Wow what an incredible book to explain a tough concept! Clive Gifford delivers with his trademark detailed and interesting illustrations, this is a book to poor over for hours. I will definitely be adding this book to my elementary school library, and give it to my son who is a budding horologist!

Some magnificent history and fun facts. It is perfect for literally anyone. It doesn’t have to be just a child interested in history or anything. Anyone would find these so cool and the pictures and graphics are excellent!

Hey hey hey! This book really makes me nostalgic about my childhood time!

This book is about time.... Time in earth or other planets. It's narrated in enjoyable way, with cute ilustrations, to make reader understand the points easier.

It really suits to parents who want to introduce general knowledge to their kid(s). Also any elementary schools could add this book to their library!

'The Book of Time' is a phenomenal book that you will pick up over and over again.

First off, this book is stunning. The illustrations are gorgeous, well thought out and engaging for the younger readers. The layout is easy to follow and it flows together beautifully.

The information packed into this single book is extraordinary. As a homeschooling parent this book is a gold mine of information and resources that have already sparked so many lines of research and enquiry from our children.
If you have a question regarding time I can assure you, its most certainly in this book.

This isn't a book you read once. This is a book you display and pick up over and over and absorb.
It's a book I can see my mathematically minded child browsing on a lazy Sunday afternoon before talking our ear off at the dinner table.

I was gifted a digital copy of 'The Book of Time' in exchange for a fair and honest review. This is a book that I will be purchasing.
Thank you Netgalley and Quarto Publishing

A very interesting read about the concept of time and how humanity learned to deal with it. It's a greatly illustrated book packed with fun facts and information. The format is fun and entertaining, but not the best to navigate digitally. I think it would work best in a paper-based format, given the different sizes and the way the content is spread.

This book is a lot of fun. I was drawn in right from the title page with this question, "How long did a day last in the time of the dinosaurs? Discover the answer on page 16." I think young readers will enjoy flipping though this book. It's full of so much information that I can see people reading it over and over again. The illustrations are engaging and do a good job illustrating tough concepts, like the Big Bang, and interesting landmarks, like Stonehenge and Chankillo. I would recommend it for public and school libraries.
