A lovely, and long enough for a bedtime story in one, book. The illustrations are great and show real action. They grabbed my little one’s interest and the dashing about the page to follow the story was also great. The characters of this series are cheeky and have real personalities which appeal and each book comes across as a real adventure no matter how prosaic the topic. A hit in our house!

I wasn't expecting this book to be Scottish, but once I realized that it was, I loved it! It was a different and more fun reading experience for me.
I thought that this book had a clear plot, and the story was very easy to follow. Overall, I found this book to be very entertaining.
One thing I would add to this book is a little more detail about McTavish building the bicycle. For example, you could mention tools he uses, or steps he takes to make the bicycle. I would also change the title to be a little more descriptive of the story, rather than just one word.
But, besides those two things, I did genuinely enjoy reading this book. Great job!

The tale follows Oscar as he tackles the daunting task of learning to ride a bicycle, with the unwavering support of his friend McTavish. This cute story is not only filled with charming illustrations but also carries a powerful message about friendship, courage, and the importance of trying new things. It's a wonderful read for both kids and adults alike, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent flipping through its pages.

have a thing for books about cats and/or rabbits, and I will almost always read any books featuring them!

Two anthropomorphic rabbits find a banged-up bicycle on rubbish day. One is skeptical, the other decides they simply must fix, and ride, it.

Bicycle: An Oscar the Rabbit and Friends story, is a story of trying again and again. I am the kind of person that always thought that only things I am naturally good at, are worth doing, and I think learning to embrace something that you are not good at, it a very valuable lesson. As a rabbit mom, I might not think the illustrations are the most accurate - but then again, my rabbits neither talk nor ride bikes, either, so let’s let Oscar and friends live happily in their anthropomorphic world!

This book gave me the giggles. When a rabbit finds a bicycle, he thinks the natural thing to do is ride it. But can rabbits even ride bicycles?
Nothing goes as expected but the rabbit and his friends work together to try to make it happen. Some of the outcomes looked hilarious. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

Cute concept for a story and great messages about trying again and fixing things up to be used again. Unfortunately, it reads like a first draft and could definitely be edited to be more sharp and clear.
