I love this devotional for girls! It has a fun assortment of devotionals that my daughter has enjoyed tremendously. I love that it encourages kids to dig deeper and learn more about the Bible stories.

I love the Esther and Me Devotions for Girls by Trisha Priebe! Esther and Me Devotions for Girls breaks up the story of Esther in the Bible with life and Biblical applications. I liked the approach of the book and used it for my own personal devotion time. Esther and Me Devotions for Girls would be perfect for a girl of any age. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.

I highly recommend the “Esther & Me Devotions for Girls” book to any young girl who is looking to grow to be more like Jesus. The author uses clear and simple explanations of the Scripture account and she draws wonderfully practical applications to everyday life for the reader. I think the layout of the book, using colors to define the separate devotional readings, is helpful and the colors themselves are soothing and peaceful. I like that the part of the Bible account used in each devotional is printed in the book, which then could encourage the reader to reference her own copy of the Word. Each section is an attainable amount of reading with a succinct thought that the young reader can take away to meditate upon that day. The succinct thoughts are set apart a bit to emphasize the content more in the reader’s mind. I look forward to sharing this book with my daughter so she can hold it and read it for herself.

I requested and received a copy of this book for review. The thoughts and words expressed here are wholly my own.

This is a perfect beginner devotional book for young girl. I love the setup of a verse, the story, and then a prayer with application from that portion of the story.

This book covers the story of Esther. It makes the important point several times that although God was not mentioned, He was evidently working in the life of Esther.

Because it is intended to be a devotional book, I do feel like there should have been somewhere to write thoughts, etc. (It may be in the print copy--I read a digital version.)

Thank you Barbour Publishing and NetGalley for this advanced copy.

I received a complimentary copy from Barbour Publishing and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.

This was a delightful read about Esther and I loved that the book was divided into sections making the story digestible. The book teaches about courage, trust and why everyone has a purpose. It's perfect for the young ones and the young at heart as it allows glimpses into Esther and Haman . I recommend it to everyone.

I must confess that I really hoped for a good book, but it was not so. This book is not a study book for children. It is merely an interpretation or an application on the text. I expected more even for a children’s book
