This book is a playbook for parents on basically how to truck their kids. There are so many tricks on how to get kids to do what you want, without the fuss and fight. Having 4 littles under 10, I found this book helpful and funny. Love that they cover a variety of topics.

A fun parent guide offering several of the most challenging topics with kids, from getting them to brush their teeth to cleaning up and meeting new people. Every topic is broken down into "Laying the Groundwork" (strategies to use beforehand to lessen the likelihood of an issue occurring), “A Little Sneaky" (offering choices), “Pretty Sneaky” (examples of active misdirection), "Games Parents Play" (examples of how to make it fun and game-like), a themed song with modified lyrics that's to the tune of popular nursery rhymes everyone knows, and "If They're Onto You (self-explanatory).

Even if you're a seasoned parent, you can glean some creative and fresh ideas from these two authors and the other parents and therapists they surveyed. I'll definitely be keeping this guide in my back pocket for a rainy day!

This is a very basic book with alternative solutions for power struggles. I didn't really find it super helpful, but only because I knew all of this already.

This is a brilliant little book! As a parent of a 3 year old that fights all the time to dress/undress, have a bath, clean the teeth etc. I cant reccomend this book enough! It has little tips about how to make your kids do what they need to do without screaming and fighting all the time! If they can be sneaky, you can too!!!

I would definitely recommend it to all parents. In my opinion is a must have for these rainy days at least that you dont have the energy to put up another fight with your litlle monster and I am definitely getting a copy for my library!
