I loved the illustrations and the creativity of Ellie Mae's future. The color and whimsy of the illustrations are so fun.

Ellie Mae’s imagination runs wild when she’s asked what she wants to be when she grows up. There are so many options, she finds she can’t pick just one.

I read this book with my nine-year-old niece who often has a different response for what she wants to be every time she’s asked. We both really liked the book as well as the graphics.

Ellie Mae, like all children, has many dreams of who she wants to be. It reminds me of when I was a child where I wanted to be so many things, i.e., a teacher, a lawyer, model. The ending is what I expected Ellie to be, dressed up in everything she wanted and her teacher encouraging her to dream big. A perfect and classic picture book for growing children.

My daughter Ellie loved this book! She has a big imagination and loved the silly ideas of what to be “when she grows up big”. The pictures are bright and interactive as well. Highly recommend

This was adorable. I love Ellie Mae’s ability to dream big, and I could see her becoming a beloved children’s character.

This is a cute story discussing the decision of what you want to be when you grow up and the art and plot were adorable. This is great illustration and beautiful when it comes to describing the variation of careers. I think I just wish it was longer. Because of these points, I give this a 4 out of 5 stars

Ellie Mae is all of us who can’t make up their minds! I loved the creativity and ambition this character brought to life. What a fun read!

I loved this picture book that teaches kids it's alright to dream big. And sometimes those dreams do come true.

One of the most fun books that I’ve read. The colors are so bright and immediately pull you in. The illustrations are wonderful and the overall message is creative and inspiring.

This would be a wonderful classroom read aloud to talk about how the students can do and be whoever they want to.

Ellie Mae is such a creative, fun and imaginative kid and I love it! Seeing all her thoughts and ideas was so great, and lovely moral to this story! Kids can be ANYTHING!

I think this book has a place in a classroom, but maybe not for the purpose it would seem on the surface. The MC is extremely creative and is content/courageous enough to be herself, which is, in itself, a good message. This book definitely reads as silly versus inspiring and is sure to bring a laugh. I am not personally a fan of the digital artwork, but they matched the content well. Overall, it's not a book I desire for my home/classroom library, but kids might enjoy.

Ellie-Mae is a creative girl and when her teacher assigns her with a big task she struggles to settle on a singular answer, what does she want to be when she grows up? There are too many ideas that go through her mind.

I adored how imaginative Ellie-Mae was she really let her mind soar and think of some of the most creative unexpected ideas ever, all things that she was interested in, that would give her a fascinating life. I loved that she was allowing herself to dream very big and that the author wrote it this way, allowing her character to be anything at all.

The illustrations worked so wonderfully with the story showing off each and every idea that she came up with and I loved looking at them. The story was so sweet and so full of creativity and imagination, I liked that her teacher was supportive of her choice also.

This is a book that children would really enjoy, it’s so full of imagination, showing that they can really be anything they dream of being. I enjoyed reading this and looking at her unusual but very fun dreams.

This book was pretty cute. The illustrations were adorable and the story was pretty good. I won't use it as a read aloud book, but it could be a good independent reading book.

The story follows Ellie Mae and how she loves most things about school…unless she’s faced with too many choices. Her teacher tells the class to think about what they want to be when they grow up. We’re then transported into Ellie Mae’s mind as she thinks of all the different things she could be that would be different! My kids LOVED all the different careers Ellie Mae thought of. They laughed so hard about the candy farmer and astronaut chef! The graphics are captivating and silly.

A cute book! It is the more recent trend of digital art which I don’t enjoy as much for picture books, but still a cute book with a cute message!

This is a fun book that both my son and I enjoyed. He especially loved the pirate dentist. This book is a great way to help encourage children’s imaginations. The illustrations are colorful and engaging. The text is easy to understand. Definitely a fun book for young imaginations.
