Such a fun title~! I'm quite a slow reader, but every page was a certified good time. Loved the art and characters!

I have been reading this on Webtoon for a few years, so it was really great to read it all together in one volume (at least the first 55 episodes). Set up in a short style the story is cute and silly and very low stakes. But it's so easy to fall in love with these boys as they navigate their relationships.

This is an absolutely adorable collection of stories. I love how cutesy and fluffy the romances are described.

This saccharine sweet book is full of wholesome green flags for polyamorous relationships. The boys in question do not have names, but those are unnecessary in the context. The art is adorable, the story is cozy, and the characters are loveable. There is nothing deep or philosophical, but there doesn't have to be for this book to be an all-around good time for readers.

I'd like to give it more stars but honestly I couldn't read through the watermarks that covered the text ^^"

The story didn't hook me or captivate me. I was really looking for more story. It left me wanting so much more.

This book made my heart hurt because it was sooo wholesome and sweet and cute!! And had its little sweet and spicy moments.

I went into this book very curious to see how this polyamorous group would function. I thought Refrainbow approached the formation and rules of dynamic with a very thoughtful and thorough hand.

I love the bright colour palette, and art. It was so cheerful! The boys interactions with each other were all so sweet. I loved getting to know all the little quirks and personality traits within each boy. I especially loved Jock’s love of K-Pop choreo. A man after my own heart.

My only concern with this series is longevity and repetition. There is very little plot and it barely gets advanced. This series is like a collection of fluffy moments. Which is good and sweet but I don’t see myself sticking around for a second volume.

This was such a cute read depicting a great start to a poly relationship. I found that all of the characters were given a focus in this volume, and each boy had a great relationship with each other that didn't feel repetitive. Will definitely be keeping my eye out for the next volume.

Boyfriends is the inclusive, diverse, polyamory comic full of humor and spice that I never knew I needed until I was reading it!

Jock, Goth, Nerd, and Prep had my whole heart from the first pages, while also making me cackle at their shenanigans. They're all adorably awkward in their own ways and it's fun to watch them fall for each other while at the same time expressing their different gender, romantic, and sexual preferences.

I can't wait to see how their story continues!

I’m a fan of the comic. I love the art style and each of the characters has a unique and cute dynamic with each other. Goth is obviously my favorite but like who doesn’t love him? A very sweet introduction to polyamorous relationships.

This is a really cute comic about one polycule's introduction to polyamory. The collage boys in this graphic novel start as two couples (and one member of each couple also live as roommates). They quickly all realize they are romantically interested in each other, however no one has been in a polyamorous relationship before so they find themselves feeling it out and learning together.

It's really great to see loving, cooperative, non-monogamous representation. I enjoyed this graphic novel a lot and can't wait to read volume 2.

I received an eARC of this title through NetGalley in return for an honest review.

I felt like meh about this.

I think I was not expecting short vignettes that were all connected. It’s not a bad read and the art style is cute. About 3/4 of the way through, I started just scrolling/skim reading because there was no real content. I like a bit more story and a little less vignettes story telling.

I had not read the WEBTOON or know anything else about this title other than through this advanced review copy I was allowed to read.

Definitely a different take for queer romance in graphic novel format. I loved the polar opposite personalities of the boys and how they represented different themes that the book tackles. It was a cute read and I'm happy that polyamorous relationships are being brought up in more positive and healthy representations.

Boyfriends was a cute and straightforward graphic novel. I knew the general idea from the popular webcomic, but I decided to try this condensed format. Unfortunately, the ARC had such a heavy watermark that it greatly hindered my reading ability, often obscuring the text. I eventually gave up and went to Webtoon to read the comic. I have read several ARCs of graphic novels with watermark styles that don't detract from the story. I understand that the published format won't have the watermark. Still, my low rating is for the ARC being an unpleasant reading experience overall - I have given the comic itself positive engagement through Webtoon. Especially with the content being easily available online, I don't see a reason for the ARC's formatting to have created this negative reading experience.

I love this series so much and was so excited to see that it is getting a physicals release. This series has not only a fun storyline, but loveable characters and the prettiest art ever. I cannot wait to see more of this series.

Thank you to NetGalley and WEBTOON for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first representation I've ever read of a polyamorous Achillean romance. It is so sweet and funny. The art, and specifically the colors, are great. I immediately went on Webtoon and continued reading issues. I like that none of the characters have names, and they represent different stereotypes. It's a fun little way to make sure that people can feel very seen.

This was such a pleasant surprise! I went into this blindly and was happy to find out it’s a polyam relationship between 4 guys in college. I thought the art was super cute, and enjoyed the way it was written in short chapters. I had a lot of fun reading this one!

This graphic novel is cuteness to the max! The four characters remain unnamed but each shines with personality, style, and their own approach to intimacy and being in a polycule. They also represent a diverse intersection of sexuality and gender: gay, bi, pan, ace, and trans. So many of the chapters made me laugh out loud, like the preppy guy being so oblivious to the others flirting with him. Much like a cute romcom anime, the chapters put the boyfriends into different kinds of situations: group date at an amusement park, emergency study session, shopping, and an iconic beach episode. This is definitely a light, fluffy, feel good comic that's sure to make you smile!

Boyfriends is a very cute slice of life comic about four cute poly boyfriends living their life, getting together, liking each other more and more. I'm excited to see where this goes.
