Easton and his buddies create a dating app for one night stands and he connects with username “Love” with off the charts chemistry but then she disappears. Years later Easton meets Drake and sparks fly just like with “Love”…such chemistry, office romance, second Chance and more…can’t wait for more in this series!

Marni Mann writes amazing fictional men and Easton may be one of the best yet.

Mr. Hook Up centers around Easton who recently came out with a dating app (with the help of some friends that I hope to hear more about later in this series). Easton matches with a mystery girl who is exactly what he needs. When the relationship ends abruptly Easton decides that love is not real.

5 years later, the company is expanding and hires Drake who has experience expanding businesses to new markets. Easton finds himself drawn to Drake but still is hesitant after his past experience.

I loved the banter and relationship building in this novel. The characters were likable and that drives the reader to root for their futures together. I definitely would recommend!

This was a fun one! I haven't picked up a Marni Mann book in awhile and I enjoyed being back in one of her stories.

Easton and his friends have created a dating app called Hooked & he anonymously matches with a girl at 100% compatibility. This is unheard of in the app, so they are eager to explore their connection. After meeting and sharing a steamy one night concealed by masquerade masks, they experience a string of missed connections and can't seem to meet again. Our FMC disables her account and phone shortly thereafter.

Five years pass and fate brings them together again, because he is her new boss. I don't want to spoil anything, so I will leave it at that!

It begins 6 years ago as dating app inventor Easton and his friends get their hook up app off the ground. What begins for Drake and Easton as a casual masked hook up soon turns to texting and then ghosting. Drake is overwhelmed with her new job, relocation and thinks she can't give time to anyone including herself.
Now we fast forward to present and the men have more than made a name for themselves in business and the app is changing and growing. They need a global tech wizard and Drake is just the guy for the job but on the first face to face they soon realize that he is she. She is brilliant, savvy, and can hack with more than the best. She is a force in the tech industry to be reckoned with. Easton and Drake soon find themselves dancing around the familiarity of one another. When Drake finally connects the dots, she needs to dig back into her old dating profile and reconnect. This couple had sizzle, chemistry, great banter and when they finally come back together, they are soon heating up the tech world and their private lives.

This is an electrifying romance that had me hooked from the start. Easton and Love's initial encounter on the hook-up app was sizzling, with their witty banter and explosive chemistry making every interaction utterly captivating. Despite their no-strings-attached agreement, emotions run high, leaving me on the edge of my seat. The story's unique backdrop of a dating app development added an exciting modern twist, and Mann's writing skillfully brought the Boston setting to life. Years later, Easton and Drake's reconnection was heartwarming and steamy, making it impossible to put the book down. The secondary characters added depth and intrigue, and I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment in the Hooked series. Mann's storytelling prowess shines in this tale of love, desire, and second chances.

Honestly, I devoured ‘Mr Hook-Up’. At first, when I read the book description, I wasn’t sure if this was a book for me. I mean I love Marni Mann, but I’m not always a big fan of books that are more erotic than romantic. And this book title made me think this book wouldn’t have a lot of romance. Luckily I was so wrong. Easton is supposed be a bit of a womanizer, but from the moment he starts talking with Love he changes. And I loved how easily he was swept away.

‘Mr Hook-Up’ had a fun twist I expected, but didn’t love any less because of it. The chemistry between the two main characters was amazing and I loved everything about them. Especially Easton’s character made me swoon. He was just so nice, fun and manly. Sigh.. And the best thing about this book.. no 3rd act breakup.

I also loved how Drake was such a strong, high educated woman. I loved how much she loved her job and how hard she worked to get where she was. Her past choices might have been heartbreaking, but in the end it was the best thing for her and I loved that it wasn’t all perfect.

‘Mr Hook-Up’ was a wonderful read I read in a day. I loved the two main characters and I also can’t wait to read the other books in this series. Easton has two best friends that will make for some great books.

I really loved all the vibes in this book. The first connections between the hero and heroine were so fresh and brought such a fun dynamic to their romance! They meet on a hook-up dating app but they mesh so well together that they continue talking. Their connection was easy-going right from the start, but in true romance fashion something gets in the way.

Cue the second-chance romance! There's something about the way these two just *connect* that really sang to me. Her backstory came out more and more as the story progressed and it endeared me to her. And the hero? He's so smitten with the heroine, but my God, he's a dirty dirty man! Marni can write a sexy scene that makes me both swoon and blush! Highly recommend this one, especially if you've loved this authors recent contemporary romances.

I loved the playfulness in this book and the pull the characters had for each other. It was a little too insta-love for me. I like my books to have some build up and angst. I did find myself giggling a lot during this book. And thoroughly enjoyed the attraction and chemistry Easton and Drake had plus the added second chance romance which is of course one of my favs. Finally a romance that didn’t have that miscommunication/going back and forth to each and I completely appreciated that! Highly recommend and can’t wait to read more from Marni.

I've been looking forward to this story/series since we first heard of their app in The Dalton Family series. Easton, the Hero in this story, and his roommates, Grayson and Holden, create an app while they're still at Harvard, to meet their ahem "physical" needs. Easton tested their product and found an unheard of match of 100%. Their chemistry is off the charts when they finally meet, but unfortunately, timing isn't perfect for them to continue something that was supposed to be temporary. Fast forwarding 5 years, when the app is a huge success, and the guys need to hire someone to help them manage their growth. In walks our heroine, Drake, who is perfect for the job. Because they were masked and no real names were shared, Easton and Drake don't realize they shared a hook-up back in college.
This story was a refreshing romance since there were no extreme conflict swings, and both main characters, though not perfect, were perfect for each other! Can't wait to read Grayson and Holden's stories!

I really liked this book. I didn't expect that the first half of the book was in his POV. I read it in a few days and the characters have my heart. Love that it was fast-paced.

I wound up DNFing this book unfortunately. The writing wasn't for me and I felt like the plot was too weak to keep me intrigued.

This is going to be fun. A Hook-up app that makes all the connections. Three friends in different stages of life heading up this company. Yeah, we are definitely going to have some fun.

First up, is Easton- the man behind the idea. Looking for everything Hooked has been created for and getting The Perfect match instead. But this story is just starting and Easton's ever after isn't quite that pretty...or quick.

Marni Mann makes us ache for him. Both heart and body. 😘😉

This is Book 1 in the Hooked Series by this author. It is a second chance romance between Easton and Drake, who had a one night stand five years ago. These flawed characters and the unique plot make for an entertaining read. Once they reconnect, their sizzling chemistry and strong connection are undeniable as they navigate the bumpy road to their forever after. It is a love story with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters to keep the reader interested. An engaging page turner.

Marni you’ve done it again, another series that has me hooked!

This book follows Easton and Drake. Easton is one of the owners who created a dating app named “Hooked” and Drake is someone he meets through the app.

Sparks fly but Drake decides to end it and lose contact with Easton. Fast forward a few years later, they reunite as she is hired to work for his company.

I started this and just couldn't get into it.... it felt a little cringe and kind of crass? I love some smut but for some reason this just wasn't hitting the mark.

A great start to a new series. I enjoyed going on Easton & Drake’s journey. I loved watching them find their own happily ever after.

I can’t wait to revisit these characters and their world.

I’m calling it! This is absolutely 100% my new fave Marni book. It was sweet, it was sexy, it was swoony, it was EVERYTHING. I loved everything about it.

The connection between Drake and Easton was written absolutely perfect. It was SO dang refreshing to see an honest and open relationship between two characters.

Easton - that MAN is the swooniest man ever but will also bring you to your knees (literally and figuratively) with his dirty mouth 🤭

This book also ties into The Intern so it was nice to see my man Declan 🥰🥰

This book was a 4.5⭐️ for sure! The writing was amazing and the character development was perfect! The spice was so good too! This is definitely a must read.

I’ve read almost all of Marni’s books especially her erotic romances. But I gotta say that this book has to be the steamiest one that I’ve ever read from her. From the very first page, I was hooked to this story. Mr. Hook-up had everything that I love about Marni’s books and yet so much more!

Not only was the spice in this book top notch, it was also a romantic second chance romance. I loved the chemistry and connection between Easton and Drake. They were such a perfect match that I couldn’t get enough of their story. Not to mention, Easton deserves to be on the list for one of the best book boyfriends. You can’t help in falling in love with him. The other thing that I really enjoyed about this book was the supporting characters and friendships in this book. I’m already excited to read more of this series. Mr. Hook-up was the perfect kick off to this new series and is a book that should be on everyone’s tbr!

Oh! My! Word! I am so in love! My ovaries were not prepared for Easton Jones!!! This was kicking my feet up in the air, giggling, moaning and screaming in my pillow, type of read. At times I found myself closing my eyes to savor the delicious moments reveling in their soulmate connection. I was HOOKED by Mr Hook-Up, from the beginning and if you like dirty talking, sexy as sin, alpha, hotties, this is the book for you.

The plot! The characters! The tension! The SPICE! Perfection! Perfection! Perfection!

This was Easton Jones and Drake Madden’s story. It was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. It was seductive, passionate, alluring, sexy, angsty, littered with heat, full of sweet and funny moments, and completely consuming. I loved every moment when these two were together! I couldn’t drag myself away from it.

Be ready to Swoon!!! Easton and Drake are FIRE together! Mr Hook-Up was pure perfection. This truly is one of the best stories I’ve read in 2023!
