I didn’t care for this one to full of cliches and syrupy nonsense to be interesting. It was like eating a candy bar in 30 minutes you want more . . It just was to full of cliches
Thanks to net galley and publisher for letting me review it

Eileen Goudge who writes about female friendships has written another book that will please Robyn Carr and Virgin River fans. Kyra Smith has fled her comfortable life on the east coast to escape from an abusive husband. She heads west. with no particular destination in mind. Along the way she rescues a chained dog who becomes her devoted companion. Once she lands in Gold Creek, California (Virgin River, anyone?) she meets women who not only offer her part time jobs, but friendship. Can love be far behind? The story is predictable, but ultimately satisfying. Recommended for all public libraries

I did enjoy reading All They Need to Know and I got through the book quite quickly. I particularly liked the ‘found family’ vibes from this book and felt the friend group was very wholesome.
I did find the writing style a bit slow paced and at times I felt the plot was predictable. I wished the build up and ending of the book went on for longer as I did feel the ending was a little rushed. Overall I did enjoy reading this book and really loved the friendship/found family aspect of the story. Thank you for Netgalley for providing me with this ARC. All opinions are my own.

This book wasn't for me. Kyra, the fmc, is on the run from her abusive husband and settles in a small town. She ends up making friends with "The Tattooed Ladies" and an ex-cop, Coop, the mmc. The love story between Kyra and Coop didn't feel convincing, it felt more forced or maybe it was just not well flushed out as a subplot. I didn't love the FMC either, she was very 2 dimensional for me. A lot about this story seemed very textbook. I think maybe if this is the type of book you are looking for it would be good, but I didn't enjoy it and would not recommend it. I really appreciate netgalley for giving me an arc read of this book, unfortunately I am not the target audience for this book.

I really enjoyed this book... the found family aspect was just so wholesome...I want to be a member of the Tattooed Ladies club! The friendships and women empowerment was really well done. I felt like I could easily see this turning into a series, gave major Virgin River vibes. I can't wait to continue reading this series! Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me a chance to read this early :)

All They Need to Know is the first book in the author E. Goudge’s new series. It follows Kyra running from an abusive marriage and her finding support in a new town. I loved the characters and the support they gave Kyra. I’m excited to read the rest of the series when it is released.

I read and really liked Eileen Goudge’s early novels. I was excited to read this latest book but, disappointingly, found it to be formulaic and a bit superficial. She seems to have changed her writing style or maybe I have moved on but I just couldn’t engage with her characters. I’m sure the book will be successful and enjoyed by many readers, just not by me sadly.

All They Need to Know by new to me author E. Goudge is the first book in her new Cold Creek Series.
Kyra is running from a bad marriage and lands on Cold Creek with picking up a stray dog on the way.
Frannoie is a tattoo artist struggling with her daughter's trouble.
And last Jo who's marriage is coming undone.
Just when things seems to settle down for Kyra new drama shows up.

A complex, complicated, well written story, suspenseful and angsty, full of unexpected twists and turns.

I loved the beginning of this book. I thought it started off very powerful. However, I felt like the main character only had one struggle to get over and so I thought her character fell flat. I also thought the love interest felt very forced. The climax felt anti climatic to me and it felt like the main character got off with very little struggle. I wish the author dove more into the subplot, instead we got a few paragraphs summing it up at the end. That said, I did enjoy this book. The dog, Ranger, was the best character in my opinion. The writting was very good. I just wish the plot did more. I wouldn't go out of my way to read this book but it was enjoyable. There were a few places with missing punctuation specifically in chapter five.

Running from an abusive husband, Kyra flees across the country from the east coast to the west coast. Picking up an abused dog, and find a small town with a group of strong and supportive women, things begin to look up. When a former cop helps her too, sparks slowly begin to fly. Liked this one and found it hard to put down. Would highly recommend.

Thanks to NetGalley and Lake Union for the opportunity to read All They Need to Know by Eileen Goudge, an author who never lets her readers down. The latest novel is Ms Goudge at her best giving us a group of women we would all welcome into our lives.
