Taylor Swift is one of THE musical icons of the last decade. Her albums and world tours have given her global fame, chart topping songs, and the undying love of her millions of fans.

This book, in the ever successful series of biographical books, Little People, Big Dreams, continues the theme of showing how anyone can realise their ambitions with effort and application. With a young granddaughter who loves Taylor Swift when all I know is her name and that she is a singer, reading this book seemed like a no-brainer! There is just enough information to engage the interest of the biggest fan as well as those just discovering her music. It is written in an easy to understand manner with friendly, relatable illustrations throughout which will appeal to all ages.

I was able to read an advanced copy of this thanks to NetGalley and the publishers, Quarto Publishing Group, but the opinions expressed are my own. This particular biography will surely be a popular addition to this great series of easily accessible books for curious children aged five and over.

This book series is a favourite of mine. I was so excited to see one for Taylor Swift. As with all the books in this series, it highlights the person's childhood to where they are now. The series shares the inspirations, ups and downs that the person it is about went through. For Taylor Swift, one of the most popular musical artists in the world, this story shares her family history and how it inspired her to work as hard as she did and become the massive success she is today.

This is another great addition to this amazing series and swifties of all ages will love it!

Thanks NetGalley for the early copy. Taylor Swift is an icon singer who inspires youth everyday. I loved the layout of the book and the message it conveys. Little people who had big dreams and pursued their dreams and achieved them are worthy of books talking about their journeys. I read this with my 10-years-old boy and we loved it equally. Though I don’t listen to music very much and I am not up to date with artists and music I have noticed Taylor Swift and her kindness and so I was interested in learning some more about her.

Little People, BIG DREAMS - Taylor Swift is a perfect gift for young Swifties and their parents.
To read about Taylor Swift has been kinda interesting for me since I didn't knew very much about her background.
Just like in the other Little People, BIG DREAMS the illustrations is wonderful and well written.
I'm hoping this book will get translated to Swedish so I can add it to my daughters collection of these beautiful books.

If you know a young Swiftie then you just have to get this book to that person.

Calling all Swifties, both young and old! Little People, Big Dreams have put together another lighthearted, informational biography about the biggest name in music today. This children’s book about Taylor Swift offers both the good and bad of her rise to fame. It has facts about her childhood and inspirations, as well as her hopes and dreams. This book, like other books in this series, can be read to younger children and then read by older children. It is definitely a great book to add to shelf.

Another cute biography. I just wish these included a little bit more information than about what the famous person is currently good at. Surely Swift was involved with something else other than music at some point in her life...? Still a sweet little book.

This is a super cute book and perfect for children. Taylor Swift was a little girl with a big dream. Although other kids her age didn't think what she was doing was cool, she stayed the course and kept her eyes on her goals. Even as an adult, she learned that sometimes it's lonely at the top, and being in the spotlight can be exhausting. She's faced a lot of criticism but continued to move forward. This story teaches children that your dream is your dream alone. We are not on this earth to constantly seek approval from others and should focus on doing what makes us happy.

Such a cute kids book to introduce your favorite little one to Taylor Swift. The illustrations were perfect and captured the essence of Taylor, along with being so fun and bright. The author picks out the perfect moments of Taylor’s life to talk about how she continued to work hard and find her own voice throughout her life, ultimately leading her to success. Lastly, I love how the author also highlights how down to Earth Taylor is besides being a superstar. Amazing read!

Little People, Big Dreams - Taylor Swift by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara

This picture book biography tells the story of Taylor Swift, the most influential popstars, of recent decades. Including all of the necessary biographical information but told as a children's story, this book describes the events of her childhood and adolescence as well as unique facts about her like her grandmother was an opera singer.

As with all of her amazing biographies, Vegara creates informative and carefully crafted picture books that are perfect for young readers. Each page of her books has beautiful, colour-filled illustrations with about 3-4 lines of text. While they are biographical, they are also written in story form, demonstrating how young people can persevere, break barriers and do great things as they grow! The books end with a timeline and some pictures/biographical information about the subject.

I could definitely see this book in my Grade 2 classroom library and would recommend it to parents and teachers of children in the age 6-12 range. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

While wandering around NetGalley, I stumbled across this awesome new board book series for babies and toddlers. The vibrant, yet simple, covers displaying historical women that I have grown up learning caught my eye, and it instantly drew me to pick up a few of these books off the shelves. To be totally honest, I was so intrigued by these books that I ended up sitting right down to explore this new nonfiction board book series.

Through my reading and my post-reading research, I have learned that Little People, Big Dreams is a new series that focuses on introducing the youngest of readers to amazing, wonderful women that have influenced the world. Each book is purposely designed in order to highlight one woman who has made a difference in the world. It tells the story of that women's dream and how she was able to make her dream come true despite the biggest of obstacles.

I loved the simplicity of the design of the series, Little People, Big Dreams. The authors and illustrators who have worked on this project clearly understand their audience, and they have made each of the books reflect exactly what they want their youngest of readers to be exposed to. Designed for babies and toddlers, Little People, Big Dreams uses simple text and engaging pictures to tell the story of each woman in a kid-friendly manner.

Often times, my biggest complaint with board books is that they lack plots or messages. Even though board books are purposely designed for babies and toddlers, I absolutely believe they still need to be strong examples of books that contain both strong plots and messages. All age levels of children need to have access to great text.

I loved how Little People, Big Dreams designed their biography series for baby and preschool readers. There are not many nonfiction book series out there. This series is absolutely helping to pave the way to push the norm for what we typically think of when we think of baby books. Little People, Big Dreams series is a positive example of how even our youngest readers can read and learn from awesome books!

This book series is such a staple in the teaching community - the books really help to give young people a glimpse into the life work or various figures, icons and celebrities. I was so excited to see that Taylor Swift had been chosen to be a part of this series.

This book had all of the info needed for littles, as well as being an enjoyable read for older fans. It selected Taylor’s main achievements well, whilst retelling her rise to fame, acknowledging some challenges but focusing on the positive. The illustrations made my inner Swiftie squeal with delight. They were perfect and iconic of the different Taylor Swift Eras. I do think that the Eras tour could have gotten a grander section at the end but I appreciate that it was breezing over everything in her life and no trying to hype her up too much.

A great read and a perfect classroom book for little Swifties to enjoy. Maybe even inspire some to pick up a guitar!
