The Finders Keeper Library is a heartwarming book that takes us on a journey through the heart of a small town where love, hope and second chances share its name. Welcome to Bloom, NC.

Savannah Collins finds her life at a crossroads. After being dumped by the man whom she thought she would be with, she found herself trying to pick up the pieces. Single, unemployed and practically homeless, seeking comfort, she decides to go to the one place filled with love that would renew her heart and soul. With a car full of plants and her new rescue kitty Fig, she heads out to Bloom, NC to spend the summer with her Aunt Eleanor. A former librarian, full of comfort, life and wisdom to await her with loving arms to soothe her broken spirit.

The book unfolds around the charm of the Finders Keepers Library. A beautiful gem, tucked away in her beautiful garden full of roses, serves more than just stories on a page. This beautiful place, where anyone can read a book or leave one, has been the heart of the community for some time. This little haven connects and heals the souls for the many facing life’s challenges as well as bringing joy, warmth and comfort for those seeking a quench to their literary thirst. When a storm passes through and the damage threatens an upcoming wedding, the community shows up by coming together to show what determination and love can do for someone they love.

While they come together to repair, in the process, Savannah forms an unexpected bond with her neighbor Evan Sanders. Now as these two go way back, all they ever was were friends. As they reminisce going though the books, their mutual friendship places them on a journey leading to comfort and strength in the company of each other. While her time here was only intended for a short visit, life has a way of bringing you to the right place at the right time to throw a wrench in your intended plans.

Through the amazing characters in the book, their story weaves together love, family and the power of community. As Savannah deals with the uncertainties of her life, she discovers that homes is a feeling of belonging, acceptance and love. Her journey with Evan was slow but deliberate. Integrated with their journey was his relationship with his daughter. The evolution of their relationship dealing with loss, self discovery and healing was a delicate, beautiful balance. My favorite was Eleanor. She represented and brought something to the book that left a warm impression. Not to mention her second chance of love in life, is always beautiful to see but her wisdom and unconditional love was soothing. Her books as a conduit to heal and soothe and what that beautiful little library brought to the book made a special experience surrounding the characters and their journey.

From the first page to the end, this book leaves you feeling so wonderful. Selfishly, I didn't want it to end and deliberate read it slow. Out of all the books that I've read from Annie thus far, this one definitely hits different. I can't express it into words but it's just a feeling that just hugs you and leaves you feeling good.

I really wanted to love this story. The title was incredibly intriguing, but ultimately didn't provide me with the romantic butterflies and investment in either the characters or story. There were many cheesy lines and bland character developments with a lack of plot. The character galavant through a summer of indecision and nothing really happens. It was always clear that the main characters would end up together, but there was a lack of build up to their ultimate romance. The secondary characters seemed like side story lines that tied up a bit at the end, while others, like Mallory, never had any closure. It was an easy read, and did shine a light on a chronic illness that allow the reader to learn a bit about it. Overall, it didn't have me hooked and eager to get back to reading. It was very vanilla and could easily adapt into a hallmark movie. Sometimes, this type of book is what you need. It just didn't have me like I'd hoped. Thank you to the publisher for a copy of the book.

Savannah Collins's life has been turned upside down due to an unexpected health issue. Her fiance left her which means no job because she worked for him and also she is now homeless. She decided to head to her Aunt Eleanor's home in Bloom, North Carolina to spend some time reevaluate her life. She is a gardener at heart and wants to find something on that field. Her Aunt has a wonderful garden and also a special sharing library that quite a few people from the town visit. When a summer storm hits and messes up her Aunts roses and destroys part of the Library Savannah is happy to help lend a hand in fixing things. She spent summers with her Aunt and is soon reintroduced to Evan Sanders a boy she spent her summers hanging out with. She soon gets a job offer and has a date that she needs to accept it by. Follow along to see if.she takes the job or stays in Bloom and turns everything around.

This book delves into health topics while maintaining an overall light tone, which I appreciated. Characters like Eleanor, June, and Charlie added depth, but I found Savannah and Evan's relationship lacking in excitement and depth. The repetitive nature of Savannah's thoughts also detracted from the story's appeal as a romance.

The narrative is quaintly crafted, evoking the feel of a Hallmark movie. While it didn't exceed my expectations, it offers a comfortable read for those in search of something lighter.

A heartfelt thank you to NetGalley and Forever Publishing for the opportunity to read this eARC.

loved this romance told in different point of views. I loved that evan is dealing with his daughter and savannah is dealing with lupas . Her aunt is dealing with getting older. A wedding is taking place at her home. Loved the different book quotes from each chapter.

Such a cute & cozy book! I love books about books, and this one intertwined flower gardens, a small town, romance, and summertime.

Savanna returns to the the small town of Bloom and the home of her Aunt Eleanor, with whom she spent every summer as a child, after a Lupus diagnosis that left her with a broken engagement and a life that fell apart. I can picture Eleanor’s home and yard so perfectly from the description. What a wonderful mix of her late husband Aaron’s love of gardening and her love of books. When a storm comes through destroying the garden and little library that he built for Eleanor, Savanna stays to help rebuild in time for a wedding to take place…putting her botany background to use. In the meantime the fire rekindles on a lost love from her teen years. Will she be able to move past the hurt that has left her feeling like a broken burden, will she realize that she does deserve love and someone who will stay no matter what?

We also see other stories of loss and love intertwined throughout. I enjoyed the glimpse into their lives as they healed. I’d love to walk into Eleanor’s home, as you don’t ring the bell or knock you just walk in, and take a cup of tea out to the garden to talk with the roses. Then I’d visit the Finder’s Keeper’s Library to get just the right book to speak to my heart. I’m sure Ms. Eleanor would help me find the perfect one.

*Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book to read and review.

There's nothing better than a book about books. The Finders Keepers Library fills that bill. The cast of likable characters - Savannah, Evan, June and the darling Eleanor and Charlie make for a comfortable read. Savannah is healing with a life changing diagnosis and Evan helps her come to terms with finding a life partner who is always by her side and won't bail when health issues happen.

I am embarrassed to admit this was my first Annie Rains book but I'm happy to say I will be reading her upcoming release as well as glomming her back list.

Thanks you #NetGalley for the opportunity to read The Finders Keepers Library.

Five stars from me

In The Finders Keepers Library by Annie Rains, we meet gardener Savannah, who’s recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease her fiancé doesn’t think he can deal with. Between jobs and with nowhere else to go, she visits an elderly aunt she hasn’t seen in years and finds that her irrepressible Aunt Eleanor has become homebound after an injury. As Savannah and her aunt’s neighbor work to rebuild her aunt’s treasured lending library in the backyard, she discovers that her path might not include the job she’s supposed to take in a few months. This was a sweet story, but it seemed to be missing something; you’re dropped right into the middle of things—and Aunt Eleanor would have made the better main character. I’d love to see the back story about her backyard library. (Netgalley review; releases in April)

I just reviewed The Finders Keepers Library by Annie Rains. #NetGalley. I really enjoyed this book. All the characters were likeable. I really enjoyed the relationship between Savannah and her aunt Eleanor. I liked how they would quote books and how the each found love. Also, being from Prince Edward Island I enjoyed the references to Anne of Green Gables.

Savannah Collins’ life seems to turn upside down with her cancelled engagement, no job, no place to live and her recent health diagnosis. She decides to head to the one place that has always felt like home more than any other—her Aunt Eleanor’s. Savannah and Eleanor are not only connected by blood but also by their love of books and literature.

Savannah also reconnects with her childhood best friends Mallory and Evan neither of whom she’s seen since they parted for college. She only intends to stay the summer, but will the pull to stay Bloom be more than she bargained for?

The idea of the Finders Keepers Library is magical and spoke to my heart. I loved how the chapters started with quotes and how Savannah, Eleanor, Evan and Charlie all recited quotes from various pieces of writing to fit in with what was happening or to try to explain something deeper. I can’t wait to read other books in this series!

I’ve been an avid reader since I was young and loved going to the library during summer vacation. I remember one summer that I sprained my ankle and was laid up for a few weeks, the librarian waived the rule of how many books of one genre I was allowed to borrow at a time. I'll recommend that of copy of this book is purchased for the school library.

Thank you to NetGalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for allowing me to read an ARC of this novel. #NetGalley #TheFindersKeepersLibrary

The Finders Keepers Library is the latest release by the talented Annie Rains. I loved getting to know the people of Bloom especially Savannah, Evan, and June, Evan’s daughter. Will Savannah and Evan take a chance on love? Read The Finders Keepers Library to find out.
I loved reading this sweet romance by Annie Rains and can’t wait to read more from this very gifted author. This story is full of very likable characters that felt so real. This story is a romance yes, but it is also so much more. It is about loss, dealing with a chronic illness diagnosis, family and friendship.

The Finders Keepers Library by Annie Rains is a coming-home story, which often are the best kind, romance or not. But this is a romance, several really, with one in the offing. Savannah has reached her aunt’s house and before ringing the bell sees a sign saying, “NO NEED TO KNOCK. COME RIGHT ON IN.” She didn’t lock her house? What she discovered shocked her. Why hadn’t she known? As she was in the garden, a man came through the hedge. It was her childhood friend, Evan Sanders. He had always lived next door and when she came to spend the summers with her aunt Eleanor, he had been there. She always gave them summer reading lists. Books were so important that she had a free lending library in her backyard, much larger than the little free libraries one saw sometimes, but the same principle. She was happy to see him...and his daughter. Wow, a story to tell. And he did, in short stints, as she told her story the same way.

This book was full of important lines from important books. It was a game they had been playing for years, and it was endearing. A storm came one night and ripped the roof off the library and crushed the rose arbor. That was bad enough, but there was to be a wedding in the backyard in three weeks. Could they get it repaired in time? All the while they were working they were getting to know one another again. It was fun. And getting to know June, his daughter, whose mother had died. There were adjustments, of course. Could any of them make them? A lovely story about true love, which is more than romantic love, although there was some of that as well. Thanks Annie Rains for a lovely book!

The Finders Keepers Library by Anjie Rains is a delightful book. The quotes from many different books made the story even more special.

I enjoy Annie Rain's warm, feel good, clean contemporary romances. This is the beginning of the new Love in Bloom series. Savannah Collins' life has gone off course. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune illness her fiancé dumps her. She decides to visit her aunt in Bloom, NC while she continues her job search and adjusts to her new life status. She used to spend summers with her aunt and still has friends in the community.

Her aunt is in actual need of her assistance as she is still recovering from a serious fall. She is surprised to learn that old friend Ean Sanders still lives next door and is a single father to 12 year old June. A storm creates the need for the friends and neighbors to come together to recover the aunts garden which is to be the setting for an upcoming wedding. It gives Evan and Savannah a chance to rekindle their friendship. And I like how Savannah interacts with the troubled June. The aunt even has some issues going on and gets a bonus romance of her own.

I know with Rains I’m going to get nice characters dealing with life and trying to lift each other up. This is clean with a few shared kisses. This could easily be a story for the Hallmark channel. I love the cover and the book quotes at the beginning of each chapter. This is easy to recommend if you enjoy clean contemporary romances.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a digital ARC of The Finders Keepers Library.
This was the first Annie Rains book I have read, but definitely won't be my last. This is a story about starting over and second chances at life and love. It is a story about finding ways to live with illness, grief, disability, and overcoming life's challenges. Despite these heavy topics, it is told with heart and sprinkled with humor.
I will be seeking out books by this author in the future!

Life has Savannah on the ropes right now. If being diagnosed with lupus wasn't to deal with, being dumped by her fiance when he heard the diagnosis certainly was. With no job on the immediate horizon, Savannah retreats to visit her Aunt Eleanor. Every summer until she was nineteen, she spent with her. But unbeknownst to Savannah, Aunt Eleanor had a bad fall over the winter. Then after she arrives a horrific storm, tears the roof off the library that Eleanor maintained for the community and destroys the beautiful rose arbor. Returning the yard and library to their former glory is paramount is paramount as their is to be a wedding there in three weeks. Refurbishing the yard, has Savannah working with her high school crush who has fighting to reclaim a relationship with his 13 year old daughter struggling with the loss of her mother to cancer. So many stories are interwoven here to bring a smile to your face.

The Finder Keepers Library is a cute second chance romance that is set in the charming town of Bloom, North Carolina. Savannah Collins spends the summer with her Aunt Eleanor. Together, they tend to the Finders Keepers Library, a magical place where books and roses flourish side by side. They must come together when a summer storm uproots their library backyard sanctuary. A cute, charming, easy read. This was my first book by Annie Rains but I loved the sweet romance and the community ties in the book. Definitely an uplifting, sweet romance!

The blurb says if you love Jenny Hale you’ll love Annie Rains and as someone that loves Jenny Hale, I was happy to find this author!

Fear can do strange things. It makes you question things you should actually know. The Finders Keepers Library that Eleanor has kept up since her late husband built it, has been a source of comfort. A really bad storm takes out part of the structure and the town comes together. Evan who is trying to raise his daughter June, is afraid of losing her to his late wife's mother. Savanah is there to help put the garden back together since her uncle has died and also trying to figure out her own life. Charlie is just a constant in Eleanor's life. He is kind and patient. When things start to fall apart, books, love and truth lead the way.
