As always, Ms. Reus delivers a thrilling blend of romance and suspense that will hook readers from the first page. The story features Reese, a grumpy yet competent security expert with a firm no-relationships policy, especially not with men who exude 'golden retriever energy'—charming, friendly, and way too appealing for her own good. However, Reese's self-imposed rules are challenged when she ends up sharing more than just professional space with her disarmingly handsome coworker, Constantine (affectionately known as Cash). Cash, is everything Reese isn't. Despite his sunny disposition and considerable wealth, he's experienced his own share of heartbreak, which makes him wary yet hopeful in matters of love. His chemistry with Reese is palpable, and the forced proximity of an undercover mission at a couples' retreat only fans the flames of their attraction.

The plot thickens deliciously as what starts as a simple undercover operation spirals into a dangerous, life-threatening situation. The dynamic between Reese and Cash evolves beautifully amidst this chaos, with Reese's tough exterior slowly cracking to reveal a vulnerability that Cash is more than ready to embrace.

What sets this book apart is its perfect balance of witty banter, romantic development, and suspenseful twists. It leaves readers eagerly anticipating more adventures, hoping to see the stories of these other characters.

First I would like to thank Author Collective 20 for providing me an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is the story of Reese, security specialist, who after her best friend's wedding decided to hook up with Cash and now has to figure out how to work with him everyday. When Reese and Cash are put on an assignment together as a "fake" couple they are forced to spend a lot of intimate time together while trying to find a missing girl. Cash has been interest in Reese since the minute he met her and after their hookup he hoped it was finally time, but Reese did a runner and avoided him. When they are assigned together his goal is not only to do their job but also convince Reese that he is worth the risk of heartbreak.

What I loved:
- Book series, this is the second in a series and I just love how all of the characters from the first book and previous series get featured throughout the story
- Sunshine/Sunshine, I think this is a unique situation where neither Reese nor Cash are "grumpy" but Reese is definitely the darker of the two but I do enjoy that they are both more positive type characters who are just fighting attraction to each other
- Twist, the assignment Cash and Reese are sent on appears to be one thing but as the story progresses I was not expecting how everything ended up
- Spicy, even though we only get flashbacks to their night after the wedding when they did finally get together it was good

Overall, I really loved this book. I have read a lot of books by this author and this is one that has absolutely stuck with me cause I just loved Cash and Reese so much. If anyone out there is looking for a romantic suspense with a great couple, fun "mystery", good amount of spice and overall amazing group of characters please check this book or any in the series out!

Amazing story! Reese and Cash were a dynamite duo. This definitely wasn’t a one-time thing, but Reese was stubborn and Cash had his work cut out for him.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

I loved this book which was kind of backwards from normal romance books - it is usually the guy who is grumpy and the woman is the cheery, sunny person but with Reese and Cash - nope! Reese is definitely not a happy person and usually frowning while Cash is very upbeat and friendly. Which kind of irritates Reese especially because she is very attracted to Cash against her own wishes!

They are assigned a case as an engaged couple and Cash is going to use that to get close to Reese and not give her a chance to get away because as Hailey mentioned, Reese is a runner.

At the wellness center that they are sent to investigate the disappearance of an employee, they must act the loving couple that is newly engaged and Cash is using every opportunity to show Reese that he would make a great husband for real.

There is so much drama, secrets, and action throughout the book that I had to read it in one sitting because I wanted to get to their HEA and find out if the next book will be about Rowan and Adalyn and it is! So, now I have to wait for their story because Rowan has some major apologies owed to Adalyn!!

A new series, new characters, with a glimpse fo the olden and golden characters making a welcome appearance.

Katie Reus’s new series, Redemption Harbor Security” continues with Constantine in the crossharis of love “Fighting For Reece. Both have a past with fears and insecurities to deal with and going undercover as a couple at a spa retreat sets the stage to get past those fears, if they can survive the death around them.

I like these new characters in her new series. Loyal, faithful and devoted to each other, I’d love to see the rest of the siblings finding their true love. Katie Reus is a pro with her narration and plots and reading her stories is always a balm to my heart. I enjoy them to the fullest!

Gifted an ebook for an honest review.

A big thank you to NetGalley and the author for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, but reads well as a stand alone. This is Reese and Cash's story. It is a bit convoluted, with some suspense. I found it very cute but totally unrealistic-at least to me. Very outside of my worldview. It is a fun read and I like all the characters. 4 stars

I have never read a bad book by this author, and this is no exception! This is Cash and Reese’s story. The go undercover at a couples retreat to find a missing girl. But is that the only thing they are doing under the covers? Hot romance, action and suspense.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. Thank you for allowing me to review

The second book in the series continues shortly after the first one ends, Hailey and Jessie's wedding. As best man and maid of honor, Reese and Cash hook up after the wedding. Reese has been fighting her attraction to Cash, because she has trust issues.iSo does Cash, but he knew Reese was the one for him shortly after they met. One of the reasons that he joined Redemption Harbor Security, aside from boredom and looking for a new challenge was being close to Reese. A case of a missing young woman sends Reese, Cash, Rowen and Adalyn to a resort in Montana. Reese and Cash are posing as a married couple, but for Cash it is real. By the end of the case Reese is all in. But meanwhile they have to find the missing woman (or corpse, because they already suspect she is dead), figure out what is going on at the resort, deal with harsh weather conditions and ferocious wildlife.

This is a very exciting story with wonderful characters, lively banter, a mystery and danger. Can't wait for number 3. I read a gifted advanced readers copy from NetGalley.com. This is my unbiased, honest and voluntary review.

Redemption my Harbor Security quickly became my new one-click series to read and Katie Reus hit the mark again with Cash and Reese. While undercover, things escalate quickly, both in their case and personally. We get suspense and romance with some twists and a HEA. Perfect reading for those who love romantic suspense.

Reese and Cash are a great team. Reese tries pushing him away but soon learns that is not in her best interests. When they pair up to find a missing woman, things move fast and furiously for both the suspense and their relationship. The emotions and the twists and turns keep the reader on edge. The secondary characters bring dimension and depth to the story. I can't wait for Rowan and Adlyn to get their story. The writing moves smoothly and logically. This is a nice sized book that you will read quickly.

Another action-packed romance from Katie Reus. Reese has a one night stand with Cash, but he wants more. Then they are assigned to go undercover as an engaged couple. The sparks and the bullets fly! I liked the development of the relationship between them and the twists in the case.

Thank you Netgalley for allowing me access Fighting for Reese in exchange for my honest opinion.

If you like action and suspense then this is the series for you. Fighting for Reese is the second title in the Redemption Harbor Security series, following the main characters Constantine aka Cash and Reese. I'm giving the story a 4 stars out of 5. I thoroughly enjoyed the chemistry between Cash and Reese. I found it to be a quick read.

I loved Cash and Reese and enjoyed everything about their story. It was action packed and kept me entertained from beginning to end.

The characters in this series are great. I can't wait to read Rowan and Adalyn's story's story next!

Fighting for Reese was a fantastic romantic suspense novel featuring the intrepid employees of Redemption Harbor Security. With a great mystery involving a missing woman and set at an exclusive couples resort in Montana Cash and Reese are soon hot on the trail. Never one to turn down an opportunity, Cash decides to take advantage of the one bedroom in their chalet and make his move on Reese, the colleague he’s lusted after since he first met her.

I loved the first book in this series but if anything, this book is even better. With a well written story and a plot filled with plenty of drama and suspense, the Redemption team soon find out that a missing woman is merely the tip of the iceberg. Cash and Reese make a fantastic couple with plenty of chemistry between them and a mutual respect for each others' skills in the workplace. I did find the side story between Rowan and Adelyn a bit distracting but I’m assuming this was a lead in for the next book.

Reese is a jam-up hacker working with friends at Redemption Harbor Security. Cash is part of her friend group and they have a nice repoire with each other. But they are most certainly attracted to each other. Although Reese would never admit just how much she likes Cash. When they go undercover at a couples' retreat, it's the perfect time for Cash to woo her and solve a mystery of course. As the crap starts to hit the fan, Reese and Cash must face danger and their feelings for each other.

Katie Reus is being added to the list of authors that I really like. She writes in the same genre as Leslie North (whom I adore) where the FMC is a bit of a bad ass and the MMC has military/police/etc training and has to protect the FMC in some capacity. The stories are usually a bit of a slow burn and turn spicy towards the end.

I really like this title. Cash is an absolute dream of an MMC. He is likable right out of the gate and you end up cheering for him and Reese from the start. I love that.

Love is in the air for Reese and Cash. Only problem is Reese has problems with people being rich and everything Cash touches turns to gold. He is determined to win her over. Working closer together while undercover at a posh resort, Reese and Cash along with another ‘fake’ couple’ must work together against the odds to locate a missing woman and get out alive. Stay on your toes while reading this one. It has it all, murder, infidelity, crooked cops and mystery. #katiereus #netgalley

Fighting for Reese by Katie Reus is book Two in the Redemption Harbor Security Series. This is the story of Reese and Cash. This is a interconnecting series so it does add to your enjoyment I felt if you have read the previous book. Cash and Reese had a hookup at a friends wedding but that was it for Reese but Cash wants more. Then these two have to work together which just brings them closer. Enjoyed this author's writing and I hope to read more from her soon.

Thank you so much to Netgalley, Katie Reus and Author Collective 20 for an E Arc of this book for exchange of my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Katie Reus does it again! I think at this point it is fair to say I'm a superfan of her writing and I am loving this Redemption Harbor Security Series. Fighting for Reese is a must read! While this book is a standalone, I do recommend the first book so you can get little snippets of their initial meeting and chemistry. I was obsessed with those two and the second I finished Fighting for Hailey I was ready for this book.

In this book Cash and Reese's chemistry finally gives into them hooking up and Reese running the morning after. Cash can't get her out of his head, which lucky for them both they get to go undercover as an engaged couple.

In this book I could tell how much Katie Reus has honed her craft. There was a very good balance between the romantic storyline, the tension and chemistry and then the suspense story line was very prominent and intriguing. I think this is one of her best instances at giving us foreshadowing of the next couple, but not too much where it's overwhelming. I loved Cash, he was such a fun MMC and I love a guy who is a sucker for the leading lady from the beginning. Reese is smart and very capable and his perfect match. Also, we are getting more Skye and I fucking love her ok!

Overall I enjoyed this so much and I recommend.

Adalyn and Rowan's romance was teased in this book as well, with a few parts written from their point of view and I am so in for what's to come! Rowan apparently had misunderstood some of Adalyn's actions which led to him resenting her a little bit. I can't wait for their book and Rowan's groveling!

Cash and Reese's relationship progression was good and I liked how balanced the romance and the suspense were. I love the undercover trope where the main characters have to pretend to be in a relationship only to realize in the end that they belong together and they are no longer pretending. Both of them were interesting characters and I loved their dynamic. I liked that the characters were focused on their job and actively worked because many times the working part becomes an afterthought in books like this one.

I would definitely recommend the book. It can stand on its own, but for a better experience and less confusion, I would suggest reading the first book in the series as well. Having loved both books so far, I believe you will (at least) like them as well.

Fighting for Reese by Katie Reus is another book in the Redemption Harbor Security Series. Characters from the first series make an appearance with it beginning at Jesse’s and Hailey’s wedding. From there it is all Cash’s and Reese’s story with two other supporting characters that I hope get their own story too.

As always with a Reus book there is a high degree of suspense along with some steamy bedroom scenes. From early on you agree with Cash that Reese is the woman for him. I adore this strong man who had no problem putting his feelings out there but playing the long game since Reece is a “runner”.

Twists and turns that were not part of the mission come up making this a complicated well-done plot. You can’t go wrong with a Katie Reus romantic suspense book. This is a great one.
