I like to thank the publisher and NetGalley for a chance at reading this one.

As soon as the book opened with the first chapter, I knew I was going to have an issue. I felt the man was too much of a caricature of Han Solo, with his annoying repeating of 'Princess'. Then you had this issue with his father that wasn't really expanded upon but written in a way that you know the author wasn't going to tell you but wanted to make you care?

Then, the girl, the girl was written too much off like a vapid sex-doll that the guy was already having an issue with but his friends and his conscience was having difficulty with falling in love with.

I also felt the world building and the sci-fi elements were absolutely obsessed with Elon Musk.

So yeah. Gonna pass on this - only made it 15% in and that's usually my stopping point for books if I'm going to DNF them.

This was a strong start to the Orbital Space series, it had everything that I wanted from the description. The characters worked well overall and it had a great scifi/space feel to it. I enjoyed how well the story worked and left me wanting to read more in this series.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this book.

First off, I am not a huge sci-fi reader so this one was not my typical read, but I found myself enjoying the ride.

I think the added romance might have been the plus that pulled me in.

I enjoyed the plot, action, the characters and the spicy romance.

Recomnend.
