Such a great book!
This is how I imagine a prequel to the Terminator movies. Humanity creates technology to help them with something. Technology starts by heping but when it's upgraded, things start going wrong... And fianlly, we get to Terminator.
I hope to read more from you, specially if this is not a standalone. I would love to know more about Adnan, Kristine, NeuroXPT and RuthX.

A fun read and a new concept to read for me in the form of only dialog. I find the cover art resonates in my mental imaging about the novel and I often drifted back to it in my mental picture. Such an interesting concept and read for this AI inspired novella.

The cover is what drew me in, and I’m so glad I was able to read this. It had a great overall story going through this and that it worked in the scifi genre. The characters worked in this world and story and I enjoyed getting to know them. Z.J. Ryder has a great writing style and can’t wait for more.

This novella is written as a series of dialog lines among employees at an advertising firm who have been implanted with brain chips to make them more effective, their boss (also chipped), their clients, and a glitchy AI that is supposed to make them more efficient but which really seems to be stealing their memories. I didn't care for the format and I don't think that it was an effective way to write this novella. Anyone can write a storyboard.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this book.

Woe! Loved the Articial Intelligence and their incorporation into our future world. So insightful and realistic!

Don't want to give away anything. Predict a best seller, and even a tv series based on the book.

Very futuristic and believable.

Recommend.

ARC Copy...Didn't expect it to be a transcript format narrative but loved it that why. I was honestly excited to follow along and see what corporate conspiracy is going on and ohh will this continue in the sequel?...ending felt like a cliff hanger!
