This was my first Rachel Hanna book and I will need to try and read it and not listen if I try another in the future. t was extremely difficult to follow this story due to the changes from character to character rapidly moving with no break to process the point of view had changed.

The general story was cute but I honestly barely remember what it was even about besides a car accident and losing her dog.

I appreciate the opportunity to listen to an early release of this story thanks to NetGalley.

With this being the fourth installment in the Jubilee series I just have to say that I was obsessed with this story. It touches on some of the residents here and there but automatically you are brought back to the Blue Ridge scenery. This was such a cute small town romance and I love how Ava Monroe is so strong while running away from problems she is still trying to focus on the now. Amazing read!!

- Small town
- Insta love
- Dual POV

This was short and sweet, listen. Set in the winter, it was a nice change of scenery for a hot day. This is part of a series, and although you didn't need to read the previous books to get through this book, I think I would have enjoyed it more with a bit of backstory the other books would have provided. Im a fan of insta-love, and this was very much with so our main characters falling in love over the course of less than a week. Being that this story was so short, the love aspect felt pretty rushed but was still an enjoyable listen. I also enjoyed the narration and thought it was nicely performed. Thank you, NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for the opportunity to listen and review this advanced copy.

Living in Georgia, and enjoying the area around Blue Ridge/Blairsville, reading this book (and the series) was a no-brainer for me; I can assure you, readers, Rachel Hanna gets it right. Her setting is almost like another character, and does not disappoint. She nails the caring, protective vibe of the small town. Ava and Jack are the protagonists, and we know they will find their way to each other as Rachel Hanna always gives us that warm, feel good ending, filled with hope. You just have to read the novel and share their journey to figure out how they get there! Enjoy the read!!!

This short and cozy romance was a fun read. I especially enjoyed the vivid descriptions of the setting...I could definitely picture where Ava and Jack actually were in the Blue Ridge mountain area. I liked their relationship and how it didn't have to unfold with a lot of drama. This was a clean boo and truly did not need the extra spice to make it interesting. The narration of this audiobook was all right. It didn't enhance the story nor did it take away from it. I'll be looking into more by Hanna in the future.
Thanks to #NetGalley and Dreamscape Select for this ARC.

This is book 4 in the Jubilee series. And once again it was worth returning to Jubilee. There are stories that we return to because of the characters, this is the place that captures us and makes us yearn for more. I would give anything to visit Junilee, this magical land that works like a mirror and makes you see your true reflection. In addition to the sweetness with which the author writes, this volume 4 has a very interesting theme, a bride who participates in a reality show to find her future husband and ends up running away on her wedding day. Not to mention that Eva has a four-legged best friend and that in itself is reason to love this book. The point I liked least was when Eva meets Millie, I was expecting the scene to be stronger and more striking, but apart from that point, the whole book is a
delight. Light and relaxed to help me relax.
Regarding the audiobook, I think there should be a longer pause between chapters and even between paragraphs. As it goes by so quickly, it sometimes becomes confusing to understand which character it is referring to.

Summary:
Ava is on the run from her very public almost wedding, when she finds herself stranded in a snowstorm on the Blue Ridge Mountains in the tiny town of Jubilee, Georgia. If that wasn’t bad enough when she steps out of her car to try to find an area with cell service, her beloved dog, Millie runs away. Ava tries calling for her and going after her, but the conditions are too dangerous. Then comes along Jack Sullivan, who was checking to see if anyone needs help along the roads. He sees her stranded truck and takes her to shelter back at his house and promises to help her find her dog when the weather is better. But the more time Jack & Ava spend together in this town, the more she realizes she might be falling for not only the man but the town as well.

Thoughts:
A love story based around a woman looking for her missing dog and finding a man who is just as invested in helping her find that dog. What more could I ask for in a romance? I felt myself panicking when the dog got away in the middle of that snowstorm and was very relieved when she was rescued. I immediately fell in love with all the characters, but particularly with our main couple, the runaway bride and the heroic mountain man. This was a wonderful small-town romance.

This was my first listen for this author and it was indeed a good story. I loved that Ava was driving in an old collector vehicle and was found by a single rescue guy, Jack. How cool is that! I was a little on edge until the dog was found, makes things exciting. It seemed every time she turned around something else was happening but eventually got things in order for a great ending. I really liked the Appalachian theme as I lived out there for a while. Overall this was a nice listen. My only feedback to the narrator would be to put a bit more pause in the chapters. I found myself backing up because I thought I missed something. Turns out I missed the chapter changes.

Thank you NetGalley and Rachel Hanna for the opportunity to listen to the audio version of the book in exchange for my honest feedback.

Blue Ridge Breakdown is a predictable, but enjoyable book about a runaway bride who gets stranded in the small town of Jubilee. She is rescued by a handsome stranger who is described as the most handsome man. Can Jubilee rescue Ava and her dog Millie?
The book is one in a series but I read as a stand alone.

Blueridge Breakdown is the fourth book in Rachel Hanna’s Jubilee series. Ava Monroe is a runaway bride, running from a disaster of a reality show that she has no idea what she was thinking when she became involved in it. Perhaps she was bored. Perhaps she was feeling desperate at not having found what she wanted in her life. Whatever it was, she now finds herself stranded in her late father’s antique truck with her beloved Boxer Millie by her on the side of a Georgia Blueridge roadway in a snowstorm.

As if sent from above, former deputy Jack Sullivan comes upon the snowed in truck after Ava had gotten out to try to find cell service and Millie had run off in the snow. Jack often patrols the area in such times so as to help any stranded motorists. On this day it is a beautiful and distraught lady he finds and convinces to come with him to wait out the storm. But the storm outside has no comparison to the one whirling within Ava.

This story is beautifully composed to show the storm Ava is facing both from her past and present decisions as well as the swirling storm around her. Ms. Hanna has written a lovely story trying to make sense of all the emotions spiraling within Ava and Jack as well as all the emotions that swell between them. I did very much enjoy this story and I do recommend it!

This was a short, sweet, feel-good rom-com. I enjoyed it!
It does feel like a Hallmark movie - and who doesn't love those?
I did not always enjoy the narrator- the reading felt rushed in several places. It made the multiple POV's transition abruptly.
Being familiar with the real-life story setting was fun. The Blueridge area is beautiful, & I could visualize all this taking place. The people there really are wonderful, just like in this story.

A cute, albeit predictable, little romance. I liked that she escaped in the old truck, it’s cute to think she was driving around in that piece of history. I was also pretty worried about the dog but happy that she found a nice warm home to rest in before finding her owner again.

🌀Synopsis
Ava doesn’t know where she’s headed, only that she needs to leave immediately. She takes off with her dog in her old truck and things don’t turn out so well. She ends up in a ditch in the snow, sure they’re going to freeze to death. Then when she opens the door to the truck her dog bounds out and she can’t look for her in the blizzard. Not sure what to do, Ava hunkers down in the truck and her only hope is that someone will pass by and see her.
Luckily for her Jack happens upon her path and when he throws open the door she’s shocked by how handsome this guy is. He convinces her to come back to his cabin to wait out the rest of the blizzard.
As she waits for her truck to be fixed and searches for her dog, she realizes she loves this charming little town she happened upon. After some time with him, she realizes she loves Jack, too. When her past comes knocking she needs to decide if she wants to go back or find a way to tell Jack how she feels.

A short and sweet romance that takes place between two people that have instant attraction for each other. Set in Jubilee, GA in the Blue Ridge mountains you will find many likable characters that make up this wonderful small town series. thank you to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for a chance to read and review this book in exchange for an honest review.

Cute little blue ridge read! I haven’t read any of the pervious jubilee books and I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything- so no need to go back before you read this one. The story is easy to digest and the narration production did a nice job. A cute and easy, if not predictable little love story that has you rooting for the two main characters. I always find books like this to be a perfect palate cleanser from my typical thriller books.

The Blue Ridge Breakdown
Rachel Hanna
Ava is a runaway bride. She escapes the wedding, grabs her dog and old truck. She heads to the Appalachian Mountains. She doesn’t know where she is going, she just has to go. The snow is piling up and her old truck isn’t up to the challenge. Millie her dog gets away from her. She climbs back in the truck for refuge but its cold and getting colder. Jack is looking for people stranded in the storm for he knows someone will need his help. He lifts Ava from the cold truck and takes her to his home.
They are attracted to each other. But she has a secret.
This is a sweet romance. It is wholesome and cute. This is a nice easy read. This is the type of book I want to read sitting next to a crackling fire while sipping a cup of steaming coffee. The characters are nice. Ava was keeping what she considered a deep dark secret but it really seemed rather silly.

Rachel Hanna is consistently one of my favorite authors. This book did not disappoint. The audiobook was wonderful also.

Escaping from her wedding, she goes up in the mountains to clear her head. She finds herself near death experience after her truck breaks down during a grueling snow storm. Thinking this is it, she's going to freeze to death. A bearded man comes to the rescue. What unfolds before, during and after the storm is anyone's guess. Read this book to find out.

I love everything by Rachel Hanna. However this book full short. I was hoping it was the same fun narrator from her South Carolina series. This narrator fell flat and unconnected to the book itself. The plot was meh to me.

A cute and cosy read, perfect to snuggle up and get lost in! A lovely narrator to listen along to, I now want to go to a snow covered mountain and hunker down in a cabin!
