I'm interested to see where this series goes but I will admit that I found volume one to be far more gripping than this book.

Aye-yai-yai!

This is just as confounding and disturbing as the first volume. I'm horrified at the thought of how long I may have to wait to find out what happens next.

I absolutely love this series! In this volume we learn a lot more about what is going on but I still have so many questions!! I highly recommend this series if you are looking for some creepy the-government-is-watching-us type of book. Can't wait to see what happens next!

The second volume of "Everything is Fine" picks up immediately after the events of Volume One. Sam and Maggie are a perfectly ordinary couple who live in a regular neighborhood. Everything looks the same. Everyone looks the same. No one is different. Everything is fine. However, Maggie is beginning to rebel quietly since she knows what happens to those who defy their society's "natural" order.

While I still don't know what exactly is going on, I am invested to find out. The comic's dystopian society reminds me of a creepier and eerier version of "The Lego Movie"'s "Everything is Awesome" and NBC's "The Good Place." World-building is mostly conveyed through actions, showing how cruel this "perfect" society is. While the first volume did not shy away from the more violent aspects of the story, it was nothing compared to this volume. After reading, I need to know: Who's in charge? Where are the children? What's up with the masks? How does red status work exactly? I need to figure out how to continue reading this on WEBTOON. I'm recommending this to my college students who are into horror.

"Everything Is Fine Volume Two" comes out October 17, 2023.

I enjoy this series, but I am not sure if it is something that would circulate well with teens for my library.

This is really interesting, I like how cute & happy the colors are, but the theme betrays you. You may think that the characters are cutesy and lovable but there's a hint of something strange like why do they have Cat heads? I'm really surprised I only knew about this now, since I'm also a manga & manhwa reader.

I love this webcomic so much, so seeing it in print (or "print" since I'm reading an ebook of it) is so satisfying. As always, the plot is intruiging and keeps me on my toes. Can't wait for the next one.

A great continuation of the story, just as good as the first. I'm dying to see what happens next but it's okay, I'm sure everything is fine.

The plot thickens as Sam and Maggie construct a devious plan to deal with the murder of Officer Tom. Unlike most graphic novels, the facial expressions of the characters never change. Each character displays a pleasant smile on an overly large cat head even during the most gruesome scenes. Scattered clues hint at a traumatic backstory as Sam and Maggie are propelled into the unknown. What changes are in store? Mike Birchall is adept at bringing the story forward and backward at the same time.

Thank you to NetGalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, WEBTOON Unscrolled for sending this book for review consideration.

Story:
You can't just leave me on that kind of a cliff hanger!?!?!

Seriously, the book felt a little anti-climatic (hence the four stars), but that ending really punched you in the face. Almost like riding a wave and crashing head first, we rode the continual wave from volume 1, but then got caught and flipped. Leaving you only wanting more of this dystopian world.

Art:
As before, the art is stunning, and the little glimpses of humanity behind the mask leaves you wondering... what do they look like when fully unmasked?

Overall:
Fully worth the time and energy to read. I heavily suggest checking it out!

I've been dying to get my hands on this volume right after finishing the first one. I walked around with my trusty hammer hoping that someone knew where to get that second volume. Then it happened, an email changed my life and here we are... but now I need the next volume. You can't just leave us in the lurch like this!

I thought that you couldn't get more disturbing than the first one and then I read this one. I was so wrong and I'm glowing with evil excitement. With an evil grin on my face and pure delight in my eyes, I read this a second time and it made my pure black heart burst. I loved this volume.

Yet again, who has to meet the hammer for me to get more of this series?

I received an advanced copy from Netgalley.

This books has got me and I need answers! The plot is very captivating, the characters are interesting. The physical wearing of a mask to help create a facade that things are fine do not make it so. This monitored community has a plethora of problems. Great graphic thriller that keeps you feeling uneasy yet wanting more!

I read an ARC through Netgalley and was impressed by the paranoid tension of this story. The Sanrio-esque dehumanization of all the characters was unsettling. While I haven’t read Volume 1, I was able to pick up the thread of the story fairly quickly.

I loved this volume. Super creepy and suspenseful with some sort of answers and more questions about what is actually happening.

The suspense is ever growing and so is my focus on reading this book series! The second volume was even better than the first and I cannot wait until I find out how everything ends. All the plot twists has me twisted into bundles. I need more!

I've been engrossed in this series on Webtoons for quite some time now, and I eagerly anticipate the moment I can add physical copies to my prized collection. This graphic novel series is nothing short of phenomenal – it's bone-chilling, hair-raising, and wonderfully unsettling all at the same time.

Mike Birchall, the creator, is a true virtuoso, effortlessly crafting adorable characters that stand in stark contrast to the genuinely horrifying scenarios and settings they're plunged into. The juxtaposition is not only striking but also deeply engaging.

As a fervent fan, I can't help but look forward to the spine-tingling twists and turns that lay ahead in this masterful series. Reading Birchall's work is an electrifying journey that continues to exceed my expectations at every turn.

Thank you, Netgalley and publisher for this advanced copy.

In Everything is Fine volume 2...It wasn't fine at all.
As always, this series has always been my favorite series on webtoon, the combination of dysfunctional society, psychological, and thriller was the best!! And the most horror was the art style. The art style was so cute, but the story was dark. Love that idea!!

I didn't know this book existed until I stumbled across volume 1 in a grocery store and bought it on a whim. I am so glad I did because I loved the first volume. I couldn't get enough of this story. Its so eery and just down right unnerving. This book gave me similar vibes to Don't Worry Darling but this is so much better. The mystery that holds these series together make you desperate to keep reading and thats just as true of this second volume. Birchhall does an outstanding job of giving you just enough to keep you on a hook. I can not wait to get more volumes of this so I can get more information about this creepy society!

A creepy and ominous story where nothing is as perfect as it seems. I liked how the drawings were sweet and innocent, but the story was anything but. Can’t wait for the next volume.

I am so confused by this, but also very much want to read the next volume to find out more. I thought I was starting to understand the story in the beginning of this volume and then it just got confusing again.
