This is a very sweet story about being yourself and letting everyone else be themselves too. It’s a big bonus that dinosaurs are added to the story as we have a BIG Dino fan in our house. Illustrations are very sweet as well. Would definitely buy and recommend.

This is the cutest book! My kids were glued to the pictures and the story. The illustrations are fantastic and the story comes together at the end so nicely. I love that it is teaching children to be themselves rather than trying to fit into what is expected of them. I think it would be perfect for ages 3-5 but would still be entertaining for kids a little younger and older. Highly recommend!

Super cute illustrations of all the forest animals! Love the lesson of self-discovery and just being yourself! I could see my first graders really liking this story due to the silliness!

This is a very cute children’s book that is about acceptance and accepting others. Great illustrations, best for children under 6 years old. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this book in exchange for my honest feedback!

My kids and I really enjoyed this read. We loved the moral of the story and that this could tie in with a lot of different social situations. We loved the word choices “froggiest frog” and “dinosaury dinosaur”, it definitely produced some laughs!

A great way to show kids how to be true to themselves and be their own person. Very colorful, large illustrations that will keep a kid’s interest.

This is a fantastic little picture book about how it's important to be yourself. It's super cute and made me smile, but there was also a gentle little science lesson. Kids can learn about dinosaurs and other animals and how animals change and adapt over time.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

This book was absolutely adorable. I loved the Illustrations. Brian the frog and all of his friends were so beautifully drawn in the cutest style. Really well done!

The moral of the story is something that not only children, but adults alike can benefit from the gentle reminder. That it’s okay to be you, just as you are, whoever you want to be. You don’t need to conform to the social standards that everyone around you pushes at you, and just be yourself! I loved that Brian was able to celebrate his own differences and point out his friends differences in a positive way and say basically that’s what makes you, “you” and that’s why we love you!

What a cute book about embracing our differences. Brian the frog realizes that frogs were around with the dinosaurs. So he decides to be one.

This book shows how you can be different than the group and be embraced for it. Loved it!

Brianosaurus is an adorable illustrated book for the youngest readers written and illustrated by Ged Adamson. Due out 2nd April 2024 from Brilliance (Amazon) on their Two Lions imprint, it's 40 pages and will be available in hardcover and ebook formats. For Kindle Unlimited subscribers, this book will be included in the KU subscription library to borrow and read for free.

The illustrations are whimsical, beautiful, and colorfully appealing. There are lots of small details (like the tiny insects) which invite readers to stop and take a closer look. The text is in simple free verse and easy enough for new readers to master and understand. It's also a great candidate for a read along in the classroom (with "roar-alongs" from students) or a read-together with an older sibling or adult.

The basic message of being yourself, individuality, love of reading/learning, and diversity are all positively presented in a simple and accessible manner.

Five stars. A delightful read and it would make a great selection for public, school, or classroom acquisition, home use, or gift giving.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

This book teaches self-acceptance by showing how conflicting expectations pushed onto a frog by his peers are unattainable and unsustainable. The frog, Brian, is relatable, and the encouragement to be yourself is an excellent lesson for children.

Thank you NetGalley and Two Lions for this ARC. All opinions are my own.

This was a lovely book with a very important message. Teaching our children that everyone is different and should be delighted in those differences, is such an important message. The fact that it comes in the form of beautiful illustrations and easy to understand language makes it perfect for young children and parents to read together.

Brianosaurus is a sweet children’s book about a young frog’s struggle to find, become and express himself without judgement from his family or peers. It’s a story everyone can relate to. Charming llustrations appear to be an eclectic mix of various mediums including pencil, pen, marker, crayon, and paint. It’s enjoyable for all ages, but especially young and primary grades. New readers may struggle with a few words, so this is best read together.

Thank you NetGalley and Two Lions for sending this temporary digital book for advanced review consideration. All opinions are my own

Okay, this picture book is the CUTEST. As a parent, I'm always looking for books that I can read aloud to my kids at bedtime that are funny but not. . .hyper. If you're a parent, you get what I'm saying. 😂 The overall message is so great: everyone is their own individual self with opinions and preferences, and we should respect that. The illustrations are also adorable and unique. This is one of those books that will work for a young toddler up to young elementary, and that's invaluable!
