories, I just wish they were longer.

A lovely collection of tender romances, with a sweet holiday theme. I enjoyed all of these novellas by different authors. The first one seemed to be an epilogue to the author's Shadow Lake series, but it was easy to pick up the storyline. They all had a generous spirit of giving, fitting perfectly with Christmas. I liked the idea of the story quilts. It made me curious to read the other books in her series. The second one was lovely, with a couple of lonely people who find a new love while helping a pair of neglected children. Their story was quite touching. The last novella was my favorite, with a mail order groom and a widow. The theme of abuse was touched on sensitively, and a redemptive message added light to their story. I wish this one had been longer; it would make a good full length novel.
Overall an enjoyable read! 4 stars

Amish Christmas Kinner is a collection of short stories that focus on children during the Christmas season. The first story by Lenora Worth continues the Shadow Lake series and centers around a young mother-to-be who ends up at Shadow Lake Inn as she goes into labor. The second story by Rachel J Good is about two homeless children who find a Christmas miracle at the Green Valley Farmer’s Market. The third story by Kelly Long is about a man who becomes a mail-order husband for a widow who needs help raising her children.

These stories are great for getting a person in the Christmas spirit, and what better way to show the spirit of Christmas than through children. The stories are all entertaining and uplifting. All three of the stories are good, but my favorite is the second story by Rachel J Good.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian fiction or Amish stories. And although the book would be a great read any time of the year, it would be especially enjoyable around Christmas.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Christmas time in Amish country. A gentle read for those who are interested in the lives of the plain folk, with emphasis on family and community.

I really enjoyed these quick stories, and for some I have read the back stories, but there is a lot of information given, and you won't be lost.

From a snow storm and an impending birth of a new baby, and we get to see the true spirit of Christmas come alive and shared!

The second story shows the love of innocent little ones, and overcoming tremendous grief. This one will warm your heart, and in the end I wanted to continue on in their lives!

The third story features a mail order groom, and does touch on abuse. There is a side story of a delightful Amish man who wants a woman a bit older, and you get to enjoy his courting techniques.

These reads do feature children, and they pull you into each of the books!

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Kensington, and was not required to give a positive review.

I loved the cute Christmassy cover on this book and the title made me want to pick up the book and read it. This book is a collection of Christmas stories written by three well known Authors. Lenora Worth, Rachel J. Good and Kelly Long. Two of the stories were filled with the Christmas Spirit while the third one touched my heart while I read the short story. I usually do not read novella collections but I felt drawn to this one because I liked the Authors who shared novellas in this delightful collection.

Christmas Eve Baby - Lenora Worth
Lenora takes her readers back to the Shadow Lake Inn and they get to catch up with all the characters from that series in this beautiful Christmas story. Though the inn usually closes for Christmas Day they remain open due to the most unusual of circumstances. One of those circumstances would be a lone Amish lady struggling through a heavy snowfall to find the Inn. Lost and in labor the poor lady arrives at the inn. Readers are reminded that when Jesus was born there wasn’t room at the Inn but on this Christmas Eve there was indeed room at the Shadow Lake Inn for this half frozen
mother to be !

Best Christmas Program- Rachel J. Good
This story of a Christmas Romance begins when a grieving Amish Widower hired a young Amish women to work at his cheese booth at the Farmers Market. Rachel has also used some of her characters from one of her series in this novella. God uses both the woman and the man to fulfill his purposes when two homeless Kinner steal cheese from samples they have set out for their customers. Can something beautiful work out of a situation like this one during the Christmas season?

Loving Luke- Kelly Long
Luke King needs work if he hopes to be able to support himself. He learns about an add in the newspaper where an Amish Widow is seeking a mail order Amish groom. He must be a gentleman and love Kinner. That was just two things that the position required. Luke decides to apply since he really hasn’t anywhere else to turn to. Though this story wasn’t really about Christmas it did happen in the winter time. Both the man and woman have had to endure abuse in their past and their lives have been scarred by it. Can there be a future for these two hurting people and the widow’s Kinner?

I recommend Amish Christmas Kinner to readers of Amish Fiction, Christian Fiction and fans of the Authors. This book is scheduled to be released on 9/26/23.

I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions expressed here in this review are entirely my own.

This is a delightful trio of Amish Christmas stories. Challenges and love await the families in each of these books.

Christmas Eve Baby gives us a mother in labor, lost in a snowstorm who shows up on the porch of an Amish Inn. Challenges and adventure await the reader as the family who runs the inn has to try to find the father who is also lost in the snowstorm, as well as wait on the laboring mother.

Best Christmas Program Ever tells us about two children who show up at the Green Valley Market dressed in rags and obviously hungry are caught snitching cheese and candy. Grace Fisher, who is a foster mom, sees them do this and after talking to them, decides to take action on their behalf. Grace, however, has just started a job in the booth at the market and is unsure how her new boss, Hosea, will respond to this situation. Hosea, however, has his own issues to overcome. You will want to read this to see how the situations are resolved for Grace, the two children and Hosea.

Loving Luke centers around widow, Grace Fisher, who has three children and a store to run on her own. She has sent a letter to the newspaper asking for an Amish Mail Order Groom, who can help her run the store, is gentle, and can help raise the children. Grace and her children are bogged down with emotional abuse received from her husband who passed away. Luke is just fresh out of prison and not sure how he will be received by Grace and the children. This is a sweet romance of forgiving, adjusting, and loving.

I recommend this sweet Christmas trilogy to those who enjoy Amish books and books centering around the Christmas season. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Kensington Publshing and the opinions expressed are my own.

Enjoyable but since the three stories are short stories there is at times a feeling like something is missing. Still though, liked this one, especially the second story, but enjoyed them all. Would recommend.

This was such a cute book of stories. I read it in June, so it doesn't need to be Christmas time. I don't know which story I liked the best, but I was rooting for each of the characters.
