Ever since I’ve read romance book set in the Scottish Highlands I have always been interested in their clans and then this book just like the first one written by the author we learn about seven more famous battles the clan names are familiar with the battles or not and I am not going to try and butcher any of them in this review. Just know if there’s anything you wanted to know about clans in the battles you need to read clan battles by Chris Pierce. I say there’s only the mention of seven battles but it feels like they had more than that but you’ll have to read and decide for yourself. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend that I love great nonfiction and would definitely put this in that category. Scotland has always been fascinating to me. The history, the clans, the amazing countryside.
Clan Battles is well written and interesting. Imagery along the way, makes the history easy to follow and breaks it up.
