This is another one of my favorite series and I look forward to the next book when it releases. The author does a great job of weaving a continuous story throughout all the books, which I really enjoy the character development that has occurred, it makes me feel like I know all of the characters and that they are real.
I'm amazed with all the plot lines that are created and how the author makes it all makes sense at the end, it's really remarkable.
I love this series so much and can't wait until the next one comes out, it's a guaranteed winner!

Marsons is a one click author for me, she never disappoints and I can't wait. for the next book. Each story fascinates me with both the depth of her imagination and the ability to keep the characters vivid and alive. I love Kim Stone and can't wait to see what she gets up to in the next book.

The book is about loyalty and generaly relationship in different groups. It was not an usual book solving a crime mystery and for me it looked less attractive than other same author's books

#BadBlood #NetGalley Book 19 in the series but still as fresh as book 1!! I really love the DI Kim Stone series. She is a strong character with a great team behind her. It can be read as a standalone but if you want to know more about the backgrounds of Kim, Boyd, Penn Stacey etc go back and start at book 1. Fast paced with plenty of action and twists and turns. Another 5 star read from Angela Marsons!

DI Kim Stone series is probably my favorite series with a strong, female detective lead. I am always excited to see a new book come out. Bad Blood is the 19th book in the series and it did not disappoint. It's best to read the previous book because it does reference one of the storylines from it. This story is well put together and makes for dynamic reading. As always, there are so many twists and turns so that you can never figure out the who done it until the very end when it's revealed to all.
I would recommend this whole series to anyone who enjoys mysteries and thrillers.

Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture and Angela Marsons for an ARC of "Bad Blood" in exchange for an honest review.

Followed the Kim Stone series all the way through and loved every book and this one is no exception. I thought the plot was interesting and enjoyed catching up with the different characters lives and finding out how they were getting on. I was particularly interested to see how the Stacey storyline panned out as I love her and Kim's friendship. Looking forward to the next one.

This book picks up two months after the last book. There is an element from it that is brought forward into this one. While reading the previous isn't necessary, readers will likely get a bit more out of this one of they do.

Kim Stone and her team face unique crime scenes this time around. It starts with a person being declared dead only to pop to life again. Though not for long. Sadly, not for long enough for Kim or her team to ask the victim who did this to them.

They soon discover the victim was drugged with a substance that is extremely fatal. But while they are still trying to figure out motive, there's another victim. And if a social media taunt is to be trusted, their killer had no plans of stopping until they take out six targets. But who are they, and where do Kim and her team even start?

It's certainly a race against the clock to piece together all the clues. With a twist you'll never see coming, will Kim or one of her team pay the ultimate price?

Bad Blood is another page-turning addition to a bestselling crime series.

Angela Marsons!!!

Angela Marsons - What can I say? This book #19 in the Kim Stone series is probably my new favourite…but I say that each time I read this author! She just goes from strength to strength and it doesn’t ever get old or tired!
If you love crime fiction with a kick-ass protagonist then start with #1, you won’t be disappointed. 5⭐️s

Book 19 and another great addition to the series! Angela Marsons smashes it every time with these books, I am always guaranteed to enjoy them.
You can read this as a standalone book, so don't be put off if you haven't read any of the previous ones, but you will definitely want to go back and read them all so be warned! And if you have read them it is still great to see the characters develop and how they behave and react with each other over certain situations. It does tie in some things from previous books, but it does explain enough for people who haven't read them.
The story is a great murder mystery and it really keeps you guessing until the very end, it is fast paced and gripping! A must read!

Another episode in the Kim Stone series. I have read others and always enjoyed these books. I liked this one too, though though it was a little overliong. The plot is interesting and quite intricate , lots of food for thought along the way and quite a lot of characters, though it was not difficult to keep track of them all . It might help if you have read others in the series, Kim is a difficult person to get to know and there are some hints in this book, but you might find yourself wondering about her relationships with others in the team.
Great to read, with short chapters and mostly plenty of action . There are several twists, some I`d thought about and discarded, others out of the blue .
Thanks to Net galley for a great read, I look forward to reading more of this series

It's starting to feel like it's not possible for Angela Marsons to write a bad book. This far into a series, you'd think they'd be starting to get predictable and formulaic, but that couldn't be further from the truth. I'm still enjoying every one and I'll still hop on the ride for the next one, whenever that comes out.

OMG. Why I never heard of this series and why I never read any book by Angela Marsons.

It was so so so good that I couldn't put it down. Starting around midnight I was up till 7 in the morning. I just couldn't stop. So deliciously good.

The conversations were funny and totally enjoyable. Kim is snarky but OMG she is so so fun.

This is #19 in DI Kim Stone series. But you can read it stand-alone. But then I'm hopping on the train to read all the previous books from the series coz it was unputdownable.

Thank you so much Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC in exchange of an honest review. Highly recommended.

Some quotes worth mentioning :

The fascination of social media was lost on her. It demanded work, interaction, maintenance. She wasn't the slightest bit interested in what anyone else was doing, and she had no wish to share her own activities.

People need to want to be helped, and if that means breaking habits or putting in effort to change, then forget it.

Our first reaction to crime isn't fear, it's anger. Anger often requires action to neutralise it.

A book or a process is a rigid instrument. Human beings are not. We adapt, we learn, we barter, we bargain. We do what we need to get the job done.

I have read most of the books in this series thus far and there isn't a bad one amongst them! Yes, you can read this book as a standalone but why not do yourself a favour and start reading the series from the beginning? You're welcome :)

Kim finds herself trying to figure out what message the killer is sending, when she finds a person in a very unnatural body position, barely alive. When another person is found, this time definitely dead, and she discovers the link between them, the race is on to find the others who are part of the group. One of her team is getting a little bit TOO involved though and so there are some moral/ethical questions asked in this book as well.

All in all, another cracking read and I can't wait for the next one!

5 stars from me, of course.

Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture.

Brilliant read as usual from Angela Marsons. Loved the story line the characters couldn't put the book down. the build up the interaction between characters was great. I love the interaction between the officers and love finding out more about them in each book written. Kept me in suspense until nearly the end of the book. Angela never disappoints with her books
