This was entertaining. It was definitely more romance centered than Dom/sub centered, not that that bothered me since I am a romance reader, no matter the subgenre. However, there were moments where I was rolling my eyes really hard during Ronan and Mary's story. I did love that they got their HEA :)

Blossom is a steamy romance that gives a glimpse into the life of underground clubs that cater to the dominant/submissive lifestyle. After a scene goes wrong, Mary is trying to figure out if she wants to continue going to the Black Rose as a submissive until she meets Ronan, a dominant that is often described as Jamie Frasier from Outlander. The two meeting sparks a fast-paced, spicy romance that may end in finding each other's perfect match.

I did enjoy the chemistry between Mary and Ronan. The scenes between the two were spicy and the romance was the highlight of this book. However, I found this book to be a little too much insta-love. I believe the timeline from start to finish is one week and even after one day, Mary thinks she may already be in love with Ronan. However, I did enjoy many of the side characters in this book and my favorite was Yvette. She was such a fun and unexpected character in this book and was one of the main reasons why I finished this book.

Although Blossom is book 3 in the Black Rose series, you can read this book as a stand-alone.

Blossom is out now.

Thank you NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the opportunity to review Blossom. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Mary aka Blossom as she is known as in the BDSM world and by the Dominant in her life.

Happy just being a submissive at the Black Rose Underground Club, until a scene goes wrong, and she closed up, not daring to do any more scenes.

Ronan O'Connor, a Dominant in ALL sense of the word, walks into the club his first night in New York, and the first night that Blossom happens to return.

Ronan, looking to find a submissive to do a scene with....instead, finds Blossom, Mary who introduces him to the best pizza and view in the city. He in turn introduces her to part of his heritage, the Creole side that is, by whisking Mary away to NOLA.

In New Orleans, Mary meets Ronan's Me'Me' his grandmother.,

With Ronan and a special "friends" help, Blossom has a breakthrough in her submissive anxiety..

Phew....talk about hot and bothered...just read this book, and it will surely happen to you as well.

Helen Hardt did such an amazing job finishing up this series. That is why, I cannot give this book, anything less than 5 stars and recommend it to others.

The third installment of the Black Rose Underground Club series was a passionate journey. This was a very steamy BDSM insta-love romance. While it leans more towards romance than BDSM, it beautifully wraps up the trilogy of Club members. Although it can be read as a standalone, catching up on the previous books enhances the experience by providing essential background. These books, are well-crafted with a satisfying quick reads. Fans of intense spice in their reading will relish every page – a delicious treat!

This is yet again another an astonishing book by Helen Hardt. The book had me so enthralled that I read it in one sitting. It will have you captivated because it is full of mystery, adventures and emotions. Their story did not disappoint me at all! In my opinion Helen Hardt did a pronounced job of making a cohesive mix of emotions and spiciness inside this storyline. The pair of main characters exhibited an abundance of emotional growth within this story. Which made this sizeable addition to the series, and I can't wait to see what's next and where Helen Hardt conceives to take us next in this world that she created.

Mary was ready to leave the Black Rose Underground for good after a scene went wrong, leaving her plagued with nightmares and scared to go back, until she meets Ronan.

I ate up the immediate and undeniable chemistry between Mary and Ronan. Steamy is an understatement when it came to this book, but it also had a rich and engaging storyline that kept me hooked.

This is the third book in the Black Rose series and it can be read as a standalone. Welcome once again back to the Black Rose Underground Club where you can whet your appetite, in more ways than one…I will caution those that this is a BDSM romance with adult themes that are graphically described so if that is not your thing then you may want to pass on this one. For those that want to delve deeper, meet Mary, aka Blossom, a submissive by nature who was unfortunately mistreated by a Dom during a scene which left her questioning her own nature and whether or not she wanted to return to the life. Ronan is the sexy new, kilt wearing Dom who left Scotland and is intrigued by Mary from the moment he lays eyes on her. He was not looking for a relationship but there is something about Mary that has Ronan wanting to get to know her better. Although each one professes that they do not want a long-term relationship, sometimes the heart has other intentions and life finds a way to give you what you need whether you were intentionally looking or not. Ms. Hardt is one of my go to authors. Her writing style is seductive and her characters envelop you like a mist that blankets you in a beautiful cocoon as each page turns. Overall, this is one book that will be hard to put down once started and stay in your mind once finished. I recommend this book and the rest of the series.

I received and Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Mariah Sandusky frequented Black Rose Underground as a Sub for a long time. She had something spook her and has been hesitant to take a scene with a Dom. She and her friend, Brenda, decide to go to Black Rose to check things out. Mary is not quite ready for a scene. Mary has not been in a committed Dom-Sub relationship since she started coming to Black Rose and doesn't plan to start anytime soon, but something is lacking. She is wanting more than random scenes can give her.

Ronan O'Connor made is first appearance at Black Rose memorable. He was in a kilt. Yes, you heard me right, a kilt. He was a sight to behold and obviously a Dom. In fact, most could tell that he was dominant in every part of his life. He was not looking for love but had been in long-term Dom-Sub relationships. His last one was the reason he came to New York. As soon as he saw and spoke to Mary, he knew she would be his perfect Sub. Now he just had to convince her.

Their relationship started different. They went on, for lack of a better word, a date when it was obvious that Mary/Blossom was not ready for scenes just yet. Mary was still trying to figure out what was holding her back from doing a scene. What was missing now? Ronan and Mary decided to continue to get to know each other. Though Mary was not ready for a scene, she was ready to fly to with Ronan to his hometown of New Orleans. They stayed there for a few days and their relationship took a turn. Was Mary ready for a scene though?

Will a series of traumatic events bring these two together or tear them apart forever? Neither wanted a relationship, but feelings can and do change. I really enjoyed this series. I loved the New Orleans flare. I really enjoyed Ronan's grandmother, Yvette/Meme. It was nice to see a man have a close-knit relationship with this grandmother. The grandmother always knows.

Mary is submissive, but one scene went wrong and she has nightmares. Her friend finally gets her to go back to Black Rose Underground Club. She meets Ronan there, they leave club to go eat something. He knows she is spooked and doesn't want to do scene. They spend time together. She is starting to feel more that she should. Then tragedy happen. Will this open Ronan's eyes what's in front of him.
I enjoyed this story very much, didn't read other books in series, but now, I have to do it. Wonderful storyline.

Blossom by Helen Hardt is book three in the Black Rose Series. This is the story of Ronan O’Connor and Mary Sandusky. This book was some hot reading. Ms. Hardt is never disappointing to me! Loving this series and I highly recommend Ms. Hardt's writing.

BLOSSOM Black Rose Book 3 by Helen Hardt
I have totally enjoyed these books about Black Rose, but this is the best. Mary "Blossom" has been scarred by a prior submissive event at Black Rose, that has left her doubting herself. Ronan is a kilt wearing highlander who is a dominant with an interest in Blossom. He loves the club scene, but doesn't have any interest in relationships outside of the club.
This well written, solid story has plenty of angst, drama, and oh the heat! Ronan and Mary make a great couple, and I thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Big Easy to meet up with Yvette. I will miss this world as this is the last book in this series. This is a definite 5 stars.

It honestly took me a minute to connect with Mary and Ronan, even though Mary had been previously introduced. But I was a little annoyed with Brenda too. Thankfully this didn't last very long because I felt like this book was the angstiest of this series, and I loved it.

Black Rose Underground Club was once Mary's favorite place to play. She really enjoyed her role as submissive Blossom who liked playing with various Doms at the club. But when a scene got out of hand, she was left unsure and ready to walk away from the club. Until she met a hot Scot who seems to push all the right buttons.

Ronan is new to the area and the Black Rose. He loves commanding a submissive in a scene but doesn't feel the need to pursue relationships outside of the club. He lost that urge a long time ago. But when he meets Mary, he is captivated by her beauty and her obedience.

He's determined to make her his.

Neither is prepared for where this relationship will take them.

Thank you so much to the author, Entangled Publishing and NetHalley for this ARC to review.

Oh My! I LOVED this book!! Blossom is the third book in Helen Hardt’s Black Rose trilogy. It is a BDSM romance, that is steamy, angsty, and has a great plot that is both in-depth and suspenseful.

This is Ronan O’Connor and Mary aka Blossom Sandusky’s romance.

After a BDSM scene goes wrong. Mary takes a break and wonders if she can return to her past lifestyle. But at the urging of her best friend Brenda she finally returns to the Black Rose for just a drink. And as luck would have it she see a new member of the club, Ronan, a gorgeous, shirtless Dom, who is wearing a kilt…oh my…so hot! These two are immediately attracted to each other, but Mary is still very wary, while Ronan is willing to take things slowly in order to get to know her.

“I am looking for a playmate, Blossom. And it will be you. Maybe not tonight, but eventually.”

Ronan, takes his time developing their relationship and wooing Mary and it is such a wonderful journey. I fell hard for Ronan and couldn’t stop smiling as I read this book. But will Mary be able to trust again? You will need to read to get all the details. I highly recommend this thrilling book. This is my favorite of the series!

I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

This was an interesting read and I loved it!

I wasn't sure about the MMC Ronan at first. I was hooked at him resembling Jamie Frasier, thrown by him wearing kilts almost everywhere, and then rehooked when we finally get to see him as a Dominant. Spoiler, it's hot af!

As for the FMC, Mary, it was interesting to see her battle with herself and come to terms with her changing needs. The life she led might not be the life she wants going forward and she has to make a choice.

However, the unsung hero of this book is the MMC's grandma, mémé Yvette. I loved her so much and would love a story about her life.

Blossom, book three in the Black Rose series by Helen Hardt, tells the story of Mary, who is known as Blossom at the Black Rose Underground Club, and Ronan, a Dom who is looking for a scene but winds up captivated by Mary. Mary hasn’t been back to the club since an incident with her prior Dom and is feeling a little hesitant to get back into the lifestyle, but meets Ronan who she feels something different for. Ronan wants a submission in all aspects of life, while Mary is a strong-willed woman who enjoys being a sub during a scene but not in her day to day life. Mary and Ronan become so much more than Dom and Sub which leads them both to think about what they want from each other. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and think this series has only gotten better with each book!

This review took a long time to write because I truly can’t decide on how I want to rate this book.

For now I will be rating it a 3.5, round up to 4 for GR.

You tell me that a character is a Scot that grew up in NOLA? I’m in! I’m there! I love that character already, and I think this is where it became difficult for me. There are a few, very small scenes that involved the paranormal due to Rowan’s grandmother. Voodoo was something that was introduced and I guess if it was in a different series it wouldn’t have mattered. This threw me off a bit.

Overall I love blossom and her courage to face what she wants. I love Rowan because there’s nothing to hate. Give me a a man wearing a Kilt anytime!

Spice is quality and hot! Helen Hardt knows spice and can do it sleeping, that I can trust.

Blossom is the final book in the Black Rose series and without doubt my personal favouite for it's depth of emotion on both the characters' parts, but also for the wonderful snippets we get of life in New York as well as New Orleans. The descriptions of the food alone made me want to pack a bag and go! Ronan and Mary aka Blossom are both outwardly content with their lifestyle and being single. Yet it only takes one meeting for them to realize that there's something - or someone - missing. The HEA is very well-deserved and satisfying. While there is mention of the leading couples from the other books in the series, Blossom is a true standalone.

The story of Mary and Ronan was a wonderful way to end this series. I had been waiting for Mary’s story and it was so beautiful. I enjoyed that their adventures took them outside of the Black Rose club, while still keeping it part of the story. Helen Hardt really created multidimensional and characters with unique backstories. I really want to be friends with Ronan’s grandma! I also applaud the author for taking on hard subject matters while intertwining the fate these two souls. I will miss all the characters from this series but can’t wait to see what see write next!

This is book three in The Black Rose series and it Mary Ronan’s story. Mary loves spending time at The Black Rose Underground Club where she can be who she wants to be and then something happens that makes her question herself and she is ready to walk away until she meets Ronan who not only pushes all her buttons but also gives her what she craves. Ronan who is a dom and loves what he does and that is to give pleasure but outside of the club he is a different person and doesn’t do relationships but then he meets Mary and everything that he thought changes the more time that he spends with he. Wow Mary and Ronan have chemistry that is so hot that it sizzles off the pages and you will definitely need a cold drink at hand when you read this book because it is intense and hot. I loved the storyline as it pulled you in and kept your attention throughout and the characters were so well written that you felt like you were there with them and going through everything. I absolutely love this series because not only is it a BDSM story but also is a beautiful romance as well which I really love. I can’t wait to see what this author writes next and I look forward to reading it.
