Teaming up with her siblings to track the mystery men, Moira’s life turns upside-down when she learns her dad may not be dead. This was an action packed young adult novel with a little bit of magic and lots of ninja fighting. I loved that the main characters were three smart, witty, and caring teenage girls. The girls are ninjas in training and have to deal with the stressors of high school as well as their evil uncle. In this second book they have a new threat to deal with. People have gone missing and are being replaced by robots. They are worried that their physics teacher might be an evil robot. Also a deaf boy is being bullied by three bullies. The girls must learn to work together to help their fellow high school students as well as stop their evil uncle.

A highly recommend this book to all teenagers. I thought it had a wonderful message. It was also a quick read with lots of action to keep you turning the pages. Plus who wouldn't enjoy reading about girl ninjas who have a touch of ninja magic!!

Thank you to NetGalley and MG Wilson for the ebook of Ninja Girls in Power in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book in the series, and although I didn't read the first one, I didn't feel like I was missing a lot of information. The basics of the first book were given so there was context for what was going on here.

Moira, Mindy, and Marci are a trio of teenage sisters who have recently found that they come from a line of ninja and are now training to be ninja themselves. Their mother is deceased, and their father is missing, presumed dead, and in his will he left control of his million dollar business to 15 year old Moira, so she has become the focus of paparazzi, and it's hard to be ninja while under such scrutiny.

It doesn't stop Moira from making a new friend, David, who happens to be deaf and is being bullied at school. She takes it upon herself to start standing up for him, but it doesn't always go the way she would like.

Mindy, the oldest sister, is trying to pass her driving test and is having issues with her Physics teacher, who she thinks has it in for her. Marci, the youngest, is a tech wizard, and is always trying to be a part of the team.

All of the characters are likeable, and there are several storylines that coincide by the end of the book. There is a lot of talk about being ninja and ninja tools, but it's really about family and standing up for what's right.

All in all, a great YA novel if you like family bonds, supporting your friends, standing up for what you believe in, books with ninja, or are looking for something with a non-hearing character. This was a great, quick read.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. This was an actioned packed adventure. I liked that the sisters were just as capable to be ninjas and that that was the unexpected part. I’m looking forward to the next book!
