This book goes from Spanish to English. There are paragraphs with an explanation in Spanish and then the next page is in English. There are also country flags included for the reader to know where the food/tradition is from.

I'm trying to ensure that my children are bilingual and while my husband's family can help with that, books like Tons of Palabras : Fiestas is a huge help. The colorful pictures that go along with the English and Spanish words allow them to connect the words to the object or idea. Once this book goes live, I'll be purchasing 2 copies. One for my home, and one for the daycare my family runs!

This is a very easy book that teaches kids the Spanish words for different holidays, and holiday themed items. My little one loved it. He was able to recognize the English words by the pictures, and we went over the words in English and Spanish. I love that it gave the names and flags of different Hispanic countries.

Thank you to Netgally and the Publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I really loved this! So many Spanish words, with bright, beautiful pictures. There are words about parties, food, and at the end, you can learn about flags. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this. I think it would be great in preschools, classrooms, and homes.

A cute book that helps teach Spanish words about parties. The words were good and had good pictures accompanying them.

The inclusion of country flags for specific phrases is helpful! For example, la chipa guazu, which doesn't have a direct accurate translation besides like cheesy cornbread, had a Paraguayan flag to denote where the phrase is used. I love that there are educational elements besides learning words, such as describing La Guelaguetza, Inti Rami, and Feria de las Flores.
