The Life of Jesus by Andrea Tornielli is a book that's been translated from the Italian version (Vita di Gesú) by Bernadette Mary Reis, FSP. It includes an intro by Pope Francis along with his commentary interspersed throughout the stories.

I can appreciate different religions but grew up Catholic. My husband grew up Presbyterian and we don't currently go to church but I cycle back to Catholicism because it's familiar and comfortable. Apps like Hallow and Amen help to stay connected. So, anyway, it was nice to read the Pope's commentaries sprinkled in and imagine him talking about those things.

This book was thoughtful and easy to read. It would be a good resource for anyone who wants to dive deeper into the life and teachings of Jesus, offering a fresh perspective on the messages of love, mercy, and redemption.
