I loved this audiobook. The narration was perfect and the story captured me right from the beginning. This was my first book by Max Monroe and I loved how the story flowed and all the characters developed throughout the book. Highly recommend!

This book was pretty original in plot but pretty predictable in delivery. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy the ride!

A single mom with two wild sons who no longer believes in love finds herself in the middle of a kind of love triangle. Her kids were funny and rotten and there was a lot of humorous moments throughout the book. It was a goofy light listen perfect for the weekend.

The narration was spot on!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book by Max Monroe. It was fun to catch up with the characters from Accidentally Yours. Noah and Sammy were made for each other, and Sammy's sister, Brooke, is always telling them. Reading a Max Monroe book is always full of laughs and a must read. AUDIOBOOK: Sebastian York and Elizabeth Louise do an amazing job bringing this story to life.

What a fun story this was. I loved the fact that the characters had lived a bit of life already and were mature and relatable. Sammy is a divorced single mom trying to get her life back together and doesn't feel like she will ever meet or even find the time to find the man of her dreams. She is a very busy woman with a lot of responsibilities and has not been is the dating pool for years. So Sammy is completely shocked when she finds that she actually has two handsome successful men interested in her. The dialog is excellent and the banter between characters is a lot of fun. There are some fun and not so fun plot twists that kept this story interesting and fresh. I listened to the audio version of this book and the narrator was delightful. Overall I really enjoyed it. Highly recommended. 4 stars.

One of the things I loved most about this book is that the characters in it were in their 40s. It’s very rarely that I come across characters over the age of 35 in books so it was a little different, which isn’t a bad thing!

I was so drawn to Sammy. She was such an adorable character. Extremely relatable. So sweet, beautiful and so funny and she and Noah were so perfect together. Their chemistry and banter… *Chiefs Kiss*

This book had twists and turns, top-tier banter and laugh-out-loud moments. It was everything! I highly recommend taking a chance!

Max Monroe's next funny and hot romcom, which does not lack the characters of the previous books, because this time the main character is the sister of the main character of the first book, Brooke Baker (yes, the same Brooke Baker who accidentally sent her wet dreams to her editor, and together editing the book they also create something else, and that also has a big part in this book, and don't forget Benji with the superhero cape, who will also get his own romcom :) ).

So, Sammy, still a successful restaurant owner and mother of two wild sons (who can say the very wrong things at the very wrong moment), must deal with her crazy life alone. And right now fate decides to send two men on her way - a sharp businessman and a cute doctor. One of them takes her to fancy restaurants (but they never manage to eat without something going wrong) and the other is basically everything a woman could dream of, but thanks to his job, he's constantly surrounded by a flock of adoring mothers, so you can't be sure if he could stay faithful.
And so the story goes, swinging between the two cavaliers, adding snapshots from Brooke's crazy life, until the pendulum finally starts to slow down and swing more towards one option.
Which choice is correct? You have to read it for yourself. Or, well, read anyway, Max Monroe has once again completed a delightfully over-the-top romcom.

I feel soo seen as a mom. This is my first book by this author-duo, and it will not be my last! This is hilarious, and romantic, and realistic, and full of plot twist. Sam is a hard working single mom with the weight of the world on her shoulders-she doesn’t have time to pursue a love life. BUT the right man makes your life easier. Her wild kids make me raise a fist in solidarity! I absolutely adore the sister relationship between Sammy and Brooke! The MMC is completely swoon worthy, hardworking, considerate, and a total caveman for a beautiful moment. I was not expecting some of these twists!! The epilogue was the perfect way to wrap up this amazing love story!

Okay, Max Monroe … seriously the winner of witty banter and making me laugh always. Please heed the warnings at the beginning of this book and don't listen to it in places you don't want to be laughing out loud bringing attention to yourself!

Noah is a super hot doctor that Sammy's sister, Brooke, has been trying to hook her up with for awhile. Sammy's hesitation is the fact that Noah always seems to be surrounded by women and super attractive ones at that. When seemingly stand up businessman Gavin starts to show genuine interest in Sammy, something clicks between them and they seem to hit it off well.

This series has been really fun to read/listen to. The narrators are excellent and do a great job of brining these characters to life. While this is part of an interconnected series, I don't feel like you HAVE to read the other books prior to Cluelessly Yours. It would just give you more context and background on other characters and how you ended up following Sammy's story.

Cluelessly Yours was wonderful and so not what I was expecting. This Romcom had me fully engrossed and highly amused. It's the 3rd book in the It's a Funny Story series and is a single mom / love triangle...ish / romcom / friends to lovers romance.

The story gave us excellent banter, undeniable chemistry, well developed characters and lots of emotions and took us on quite a journey with Sammy, our FMC.

Sammy's character was well written and totally relatable. As a single newly divorced mom with two energetic boys, she had no time for dating but somehow finds herself in the middle of a love triangle.

Without giving spoilers, I will say the guy she ends up with was totally dreamy and had me swooning with every scene he was in.

Yes, the story was hilarious but it was also angsty at times, and steamy at other times and it had me totally entertained all the time. This was a fantastic read and I would highly recommend it.

🎧 I listened to the audiobook version of this novel which was narrated by Sebastian York and Elizabeth Loraine. They were both fantastic. Their voices complimented each other and were suitable for the characters. Their expressions and intonation added another layer that brought the story to life. It was a pleasure listening to them narrate this novel.

This book was absolutely hilarious. I found myself laughing uncontrollably more than once. It was a story of mishaps that just got better and better. The dialogue was wonderful and the internal dialogue was even better. Someone has a "squirrel" in their head like I do! It was a great story and I enjoyed every word!

Story follows Sammy - single mom of two cute boys in her early 40's. Her dating life is non existent, having to raise two boys and manage a busy restaurant. Her sister is trying to set her up with hot doctor, Noah and aside from that Sammy also goes out on a date with Gavin - businessman who is also interested in her. Sammy at the end chooses one (the one I was rooting for).

Book overall is so enjoyable. I loved the characters and the laugh I got , especially from Sammy kiddos.
Sammy is very relatable and I actually recommended this book to few of my close friends who are single mom's.
To be honest I don't read much of single mom tropes but this was really good book.

I had read the previous book and I was so glad to be able to get this book from NetGalley and Good Girls PR.

Sammy is a harried single mother, with two rambunctious boys. They seem to get into a lot of trouble, or they are vomiting. But Sammy is blessed with a wonderful nanny, Zoe, and her sister, along with the sister's fiancé. Her ex-husband wants nothing to do with her or the boys.

Then suddenly two men are interested in Sammy. One is a gorgeous anesthesiologist and the other is a handsome, successful business man who hosts business dinners at the restaurant she manages.

I was pleased to be able to read and e-copy of the book as well as listen to the audio version. The narrators did a great job.

This rom-com is funny and engrossing. Loved the characters, loved the story-telling. There is some sex, but it isn't a novel that focused on it.

Sammy Baker is a walking disaster magnet (like myself) so I was instantly drawn to this character and found her funny and endeering from page one. I loved the connection between her and Noah and the narrators did such a fantastic job of bringing the book to life and I could have listened to them endlessly with their relaxing but also engaging tones of voice.
I wasn't keen on Gavin but loved Sammys and Noahs sisters so much!
The book starts off with Sammy in the hospital waking from an accident and then goes to events before the accident - I was so engaged in these events I forgot about the accident so when it unfolded it came as a shock!
This book was just the perfect tonic and much needed breath of fresh air that I needed right now and I'm now adding all of the author's backlist Books to my TBR.

This book was just kind of boring to me. Nothing was really wrong with it but I just had the hardest time getting into it. I have plenty of others books by Max Monroe so I'll definitely read more by them but I'll still to more of their college-aged romance.

Unfortunately, I was unable to read this because it is part of a series. However, the synopsis is so intriguing that I would love to go back and read the other books.

This one felt a bit more subdued than the typical Max Monroe books but still had quite a few LOL and steamy scenes. Sammy is navigating life and re-entering the dating pool as a divorced mom with 2 rambunctious boys and little free time. Her sister is pushing her to date an ER dr she knows and a businessman who frequents the restaurant Sammy works also has his eyes on her.

It starts with Sammy waking up from a coma in a hospital next to her boyfriend but another woman who is clearly pregnant is holding his hand. Cue record scratch!

I loved the way in which the romance unfolded because it added a bit of mystery and immediately had me on high alert to be sure these authors hadn’t bamboozled me. Have trust in them and you’ll make it out the other side with a HEA.

I had the pleasure of listening to an ALC where Elizabeth Louise and Sebastian York brought these characters to life. Their vocal expressions were spot on and made me laugh multiple times.

I know the authors list love triangle as one of the tropes, but I’ll fight them on this. A woman re-entering the dating pool and looking for nothing serious can and should date a few different men until she finds the one that treats both her and her children with the care they deserve. So if you are leery of love triangle romances, don’t be with this one.

She barley has time for herself between her job and her boys. Her sister has been trying to set her up with her dogs girlfriends dad (Noah) but she thinks hes a ladies man and is a serial dater and she doesn't have time for that. But she can't deny the attraction. Even when she goes on a few dates with Gavin she feels like something is missing. Gavin is intense and seems to be liking her (in my opinion a little to much)

This is a good book about starting over putting yourself first and also your children happiness and trying to figure out this crazy world/ life. It felt vey real. I really enjoy these duos books.

This is book 3 in the It's a funny Story. Each one is a stand alone but have over lapping charterers.

Another cute spicy romcom full of heart. Another authors note that made me want to stop reading before I even started tho lol after reading the last max Monroe book though I knew not to judge this one off a cringy authors note.
Also, I’m obsessed with Noah

It's so cute!!! Romantic Comedy, single mom, independent woman with a love for her kids that is above all else. This male main character though ugh!!! He falls first and hard which I devour those types of men! The car accident that almost killed both of these characters that's the way this whole book starts! I was so worried someone was going to die! lol, I love That plot TWIST! I was about to be really mad at you Max Monroe but it was saved lol I need a book that saves that character that was wronged though I know she's a side character but I need it!
