Allison McCall, supervisor in the Romance and Proposal Department of Cupid Corp., firmly believes rules are meant to be followed, yet her own love life is unfulfilling.

Preston Carlyle, Allison's former boyfriend and one of her more creative agents, believes rules should be broken occasionally to give true love a chance. Only, he's having a hard time convincing Allison and Cupid his techniques are working.

From the disastrous paperwork and the frequency of Allison's visits to Cupid's office on Preston's behalf, she fears her position and his job are in jeopardy.
But when she finds out he's requested a transfer to the Holiday Security Agency, Allison decides to prove she cares for him...even if it means breaking a few rules.

Whilst it was a an enjoyable read it's not something that completely moved or interested me. The idea could have been fantastic if It had been made into more of a novel rather than a short story. The concept deserved more content and patience to fulfill its potential.

Character introduction was rushed, didn't quite make sense, I wanted to know more about Cupid, about his role, what his purpose/issues were. Although I'm open to the idea that this maybe the start of a series perhaps?

Was it enjoyable? Yes
Was is substantial? No
Would I read it again? Perhaps on the commute to work if I wanted to occupy myself with something.

Not bad, a little silly, and very predictable but a cute read in under 30 minutes.

This was such a fun novella .  What would you think Valentines day is run like a fortune five hundred business and run with an iron fisted Cupid who loves the rules . Let me introduce you to Allison and Preston . They work for Cupid and they have had a relationship but one wants more and wants to prove to the other that they belong together . Will they survive Valentines day and will they find their way back to each other .
This was a fun sweet read . The characters are well developed and funny as all get go . Preston is the guy you want as a date . He is fun loving and kind of a rule breaker , he is a stand up guy who any girl would want to have in her life .  Allison is the up and coming go getter , she is a rule follower and wants to do a great job so she can advance in her career . Sometimes you kind of want to shake her and say wake up buddy . You are missing the guy right in front of you.
This is a faced paced sweet book , you will be cheering for both Preston and Allison . You will be laughing so hard at the antics that these two get into . The only thing I wished was a little longer . Yes I know it was a novella but I would love to see a bit more back ground on both of the main characters . I had read this book in about an hour and loved every word . So if you want a fun book to read this weekend . Check it out
I was given this book by the publisher and netgalley for my honest review
