This one was fun and it was entertaining to follow the mystery of why they were having so much trouble.

But I felt really weird about how the author described Lula. She seemed like a caricature and seemed to be the comic relief. And how Stephanie was kind of sort of cheating on one man with another that she has a bit of a relationship with? Kind of messy.

But I’m dropping in at book 30 in a series I have ever read before. Maybe it’s better if you’re a fan of the series!

Stephanie Plum, the bounty hunter. I just love her!
Stephanie is asked to a side job, find the missing security guard for a local jewel that was rob, seems simple enough. Morelli (boyfriend) is out of town, so she also gets to dog sit Bob, who will eat anything in sight.
And of course, there is Lula, and Grandma Mazur
Perfect read!

What a fun read! I think that this one might be my favourite of the Stephanie Plum series. I loved all the references to the FTA characters that were key in previous books. I don’t think they went to the Clucky Chicken even once in this book- there were a bunch of new food spots that Lula suggested. I enjoy how Evanovich writes; the Stephanie Plum books always make me giggle. I’m looking forward to finding out just what Stephanie’s next move will be.
Thank You to NetGalley, Simon & Schuster Canada and Janet Evanovich for the opportunity to read and enjoy this ARC.

Full of all the laughs and the outrageous cast of side characters we've come to know and love from the Stephanie Plum series. I keep hoping for something to finally happen decisively one way or another between Morelli or Ranger but this love triangle is apparently never ending but at least now Stephanie has a HUGE choice to make after the cliffhanger ending in this latest book!

Recommended for die hard fans of the series or anyone who wants a good laugh (I especially enjoyed the car chase with Stephanie, her grandma and her mother at the wheel!). Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy in exchange for my honest review! The list of the top fan favorite quotes from all the books included at the end was also a lot of fun!

Stephanie works for Vince, her bail bondsman cousin, and Lulu, a former 'ho, works with her. They have people they have to track down who didn't show up for their court date, including Duncan who was arrested for robbing a jewelry store and has disappeared. Coincidentally, Stephanie is hired by the owner of the jewelry store to find Andy, an ex-employee, who he is accusing of stealing more jewelry during the confusion of the first robbery. During this, Morelli, her longtime boyfriend who is a police officer, is out of town and she's taking care of Bob, his huge dog. So she has to depend on Ranger, her former colleague, who is more than happy to help her ... but is she willing to pay the price?

This is the 30th in the Stephanie Plum series and I've read them all. They are mindless familiar quick reads. As in previous books, Evanovich continues to follow her formula:

* Though dating long time boyfriend, Morelli, she is lusting after both Joe and Ranger ... check
* Lulu talks about food all the time and eating lots ... check
* Lulu gets mad when people insult her about her weight ... check
* Stephanie goes home to mooch meals from her parents ... check
* Ranger calls Stephanie "Babe" and just wants to have sex with her ... check
* Stephanie's car explodes or gets totalled ... check
* Lulu says "on account of" about a million times ... check

This book was okay. I would have liked it better without Lulu thinking she is being tormented by an ogre, which was a ridiculous side story. It's written in first person perspective from Stephanie's point of view. Stephanie is still torn between Morelli and Ranger ... she feels that she loves both Morelli and Ranger and there appears to be the possibility of a resolution at the end of the book (a cliffhanger?). As a head's up, there is swearing.

Another rollicking adventure with Stephanie and her crew.
Humor and mystery abound.
You are always guaranteed a fun read with this series.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I liked this. It was entertaining. It was fun, and had mystery and adventure. But it was also very forgettable.

I didn’t fall in love with any of the main characters, Ranger is by far my favourite minis every time he says babe, and the chapters were long so I felt like it was dragging.

Overall, it was an easy read but not compelling enough to have me read the other 29 books in the series.

This is the 30th in the Stephanie Plum series. It was very typical of the previous books - Stephanie is catching FTAs, getting into dicey situations, and torn between Ranger and Morelli. A quick and entertaining read.

If you are new to Stephanie Plum the first half of Dirty Thirty is filled with character development from the previous 29 books. For those of us who have been reading Plum for the past 2 decades it is a refresher of scenes we have enjoyed. The rest of Dirty Thirty is chasing FTAs (Failure To Appear) cases and Stephanie & Lula have improved their capture methods. The age old "Morelli vs. Ranger" now has a twist we hope will conclude in book 31 or 32, or 35 :) BIG SMILE

I just love it! Dirty Thirty is the 30th book of the series and it doesnt disappoint. Stephanie Plum, is hired by a jewler to find the suspected thieves from a jewlery store robbery. With the help of Lula, Bob the dog and some from Ranger as well as random friends along the way, they embark on the twisty, turny adventures where if anything can go wrong will go wrong!
The characters in this series are so lovable, enjoyable and just plain funny it makes it so hard to put the book down. While you could be able to pick up this book and enjoy it on its own, i highly recommend going to the begining of the series and reading them all. The capers are just feel good funny, and the characters just keep the laughs rolling. I cannot wait for the next book!

Thank you to Janet Evanobich, Simon & shuster as well as NetGalley for the ARC!
