This is a pretty good beginner's guide to piano for kids. It does not assume that kids can read music and instead of trying to teach that it uses colored boxes to indicate which note to press. This is at least clear, though kids aren't going to get very far without learning to read music as well. However, when it comes to indicating chords, it uses rainbows with different colored stripes. There are three chords introduced and I found it nearly impossible to differentiate between them. It will lead to unnecessary confusion. The songs themselves are fairly uninspired and dull, although to be fair it's hard to make interesting beginner songs.

Emily Arrow has a talent for teaching music for children. Similar to her Kids ukulele songbook a Kid's Guide to Playing the Piano and Keyboard makes basic music theory and piano skills accessible to younger audience. With playful colors and practice songs this book is organized to make piano a fun experience for any beginner child.
