Cute rhyming text, and bold, bright graphics by Gareth Williams make this a fun book for the youngest listeners. I've not found too many board books that celebrate dear old dad, so this should be a must for every library's collection.

This book is so cute! I love all the puns. They make this book so enjoyable. How fun this would be to read with a dad that’s into tools. Cute illustrations too!!

This book was very cute. Lots of puns and would be great for Father’s Day!

Absolutely adorable. This book is perfect for Father’s day or just an I love you daddy moment. WE really enjoyed this fun book. It's full of fun cute puns, right up there with the Dad jokes we all love. Our favs were “I may drive you nuts with what I do or say” and “you teach me to be bolt and brave and help at every turn”. The illustrations are simple yet very bright and bold. This book is great for my little ones Daddy who is a mechanic, seems even more personal to him. We received this as an ARC but will be definitely gifting to several Dads we know. You are going to love it. Perfect story.

Very punny. My husband is going to love hearing these but they definitely went over my four year olds head 😂

I received a digital ARC via Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for a honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My husband and I read this with my daughter during tummy time. I had him read this as it was meant for Father’s Day. I had loved the cover and I know he loves puns so I was so excited to read this with them.

The tool puns are great! Just the right amount of punny and not overdone. It’s great for both girl and boy dads! It’s super cute. We loved the illustrations. It made my husband tear up a little bit and laugh at some of the puns.

This will definitely be a book I pick up when it releases. This is perfect for Father’s Day. I might even get this for my dad; it’s that good. I highly recommend this book!

This book was adorable! If you have a little one that’s into tools, they will love this book! The puns made it very entertaining for me while I read this aloud to my little one. It’s a great book for father-child bonding, too.

Just in case there's a Father's Day planned this year to sell books for, comes this – a love letter in punning verse from a youngster to their parent. And as all breeding men love DIY, this is from the point of view of junior items of the toolbox, all looking up to their parent article, and expressing adoration and appreciation. So it's as boldly designed and simply written as any under-fives book, it's as cheesy as a bag of old socks, and it's still quaint, daffy fun. The puns get worse as they go along, building to a peak towards the end with their efforts to wrangle more DIY-styled shed contents into things. I mean, a child is probably encouraged to inundate their dad with no end of stuff throughout their school career, from poems to portraits made of pasta, and worse, all of which deserve binning ASAP, but you know what? This option is done well enough that you can't take offence. If you were given this, as a devoted father, I can see it being kept for the sentiment and the comedy. And a lot of gift books are out there that don't universally deserve that.

Another great punny book for kids to express love to others, this time for everyone they might call "Dad"! It is a straight-forward early learning Board Book for babies and toddlers. It would be a great gift for new "Dads" or even those who have been "Dads" forever! It would make a great gift for "Dads" instead of a punny greeting card for Father's Day.
