I’ve been reading this author for a while, and I love this spinoff of her other series. This is the second book, and it is a wild ride from beginning to the end. In this latest Mira and Ty are on the hunt for demons, and unfortunately, Mira has to confront her own demons from her past. This was a very engrossing book, as much for Mira’s past as it was for the hunting of demons. We learn about her family, how she ended up where she is now, and maybe why she is who she is. Not only that, but we also learn more about Ty’s past, too, though not quite as much. I am so in love with these characters, and I even love Kira’s demon. I can’t wait to see what’s up with that. This is urban fantasy how it should be, and I can’t wait to read more in this interesting world. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
