this was such a good time-traveling thriller, I was hooked on the plot and the world. The characters worked so well in this universe and I wanted them to succeed. I enjoyed the way Raquel Rich wrote this and I'm glad I was able to read this. I can't wait to read the sequel.

"You let our friendship dwindle away, too. So why were you so willing to drop everything and risk your life to travel with me across space and time, when you wouldn’t even stop by my home to try and talk to me when I stopped coming to the casino?” I couldn’t put my finger on what it had been that was making me question her motives until now. Her hinting that her intentions were not as pure as she’s been letting on all this time has finally given me the guts to face my hesitation about her."
