Description

Did you ever wish to be a superhero?

Rithwick Jahi Pringle, a.k.a. Ritz, has a keen imagination, vivid dreams, and unparalleled cyber skills, but his neurodivergent brain is out to get him! Paralyzing anxieties, symmetry-demanding OCD, and unbridled geekiness hobble his superhero missions.

He dons the superhero cape on The Dark Web. He wears a White Hat for the Agency by day but patrols the shadowy dark-web realm by night, dispensing Vigilante Justice to those beyond the Law's reach.

When a new, otherworldly Director takes charge of The Agency’s cyberwarriors, he is captivated, seduced, and drawn into a shadowy world beyond cybercrime, a deep underworld of dark alien villainy.

They come not in spacecraft, and they fight not with particle beams and lasers. They seek not to kill, enslave, or even dominate humanity but to dismantle civilization and return humankind to the stone age.

Allied with a friendly Alien faction and a budding young sidekick, his near-supernatural gift for cyber warfare is a powerful asset, but is it enough? Can the Hat turn the trick against humanity's would-be oppressors?

Join in this action-packed tale of Hackers and Spies; Aliens and Earthlings; Superheroes and Hats.

Wasn't sure at first, but then it grabbed me. Loaded with everything I enjoy in good science fiction - high tech, science, philosophy, sexiness, humor and lots to think about. Yes, I do definitely recommend it to all fans of sci-fi and maybe more.

I thoroughly enjoyed Undercover Alien. The characters were fascinating (especially the hero), the plot moved at a great pace, and the style in which it was written is truly unique. I don't think you'll find anything quite like it, no matter how long you scoured the pages of literature. I was impressed by the knowledge and expertise Nathan wove into it. Bravo!

I am definitely going to check out the other books in the series.

This was a great blend of humor and scifi I really enjoyed every part of this story. It was what I was hoping for in this type of book, it was a fun concept and a great universe. The characters did what I was hoping for and were well written in the story. It left me wanting more from this universe and this author.

"She’s awed and deathly afraid of him that much is certain, and yet they are close, possibly lovers. Anyway, he certainly appears to be the head guy. We also know that the assassin we call T-K and the dark web Kraken are the same. So, I think I owe Sprocket an apology—I had wrongly believed she was Kraken.”

This book is a lot of fun. It's always a pleasure to find a book like this which combines actual technology and realistic physics with sci-fi elements in a believable way. The characters were well done, the plot moved along at a good clip, and the writing style is truly unique. And it's quite funny. I'm a bit of a computer geek and this book really appealed to me. I especially liked the glossary almost as much as the story itself.

A fun romp with plausible cyber-security issues.
It was an interesting read and sometimes funny story, combining actual technology with believable science fiction. I enjoyed the characters and the pace that the book was written in.
Definitely different.

his was certainly confusing to start with, but it did not take long for the story to come together.

Then it was a non stop roller coaster of a ride.

It certainly had a good mix of action, romance and science.

Well worth a read.
