I'm sorry, but I couldn't get into this book. I think when it comes to animals, I am a little weary of books about them and although this may show what animal abusers deserve, I tried but DNF

A Penetrating and Powerful Topic
Red Rover is part horror and a part mystery book, and it is a book between the relationship of humans and animals. If you really love animals and cannot ever imagine anyone hurting them then you will really enjoy this book as the group called Red Rover impact justice for those people who go out their way to hurt and murder animals.
The book is about a group dedicated to punishing animal abusers with brutal and deadly force, and then a group of FBI agents led by Travis Bennington who is determined to track down the Red Rover killers and their merciless killing spree, The justice enacted is swift and extreme but it certainly is a way to get the people who are so cruel to animals to see and feel how their cruelty impacted and harmed the animals.
I really enjoyed this book as it is a little different and I was rooting for the activists even though it is a penetrating and powerful topic. Thanks to NetGalley and to the publishers of this book for giving me a free advance copy of the book to preview and I am leaving this review voluntarily,

Red Rover
by Loren Skinner Kirk Pocan

This is a hard book to rate and review. It was certainly gruesome. animal activism and vigilante justice? I suppose it is that. I found it just too much of violence.

The writing really made it so it was impossible for me to get into it at all. I kept trying to keep going with it but then I would just hear my brain screaming to put it down and I just couldn't continue with it.
