This book was everything I knew it would be. It’s got the flirty banter. It’s got the sassy heroin who deserves all the love. I literally love when there is cute emails involved and then you have like the hidden identity kind of and you have all the lovely banter. This book was so cute.

Teagan has been one of my favorites for a while and this one is no exception to that. This book was so much fun!
It had me smiling through the whole book. Olive and Jude have the best banter and messages.
Olive O'Brien, a plus-size model and influencer, never expected that sliding into Jasper Rafferty's DMs would lead to anything. Jude Rafferty took over his brother's social media, he's intrigued by Olive's authenticity, which is vastly different than he's used to. What will happen when his secret is discovered??!!
Both Olive and Jude had the best support system. Annie is a great friend to Olive. Jasper and Cait were great siblings to Jude and really good side characters in this book. I'm crossing my fingers that Jasper will get a book too.
I absolutely love a good secret pen pal / wrong number trope and Teagan has always been one of my favorites at it.
...Let's get textual is still one of my favorite. I loved the banter between Olive and Jude. Their DMs made me laugh with the corny jokes, talks of chicken n aliens. I also found the book had a great plus size representation and everything that comes with being a plus size woman and the struggle and self image.
Overall, this book was a lot of fun to read. I truly enjoyed the laughter it brought.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advance copy

Liked this one a lot, I’ve loved all the books by this author so this wasn’t a surprise to me. How can you go wrong with these tropes?

So this was a sweet story and I liked that both of the characters had a certain amount of fame (rather than the famous/common pair up). Olive is an instagrammer and model while Jude is an actor. I loved his siblings too. The overall story was sweet and played on the whole "you've got mail" idea except using tech and direct messaging. I enjoyed learning more about each character and while the story was unbelievable (why would you assume that your personal information was safe when writing to an actor's instagram account? Olive did and used it as a place to store her diary-like information), the characters were just well developed enough to make this reader entrenched in the story. I did think parts were really slow but there was enough movement for me to flow through the story. Overall a good read.

This book was super cute! The characters had a great chemistry and banter and it was a lot of fun. I liked the relationship not only between Olive and Jude but Jude and his siblings and Olive and Annie. They all worked well together and I was rooting for the happy ending! Such a fun, easy read!

I had trouble with the story but it was because I don't prefer influencers and all the bullshit with fake news, paparazzi, and all the yellow pages and they are a huge part of this story. Olive and Jude are ok and have a few funny moments but nothing new.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgalley

The DM Diaries is an entertaining story! I found myself laughing as well as feeling compassion for both characters.
This book had quite the dilemmas that most people face, except these characters are in the limelight.
Its an enjoyable read with some interesting people and emotional moments as well. I applaud Ms Hunter for writing it. I have always loved her work and it didn’t disappoint!

"If there's anything I've learned, it's that life is too short not to forgive, and really too damn short not to love."

Olive O'Brien is a plus-size model, living with her roommate Annie and going on with her life trying to succeed in a world where plus-size women are looked down upon and sometimes bullied.
Her therapist advised her to write down her feelings and thoughts but what Olive did was write a digital diary not on an app BUT using Jasper Rafferty's DMs as a method to write down everything she is feeling coz in the end who would read them, he isn't going to check out his DMs coz he is a very famous Hollywood actor.
However, fate had other plans where Jude Rafferty for reasons explained in the book had to log in to his brother's account and so he came upon Olive's DMs and couldn't stop himself from reading and TEXTING HER!!!
So, what started as a msg continued to talk daily while Olive thought that she was texting his brother.

As for Jude Rafferty, he is the youngest brother in the Rafferty family. They come from money and fame and he's making his comeback movie and focusing on bringing back his career. Never did he think that he would find love in this unexpected way but life has other plans for them and things are about to get EXCITING!!!!
Loved every single page of this book. It was funny, sweet, and romantic.
It focused on how famous people are viewed and deemed and how tough that life could be especially if you are trying to have a relationship in a world where there's no privacy.
I LOVED Jude and Olive they were so cute together and he was a total cinnamon roll hero.
Highly recommend making sure to pre-order your copy 😉.
Thank you so much @netgalley and the publisher for granting me an ARC of #TheDMDiaries in exchange for my honest review.

I loved Teagan Hunter's Texting series and so I was excited by this book The DM Diaries. This book is a fun read and the texting relationship between the two MCs brought a smile to my face so many times.

3.5 ⭐

Olive is a plus size IG model that had been using the DMs of a famous actor as her personal online diary thinking he would never read them... which he doesn't, but his younger brother does. And to say that Jude is intrigued by Olive is an understatement. There is this instant kinship and spark that happens between them and as luck would have it, these two unknowingly had already interacted in real life by frequenting the same coffee truck.

Both Jude and Olive have a plethora of insecurities that while are a bit different they also are the part of the reason that they connected so easily. Olive does have this strong love yourself and independent woman vibe but she still secretly struggles to love herself at times while Jude also exudes confidence but secretly longs to do the job he loves without being part of Hollywood's Rafferty acting dynasty and just be seen for who he is as a person. I love the friendship that these two form- their conversations are so entertaining. I wasn't surprised at Olive's reaction when she learns the truth of her new online buddy- it seemed par for course. I loved the sass that Olive had and the way she made Jude work to get back on her good side- but I was a bit bummed as their relationship moved from friends to a bit more because her reactions and the way she hurt Jude felt opposite of the way that she acted for the entirety of the story to that point.

Jude was my favorite- his inner monologue, his actions and even his heartbreak had me wrapped around his finger the whole time. All the Rafferty siblings were pretty great though- I think they added so much to the story that was both humor and heart.

I did like the overall story and the way that things came together in the end. I wouldn't even mind getting another book for Jasper in the future!

This was a delightful romance. Olive was such a fun heroine and Jude was the sweetest hero - the banter between the two of them was just perfection. I thought the pacing of how everything played out worked well and I was really rooting for Jude and Olive as a couple. I also really liked the side characters - they were just as engaging as the MCs and added so much fun to the overall story.

Jude and Olivia are a great unlikely match but I also loved the supporting characters. Jude's relationship with his siblings and Olivia's relationship with her roommate were absolute crucial parts of the story. Though I didn't love the third act breakup, it was still an adorable read

This was a fun read about a plus size model/influencer and an actor from Hollywood royalty. I really enjoyed the main and supporting characters. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more books to come. Life is busy and it seems like it takes more from a book to keep my interest. I never felt like I should put this one down.

I voluntarily read an early copy.

✨ARC Review✨. All the opinions expressed are my own.
Rating 4.5
Olive has been using Jasper's Instagram DM as her "journal". She thought she could easily get away with this because she thought Jasper's instagram was handled by his publicist because all his posts were mostly generic. Here's the kicker though, Jasper's brother, Jude, took over the job of handling Jasper's social media accounts, and that is when he stumbled upon Olive's messages. He started responding to them as if he was Jasper, and as they say the rest was history, I really really enjoyed reading this book. Highly recommend checking it out.

I'm kind of on the fence when it comes to The DM Diaries. I really loved the first half and the banter between Olive and Jude, but the last half lost me.

DNF at 20%, the storyline sounded promising but at 20% little of anything has happened. I thought the characters would have more dimension at this point. A single returned DM is the only thing to happen so far, I couldn't continue.

My last five stars, and wow it's worth every one of them.
It's been a long time since I read a star/famous romance, much less with a curvy character so well written.
.
I am also very used to reading her sport romances, of which I am a big fan.
.
Olive and Jude were perfect for each other, and the premise of it being epistolary even through dm was what first attracted me. But I couldn't put it down until I reached the end and then I was left thinking and wishing that it was the first in a series because there are so many characters that I want to continue reading.
.
Jude is an actor like his parents and grandparents before him and also like his successful brother Jasper, but after taking some time he is ready to return with the great success he has been recording for the last few months but when the first interview comes out very bad and his agent determines that he needs his brother's help to rehabilitate his image, he ends up entering his dms and is instantly brought in by the person who seems to use his brother's dms as a personal log
.
Olive O'Brien has been writing small daily entries for some time, only instead of having a notebook she sends them to an actor she admires in the hope that he will never read them. Until suddenly she gets an answer and her world turns upside down. What seems incredible turns into a small friendship but Jude doesn't know how to get out of the lie and confess that he isn't Jasper without losing her.
.
I really liked that it is located in New York, and how both characters found themselves in the middle of a city so full of people running from one side to the other, the chemistry and banter in every dialogue was exquisite, not to mention that I love the Rafferty brothers and Annie, excellent characters.
.
Another wonderful book by Teagan Hunter that I will re read soon.
.
Thanks to Teagan Hunter and Montlake for give me a copy of this beautiful book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion

As a fan of Teagan Hunter, I knew I was going to enjoy this one.

Olive and Jude were great, and their banter had me laughing out loud and grinning. Not to mention, Jude is probably one of the sweetest MMCs I’ve read about in a while. Olive is also that strong independent woman I love reading about in books (add the fact she’s curvy and you’ve got my vote). I do fee, there could have been a bit more depth in the characters, but I liked them anyways.

I enjoyed the secondary characters and hope we will get more books revolving around them.

The third act breakup wasn’t my favorite (but if I’m being honest, I always have issues with them).

This book definitely makes celebrities seem more like normal humans who are relatable.

The banter in this book is absolutely amazing. I love how unique the story was and how being plus-sized was never a factor for Olive's success or love life. The MMC, Jude, is someone who you wouldn't expect to like in a book but end up falling in love with. This book was fast-paced and made me smile and laugh the entire way through. The conflict and resolution towards the end made it even better!

This was a sweet and funny read. Jude’s the epitome of a cinnamon roll character. He was seriously adorable. They were both a bit of a mess though.
The story was good and I enjoyed the other characters. Laughed out loud a few times. However, I found myself skimming some paragraphs and there was a bit more repetition than I would have liked. Repeated statements and such that I hurriedly read past to get on with the story.
Overall, I liked it.
