I am a massive fan of Jaimie Admans and this was one of those rare reads where 5* just isn't enough!

I was instantly captured by the magic of Ever After Street the same way I've been captured by this authors books before and despite being mega busy, I've been picking it up to read at every opportunity.

I genuinely wish this story could have gone on forever as the story was magic from beginning to end and I absolutely loved it.

Thank you to Boldwood Books and NetGalley for an ARC of this book, in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book was truly a delight to read. More sweet and cozy than watching a Hallmark movie. It definitely was a retelling of Cinderella but with different aspects, and I loved every minute of it.

Sadie works at the Cinderella Shop sewing dresses for her Aunt, after her parents are killed in a car crash. The shop was always supposed to be handed over to her, but her Aunt Ebony refuses to hand it over. One night Sadie decides to do something for herself and heads to the ball at the Castle in a mask, and beautiful gown she’s sewn. She meets her very own Prince Charming Witt, but flees at midnight and expects to never see him again. But the next day he shows up at her shop asking for her help to find the girl he met at the ball. As Sadie helps Witt find this mystery woman, will she be able to keep it a secret that it was actually her?

Such a fun, romantic, and just feel good book. Highly recommend for anyone who loves fairytales, castles, and happily ever afters!

I love Disneyland, but this was HEAVY with the fairytale analogies. It felt like too much for me. I think this would be really cute for a teen who is obsessed with Disney and ready for a romance read though, minus the fact that the main characters are around 35-40 years old.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Pure magic!

Jaimie never fails to write a wonderful love story. Sadie and Witt’s story is no exception. I love the idea of ever after street and while at first I thought it was maybe too similar to the little Christmas shop on nutcracker lane, the characters brought enough differences to make it stand out.

Sadie finds herself caught up in a real life Cinderella story and while you always know the book will have a happy ending Jaimie is great at making you question whether this is the one were they don’t make it!

I loved all the links to Cinderella but Sadie’s story was definitely her own.

I can’t wait to learn more about ever after street.

As someone who grew up loving fairytales and is a sucker for castles and balls, I didn't think twice about wanting to read this book. It's for Disney-loving readers, and perfect for fans of Cinderella and Cinderella retellings. It started out slow and dragged out for me, but in a cozy and careful way. The details in every paragraph help paint out the setting nicely and introduce the characters well. Sadie and Witt are a good match. I've gotta say, I was surprised to know that Sadie is thirty-five. When I started the book, I thought she was in her twenties. At least that was the vibe I got from her.

Everyone needs a fairy tale ending
The shop keepers on Ever After street don’t want the castle to be sold to what they believe is a supermarket as it will ruin the whole area, but what can they do to prevent it ?
A lovely easy feel good story

The shopkeepers of Ever After Street do not wish the nearby Castle to be demolished and turned into a supermarket.

This story is just the sweetest, you must read it! I love all Jaimie Admans books, my favourite up to now was The Little Bookshop of Love Stories but this may well have pipped that one! And I think I’m correct in thinking there will be more to come as it’s part of a new series 🥳 Just a lovely simple story with lovely and kind characters and Witt is the dreamiest and most unassuming man ever! Just curl up and take some time out with this book, you will feel a million dollars after reading it! Thank you so much to Netgalley for an advanced copy xx

Oh Jaimie, what an absolutely, enchanting, fairytale of a story, getting to know all the people on Ever After Street and especially Sadie and Witt, a magical, Cinderella story indeed

This was a lot of fun! The tale follows that of Cinderella, with some twists to make it the author's own. In this story, the readers get to see two sides of the tale: the main character, Sadie's, but also this book's version of the "prince", Witt. I really liked that. There are other reference to Disney movies integrated into this book, which I loved a lot. I enjoyed how creative this author was with this book. An easy, light read when you want to escape it all.

I received this book from Boldwood Books, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review.

This is an enchanting story of family, love, and accepting others as they are.
When Sadie learns that the castle she has loved from afar is to be torn down, she defies her over bearing aunt and pattens the final ball given at the castle. There she meets Witt, and their adventure begins.
I love the characters, the references to fairy tales, and the feel good love story of Sadie and Witt. Recommend for all who believe in happily ever afters.

A combination of Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella plays out in a somewhat-plausible real=world scenario... Our two protagonists are broken in similar ways and find healing in the fantasy of a fairy tale come to life, complete with castles, balls, and a magical forest. There is an evil stepmother or two, plus a colorful cast of supporting characters. Admans always takes the most common of themes and puts her own unique twist on them, bringing something completely fresh!

I am a big fan of Jaimie and have read several of her books. They are all such easy reads, perfect for when you want something lighthearted and uplifting when you are on holiday or travelling. As soon as this appeared on netgalley, I knew I needed to read it.

This story was in Jaimie's usual style and didn't disappoint. The storyline mirrored that of children's fairytale with many a nod to classics such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast and Snow White. The idea behind the story was great, orphaned girl meeting a handsome stranger at a ball in a castle. It left a heartwarming feeling and an attachment to characters that left you wanting more. It was sometimes very unrealistic in the way the characters behaved and spoke, but it is a work of fiction.

The only thing I will say is that if you are familiar with Jaimie's books then this tale is very much identical to her others and therefore quite predictable. I made direct comparisons between this and The Beekeeper at Elderflower Grove, the story was pretty much the same. However, this didn't take away from my enjoyment of it.

All in all, I rate it 4 stars.

A story interwoven with the Disney references and the takle of Cinderella. A whimsical feel good weekend read. Both main characters have their sadness, secrets and finance issues to overcome. Neither are particularily confident and neither and particualrily happy at work, but, a fairy tale meeting, a Cinderella romance and some self evealuation leads them donw the path of true love.

Will they confess all to each other, you will need to read it to find out.
