As a mental health coach, I incorporate Mindful Awareness into my practice. When I came across this devotional, it piqued my interest.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but overall, I found it appealing. The author highlights that out of our 50,000 daily thoughts, approximately 80% tend to be negative. The author offers are brief readings, including passages from various translations, a devotional reflection, and a concluding prayer. Most of these readings take less than 5 minutes.

For instance, one of the prayers goes like this: "Lord, I pray with all my heart, mind, and soul that You would strengthen my hands and enlighten my spirit so I can do the work You have created me to do. Thank You, Lord."

The only minor concern I have is the author's occasional use of The Message for the opening scripture.

I would recommend this book to women seeking to establish a habit of studying through short, encouraging, and straightforward devotionals.
