It is a soft and heartwarming tale of being apart from our loved ones. Join little bear on their adventures across faraway lands and majestic seas. This picture book shows the ways that Mama Bear is sending her love to her child, who is either sailing or flying high with the sea birds. It's beautiful in the ways that love is always there. With colors that splash on each page, vibrant in its hues. A lovely tale.

The illustrations are whimsical, my favorite one was around the campfire. This would definitely be a great gift for a child from a parent or grandparent. The story suggests many ways a hug can be sent, you just have to look for them. In my opinion you might start reading this to your child or grandchild as early as pre school. The story was delightful. I was given an ARC to give an unbiased review. I do recommend this book. It could be read for several years as a reminder to the child in your life of how much you love them and think about them.

This is a very heart warming book. My son misses his grandma often, so this was the perfect book to read with him. It was fun for him to think about all the things he likes to do with his grandma “by his side.” The illustrations are so sweet. Colorful and engaging. This book will definitely become favorite in our house.
