All Signs Point to Malibu by Jennifer Snow needs to be on your summer TBR. This is a cute, easy read with the right amount of banter & spice. There is a small dose of fantasy thrown in. If you enjoy forced proximity, enemies to lovers, & a good romance this would be a great book for you!

Thank you NetGalley & Harlequin Trade Publishing for an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This story is super sweet, with just the right amount of banter and bedroom spice. I loved that Hailey was able to have an impact on the futures she saw for those around her (like a less existentially frustrating That’s So Raven). Overall, I’d recommend this book to any fan of the romance genre.

Overall, I thought this was a cute story and enjoyed reading it, but I had a few hang-ups . I found that some things were overexplained throughout the book which slowed down the storyline. Also, I love dual POVs, but the book often changed POVs abruptly (even mid-chapter), so a POV label would've made it a lot easier to follow. I think this book has good bones but could use another round of editing to eliminate some things that don't add value to the storyline.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the ARC!

All Signs Point to Malibu is for those who love a good romantic story with a dose of mysticism.
The story concentrates on Hailey Harris a successful life coach. I liked how Jennifer Snow incorporated motivational quotes as titles for each chapter.
Harris’s psychic visions are the boom and downfall of her career. There are lessons to be learnt, love blooms, friendships analyzed.
The ending is quick, maybe a little rushed – but for all those readers who like a romantic story you’ll be happy.

Thank you #netgalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I didn't know what to expect from this book since the synopsis was sparse when I requested it on NetGalley but I'm glad I read it. It's a good enemies to lovers trope that is well written, with a good life message as well. Hailey must decide if she's willing to ignore her gut/gift to make a difference in her client's lives and share her true self to find love. This is the first book I've read by this author & I will definitely be checking out more of her other books. A great read with 1 spicy scene (in case that is or is not your thing). Overall, a great romance read with good characters & storyline.

Im giving this book 3.5 stars. I first have to point out that I’m not a traditional romance reader and that’s really what this book is, with a dash of fantasy by way of the fmc having psychic visions that she uses to help launch her career.

Hailey Harris a successful life coach with a hefty social media following is single and a bit career obsessed and doesn’t have much of a personal life, that is until her ex Liam comes back into town. He’s looking good, she’s thinking perhaps a second chance until awkwardly meeting his fiancée, gorgeous wealthy hotel heiress Sonia banks. After only dating for 6 months she felt it her place to step in and “save” Liam from a terrible future after seeing a vision of divorce papers.

Things don’t go according to plan when Liam’s best friend Warren, long time enemy of Hailey thanks to awkward meeting in an airport which resulted in the two getting banned to travel. She was trying to save him from a career ending sports injury, he thought she was pranking and got her into trouble as well and the two have been at odds ever since.

Hailey volunteers to help Warren plan an engagement party for the couple all while having her own agenda to brake them up (saving Liam and maybe giving them another chance) until things between Warren and her change.

It’s forced proximity, enemies to lovers, will they won’t they.

There were definitely moments I was kicking my feet and routing for the two. It did have some cheesy bits and I wasn’t a fan of the tropes being in the character inner dialogue, it just seemed a bit odd and not very realistic.

Final Thoughts:
The ending was a little rushed but i did enjoy the book overall. I wouldn’t suggest this book for fantasy lovers because it’s really just a romance book with minimal fantasy element but I’d suggest it for romance readers or perhaps as a pallet cleanser in between large world building epic fantasy books seeing that this was a fast and easy read.

Unfortunately, this book didn't do it for me. At first glance, it seemed like it could be a good fluffy read - which in the grand scheme of things, it is.. however, there were some things I didn't enjoy.

1. I didn't enjoy that the tropes were written into the dialogue the characters shared. For me, those are just things that you pick up one - they don't have to be spelled out for the reader.
2. The ending didn't do anything for me - it felt more like the book just ended without too much thought.

That being said, this was exactly as I thought - a fluffy romance read. Parts of it were a bit corny but that's to be expected. I wouldn't say I wouldn't recommend this book to friends; it just wouldn't be high up on my list of books to recommend.

2.5/5 Stars

I really enjoyed reading this book, the characters were everything that I was looking for from the description. It uses the romance element perfectly and enjoyed the way it worked in the genre. I was never bored when reading this and glad it worked with the doomed wedding. I loved the idea of fate and glad it was so well done. Jennifer Snow has a great writing style and the characters were what I was hoping for.

I enjoyed this book. This was the first book I have read by Jennifer Snow, I can see myself reading more by her. It was funny, romantic, and steamy. I loved the ending. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

An entertaining read for fans of enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, and a touch of magical realism.

Hailey has a gift. When her palms connect with another person’s palms, she is able to see their future. She has used this ability to build a successful life coaching business but not without some setbacks. When she sees her ex-boyfriend (and his new fiancee) she feels obligated to meddle in their relationship. But will her plans to sabotage the upcoming nuptials be foiled by the handsome best man?!

I did not quite understand Hailey’s job as certified coaches (though maybe she doesn’t have a certification) don’t typically give advice but focus on listening, asking questions, and supporting their clients by allowing them to come up with their own goals and action steps. There is a lot of focus on pointing out physical features which is not my preference but, overall, this was a light and fun read and Hailey and Warren have lots of chemistry. 3.5 stars.

Thank you to Harlequin and NetGalley for the opportunity to read a copy.

The concept of this book sounded like a fun time. Hailey Harris is a life coach who sees glimpses of the future. The love interest Warren is her ex's best friend whose life she ruined...or did she save it? Together, they need to either help Hailey's ex and his new fiance towards the altar or break them up once and for all.

Honestly, I should've looked into the author's other work more closely before picking this up. I don't read much traditional romance these days, so I would've realized this wasn't for me before reading it. There's some fun, corny fluff in here but not enough to get me past moments I don't expect to see in modern romances (ie. the ex's new fiance withholding sex & use of the phrase "pussying out"). There were also a couple of odd bits where tropes became part of the dialogue:

"A few weeks ago, we were enemies. Now lovers? Seems ridiculously ironic."
"It was just a forced proximity thing. That was never going to work."

That said, I related to Hailey Harris' imposter syndrome and constant drive to do better. Former pro football player Warren shows some growth and willingness to better himself, which is always nice to see. & a scene of seduction via dancing to an old boy band song was always going to be a good time. If you're a longtime contemporary romance reader looking to dip the tiniest toe into the paranormal, this will probably work well for you.

Thanks to NetGalley and Canary Street Press for the e-ARC!

This was an interesting story, with a fun psychic twist. I wish the ending had been a little more thought out, but the journey of self discovery was a good one. I definitely would read this author again! Since this was an advance copy, it was sometimes confusing as to which point of view you were reading, so hopefully they’ll add that in before it goes to print.

With this novel, Snow was able to create fully fleshed-out characters that could have been standing right in front of me. Each character was unique, interesting, and dynamic. I was impressed at how the author could get me so on board with everything that was going on. And, I seriously couldn't put this down and would definitely be recommending it.

I read All Signs Point to Malibu in one sitting because I could not put the book down. I kept reading to discover what was going to happen with Hailey, Sonia, Liam and Warren. The prologue set the tone for an unexpected twist in the story line. I was intrigued and anxious to see what caused the maid of honor to run from the wedding. Hailey has a special gift and can see the future. She was able to build a Life Coaching business based on her gift, She never told anyone about the gift and at one point began to wonder if she should be interfering with fate and if she really had helped her clients. Should she use her gift when she foresees that her ex-boyfriend and his fiancee's marriage could end badly? Hailey has to make a decision while also worrying about the impact on the relationship she is building with Warren since he is Liam's best friend. Now, that I finished this novel, I will be waiting to see the movie based on it.
