I loved this audio version of daily meditations on codependency. It's great to have the option of listening - I process things differently hearing it rather than seeing it on the page. The narrator did a great job.

Thank you to #NetGalley and #DreamscapeMedia for a free copy of #MoreLanguageOfLettingGo by Melody Beattie. All opinions are my own.

3.5/5 rounding to 4 Stars! Thank you, NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this audiobook of More Language of Letting Go by Melody Beattie narrated by Liz Cole.

I am a huge fan of Melody Beattie, especially after reading her "Codependency No More". LOVE her books. This audiobook has been just a nice reminder for the daily readings. I feel like I'm at the stage of my life where...it's to godly for me. There were some important lessons, but this was a little bit too religious for me to listen to at this time. I'd liked to give this another try after some time. My favorite page is always the discussion about boundaries. THIS is what everyone needs to learn about themselves and to accept things you cannot change. Definitely great audiobook to listen. I'm more of a physical learning and would most likely get her physical book on this.

Thanks!

Oh, the narrator did a fantastic job too!

I haven’t read the whole thing as I received it as an ARC from NetGalley, but so many of the daily readings have already been spot on for my life. As a recovering addict and someone that’s always been codependent I find the topics so comforting and compelling. The audiobook narrator is fantastic as well and I’m so grateful I received this!

A good resource that I listened to in audio after reading the book. Full of daily affirmations or meditations to be used with journaling. Highly recommend.

I first started reading Melody Beatty decades ago, when I was dealing with depression and alcoholism. She relates personal stories and offers loving advice on how to be healthy, set boundaries, and accept what you can't change. This book has daily meditations so you can experience something inspiring every day. I listened to the audiobook, narrated perfectly and kindly. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me listen to this

I love MB books and her work changed my life. I have read several books multiple times and have her app on my phone for daily inspiration

That said, this book was too “god” focused for me. I quit before leaving January because the religious aspects were not for me and a real turn off. I did find important lessons and. Thoughts woven in to what I read but ultimately found this too Christian
