I LOVED this book – it was additive and had me well and truly hooked!

The story was very well written, and I loved the author’s writing style. The pace of the book was perfect and the length of the chapters was spot on, it really encourage the side of me that always thinks, I will just read one more chapter!

The way that the story was told from the different viewpoints was great, I loved the mix of characters and their different personalities and how they all worked together, and the ending was perfect – an unexpected twist!!

This was one that had me turning the pages in to the early hours and I had to find out how it would all end – I really enjoyed it all from start to finish!

It is 5 stars from me for this one – very highly recommended!

Another great book by Nicole Trope, with an unexpected twist that wasn't expected. Highly recommend. I shall look forward to her next one.

I love this author and have absolutely adored every single one of her addictive and gripping books. This one was no different. One of my best reads this year - just wow! Loved it so much. Highly recommend this one.

More like 3.75 stars.
Engaging but predictable, even the twist at the end.
I struggled with Athena the most, mostly due to her meek nature and not much guilt for sleeping with a married man.
I received a copy via NetGalley and all opinions are my own.

The Truth about the Accident starts right away with the accident. I found this to be a quick and entertaining read. I wanted to know what really happened. A man has been hit and we learn about him from 3 women, his wife, therapist and girlfriend. I was kept guessing until the end. I recommend this entertaining book that will keep you guessing until the end.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Well that was another outstanding read from one of my favourite authors Nicole Trope.

It was a great storyline, plenty of intense moments, twisty dialogues from characters making you wonder what the characters are hiding or not being completely honest about, certainly had me sitting on the edge of my seat in eager anticipation of what might happen next that’s for sure.

I liked how the story was told from three different character viewpoints, as always gives depth and something more to the overall story.

There was the ultimate twist come the end but it wasn’t a surprise as I had kind of guessed it was coming, not that it ruined the story for me in any way.

The whole story was thoroughly well written and kept me engaged, entertained and captivated from start to finish.

I received a free copy from Netgalley to review here is the blurb

""I gaze at my husband’s once handsome face, so still and pale in the hospital bed. The doctors say I should keep talking. He might be able to hear me even after the terrible accident that left him fighting for his life. But all I have to whisper to my husband is this: I know what you did.

Every day I wave my husband Damon off with a kiss and a smile, drive our precious children to school, and make sure our house is pristine before preparing a delicious meal. I pretend I’m not filled with fury that he once nearly destroyed our perfect life. It’s important to carry on as normal.

That is, until the accident.
My husband was hit by a car. It was pouring with rain. Nobody saw what happened. But the police are asking questions…
Do they know about the terrible argument we had that day?
Do they know about the text message I sent, telling someone to Delete everything?
And do they know that no one is happier that my husband is in a hospital bed, than me?"

I think ideally I would have given this 3.5 stars. It kept me motivated enough to keep reading till the end and I quite enjoyed it but I didn't love it. To be honest I found the character Athena just annoyed me because of how she let Damon treat her.

This was a quick and easy read. Domestic thrillers are my favorite so one about a cheating husband, sign me up! The beginning was a great. The readers got to know the characters and formulate their own predictions. The middle is when everything clicked and it was fun to see how they’re all intertwined. The ending was interesting. I didn’t like the twist but I cant really see how it could end any other way. Overall, it was a good popcorn thriller.

I found The Truth about the Accident to be a fast paced, unputdownable thriller that had me gripped with lots of unexpected twists and turns. Highly recommend it.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for my ARC.

Thank you to the publisher and to netgalley for an advance e-copy of this book.

This story follows three women's POVs after an accident involving a man who they are all seemingly linked to.

It is a fast read and keeps you hooked as you find out more about the women's lives on the days surrounding the accident,

There are some reveals along the way, and while not shocking, really pushed the story along and kept me interested.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read a copy of this book. Marla is married to Damon; however, Damon isn't as committed to the relationship as Marla. Damon gets hit by a car in the pouring rain and is now in a coma. The story focuses on his wife and two mistresses and trying to figure out who hit Damon. I thought this book was a bit drawn out but it was an alright read; I didn't hate reading it, I just wished it move things along a little quicker. The ending was pretty good I must say, so I can't complain there. Overall a decent read, not too complicated. I would give this book 3.5 stars but rounded up to 4.

I wanted to love this book but as much as I tried I just couldn’t. Convoluted plot and flat characters.

I have loved Nicole Trope's previous books and expected to enjoy this one too but I found it to be a very slow confusing start. It didnt really improve although the ending was a surprise. A readable story but not one of this author's best work, in my opinion.
Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC

The premise of this book drew me to start it. Three women that are somehow all connected to each other via a man. The book had lots of potential however the execution of the book was slow at times and seemed to drag on. The characters lacked development and without that, it seemed pretty boring. The ending of the book was sudden and perhaps not in a good way. I guess for dramatic purposes, the ending was what it was but it lacked the twists and turns when compared to other psychological thriller books.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the ARC!!!!

I could not get into this book at all. I wanted to love it. The premise is exciting and intriguing. I thought it was going to be like "My Husband's Secret" or "Big Little Lies" and maybe it could have been if I had not DNF'ed it. I liked the multiple POVs however I did not care about a single person in the book. None of the women really grabbed my attention and made me want to read more. Sometimes the author would put in a little bate and the end of a chapter to make you wanna come back but then I would have to drag myself through two other women.

I hate writing reviews like this because I want to enjoy all the books I get to read but this one just wasn't my jam. And maybe it could have gotten better I gave up a little under halfway but I just couldn't drag myself through any longer.

Thank you, NetGalley for letting me review "The Truth About the Accident". This review is my opinion and my opinion alone.
