I will be purchasing this title for my library. It will also be used in my toddler and STEM story times.

Lola has another exciting adventure in this picture book. She goes to visit her mom’s friend who has a colony of bees that she cares for. The bees live on top of a rooftop on the city. Lola learns how the bees live in a hive and what they need to make honey. I love that the story shows that even people in the city can help nature right where they are.

This was such a cute little story teaching about bees. I'm a big bee advocate so I loved being able to teach my 3 year old about bees in a fun way.

This is a super cute, and educational book, about bees for small children.
The pictures go great with the story.
I'd reccomend this for anyone who wants to teach their little ones about bees and the importance of pollination.

Lola and the Bees by Anna McQuinn and Illustrated by Rosalind Beardshaw from Charlesridge Publishing is the ninth book in the Lola Reads series.

Lola is going to learn more about beekeeping from a friend of her mom. She gets to wear a special suit and among other things, discovers some of the special jobs that the different types of bees in a hive have and how bees talk to each other.

My granddaughter and I really enjoyed the illustrations and meeting Lola for the first time.
Her favorite part had to do with special gardens that can be made for bees.

My sister is a beekeeper, and I loved reading this book to my granddaughter and seeing the magic of beekeeping brought to life through such a special book.

A very cute story about Lola who goes to visit a friend who has bees and learns all about them. I love honey and am a supporter of a beekeeper in my community who shares about her hives and the work involved online, and this was a really good book that will hopefully introduce kids to bees in a way that makes them want to learn more, and not be afraid of them. The illustrations were nice and bright and should catch and hold kid's attention as they read this book.

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

A cute book that teaches kids about honeybees! I loved all the info here! The font of this was that one becoming popular recently in children’s books where it doesn’t really look like it brings. That is my one criticism!

Lola meets the bees was so cute and informative. The artwork was really nice. I feel like it was written perfectly for children. It held their attention and they were sad the book was already over. They want to read more Lola books!
