DNF....I made it just over 30% of the way through the book before giving up.

As another reviewer said, this book is not a psychological thriller, or any type of thriller for that matter, that you would expect. I wanted more about her time in captivity, how she was abducted, etc... instead it reads as if someone is just giving you information rather than experiencing it.

The characters lacked any depth and personally I found Kayla to be incredibly immature and annoying. Initially I thought Kayla was probably no more than 16 or 17 years old, however she later mentioned her husband so clearly she's at least over 18. I get that what she went through (is going through) is severe, but her immaturity just dominated the story for me.
