Pros: The title of this book caught my attention as soon as I saw it, and I knew that I am the intended audience for this book (I’m an overthinker, a worrywart, and maybe a bit of a hypochondriac who needs to be told she’s fine). I appreciated how practical this book is and that the author notes that there are times when the reader should speak to a medical professional, not just read a book. The tone of this book is as if a funny friend is giving the reader advice and a bit of tough love, which made for a light read on what could be heavier topics.

Cons: This might not be a con after publication, but the version of the ARC I read on Kindle did not work well formatting-wise. It was great, however, when I switched to the NetGalley app.

Thank you to NetGalley and Chronicle Books for the opportunity to read this book.

This book was written like a mini therapy session. Several health and wellness topics are discussed including exercise, diet, and stress which were presented in a myth and myth buster format. Although the book does not offer any groundbreaking tips, it is presented in a well though out manner and divided up into different sections to present serious and important advice in small digestible amounts, along with some humor. I would recommend this book.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book.
This was a very good one for me as it applied to me. I am a worrier and I have anxiety so I found this book to be interesting and also useful.
If you are a worrier, over thinker or a generally anxious person then this is a great book to read.
If you don’t fall into those categories then you may not enjoy it as much as I did.

This title really caught my eye. As someone who is definitely an overthinker and a worrywart in so many ways, I just needed to dive in. I love the layout of the book and the subject matter that is discussed. It feels like a discussion with a friend on how to help yourself, but in a fun way. It’s a friend that understands your worries and doesn’t judge you for feeling any sort of way.
The titles of some of the chapters were very funny, in example; “I don’t love fast food, it loves me”. Some topics discussed are pyshical health and mental health, as well as touching on nutrition, yoga, and social media rage.
Thank you to Netgalley and Chronicle Books for an eARC in exchange for my review

If you into a bunch of random facts for the WebMD set, you might enjoy this brief nonfiction. Similarly to the last page of a magazine, the prose is as colloquial & jokey, like that uncle (even unrelated) who sends yearly recaps to catchup with the fam.

Pretty Sure You're Fine by David Vienna is a reality check in a book to explain that no matter what you think for over thinkers to anyone in between you have this. Your life is going to be okay. You are going to achieve your goals. This book is like a friend or family member giving you tough love when it comes to your health and wellness goals. I like that they do mention that medical professional do need to be advised for certain topics but you are okay. This is a must read for any health lover .

Pretty Sure You're Fine: The Health and Wellness Guide for Hypochondriacs, Overthinkers, and Worrywarts by David Vienna includes easy, practical suggestions on how to simply overhaul your life.

The author uses his wit to provide easy suggestions to become a healthier version of yourself. As the author suggests, starting change only takes one small step. It boils down to making a commitment, looking at it as a gift you give yourself, remembering that everyone struggles, and putting one foot in front of the other.

The book and author's sense of humor reminded me of a good therapy session or chat with a close friend. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

I rate this a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Good, basic common sense advice about all sorts of health related issues (mental and physical), given in a fun, light hearted way. Nothing here is especially ground breaking, but it is an entertaining reminder that everything is probably going to be just fine. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
