Description

When career-driven Olivia Farnsworth and Kingston Bedford refuse to act on their obvious chemistry, the town of Maple Falls schemes to pair the two up—and dance their way to another happy ending.

Olivia Farnsworth always has a plan and knows just what she likes. She likes her job as head librarian. She likes spending time with her aunt Bea and with her close-knit group of friends. She likes attending the cinema’s monthly Vintage Movie Night. What she does not like is stepping outside her comfort zone. But when Kingston Bedford, her best friend’s older brother, runs into her at the movies, that’s exactly what she does. She takes a chance on the gorgeous pediatrician she’s known her whole life—only to crash land her way into heartache. Twice. One year later, she’s determined to avoid him forever. Aunt Bea and her Bosom Buddies, however, have other ideas. Plans that begin with ballroom dancing lessons . . . and end with one of the Bosom Buddies getting a taste of her own matchmaking medicine.

Kingston never thought he’d be utterly alone—as his mother puts it—in his thirties. But somehow, he’s let his life spiral out of control. His career has taken over, leaving no time for romance. That is, until his clinic forces him to take a two-month sabbatical. But is it too late to start over with the girl he can’t get off his mind?

Luckily, the scheming town of Maple Falls is once again ready to help make sparks fly.

This was absolutely delightful. The plot was well-paced and captivating from start to finish. The characters were charming and witty. I highly recommend this fun and quick read! Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the advanced copy of the book.

What I’ve learned from reading other books by Kathleen Fuller is she has the most interesting, delightful, fun characters that get right into the readers heart from the beginning. This book is no exception.

This enchanting, delightful story takes us back to the small town of Maple Falls, Arkansas where Olivia, the town librarian depends on her very precise planning for all things. She is very predictable and as an example every Monday for many years she arrives 30 minutes early for Vintage Movie Night at the local Sunset Cinema. She sits in the same seat each time, seventh row, tenth seat and has the same drink, a Diet Coke. On one particular night a man sits in her row. What a surprise to find it is Kingston, the older brother of her best friend, Anita. He slides over and shares his popcorn with her.

Olivia’s parents are academics and were often out of town doing research and eventually moved away. As a result, Olivia was partly raised by her Aunt Bea. Aunt Bea has a close circle of friends, who call themselves the Bosom Buddies, BBs for short. At a regular meeting of the BBs, it has been decided Olivia is in a rut and needs a man in her life. Her close friends are now all married and some even expecting their first child. The BBs feel it’s their duty to go into full matchmaking mode with their sights set on Kingston as the perfect man for Olivia. They even recruit Kingston’s mother to get involved in their matchmaking schemes. This causes Olivia and Kingston to come up with the idea of “fake” dating to throw them off and to hopefully leave them alone. Fake dating, along with dance lessons at the new dance studio in town creates more complications than they could have ever imagined.

This book is full of shenanigans contrived by the masterminds of the BBs, in fact, one of the BBs has also taken her friendship with Jasper an old friend to another level. Has been awhile since I’ve read such a heartwarming, delightful, laugh-out-loud book. I was disappointed when I came to the end, but hopeful Kathleen has more of these of these stories yet to come.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Two to Tango is fourth and final book in the Maple Falls series that takes place in Arkansas. I believe this last book is my favorite in the series. The chemistry between Kingston and Olivia was there was the beginning but because of Kingston overtaxed schedule as a pediatrician he messed things up with her by ghosting her two different times. After the first time he ghosted her she decided to give him a second chance but he blew that chance. Fast forward a year later the older ladies and his overbearing mother could see the "chemistry" there and schemed to get them together but Olvia is twice bitten so it is not going to be easy for her to forgive him. This book had me laughing with the antics of the older ladies. If a book can manage to bring a smile to my face that's an added bonus to me. Also, there is an additonal romance in the book of two of the older characters in ths book. I really thororoughly enjoyed this book and hope the author writes more contemporary romance books.

I was captivated by the characters in Two to Tango because they are so endearing. I was hooked from the prologue, and my interest remained piqued till the end.
Olivia and Kingston have a real attraction to one another, but they have barriers to get past. An elderly group of women who call themselves the BBs try to help them by playing matchmakers. They use several antics, one of which is getting them to take dance lessons. The BBs are lovable and quirky, and at times they are troublemakers!
The secondary romance with one of the BBs is a delightful bonus to this story.
I love the personalities in this book! I had read the first three books in this series before reading Two to Tango. I think reading this book before the other 3 would be okay, but I'm glad I'd read the other three first because I already knew the other characters and their back stories.
I highly recommend this book and the whole series!

Two to Tango is Kathleen Fuller's latest story set in Maple Springs. I adored this book. It is about Olivia, one of the CC's: four best friends who meet weekly and share life with each other. The previous books have followed the romances of each of them and now we have Olivia and Kingston's story. Olivia is a planner. Full throttle, plan away every part of her life. Kingston is a busy doctor who can't seem to keep up with everything on his plate. When they run into each other at a movie one night, sparks fly. But Kingston doesn't follow up and spend time with her like he promised. Fast forward a couple of years, and he is forced onto a sabbatical at work because he is not doing his job like he should. He and Olivia find themselves in each other's company again, increasingly more so as the BB's decide to play matchmaker. With a lot of tender moments and several laugh out loud ones as well, you will be rooting for the two of them as they find their way to a happily ever after.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Olivia Farnsworth has a plan and she has no space for spontaneity. She tells herself that she’s happy with her routine but the question is; is she really happy and content when her group of friends, Riley, Anita, and Harper have gotten married and are slowly starting their own families.

I have been waiting for Kingston’s story from the beginning of this series. And finally, I got it! To be honest, it never occurred to me that Olivia needed her own story, but it became very clear that she was a sweet, smart woman who needed someone like Kingston and he needed someone like her in hers. A Two to Tango was my absolute favorite in this series, I read this in one sitting!

My gratitude Netgalley and Thomas Nelson. All opinions expressed are mine.

This is a cute book and a great addition to the Maple Falls Romance series. Olivia is perfectly fine living her own life until she gets swept off her feet. Only problem is, she was only swept off her feet for a night and then he is too busy to call her. Kingston, a pediatrician, is burning the candle at both ends and gets unexpectedly put on a forced sabbatical. He has two months to figure out his priorities (and how to say no, especially to his mother). I don't want to ruin the story, but there are quite a bit of matchmaking hijinks involved and sweet moments for many of the other characters in Maple Falls. Highly recommend for lovers of romance.

"She couldn't imagine him being anything but the perfect gentleman. Although she'd just discovered firsthand that he was a little wicked around the edges."

What another cute and fun read by one of my very favorite authors!
I simply love loved this book!!
The BB's have really made this series a lot of fun, and I enjoyed getting to know them. I'd love to have them as my BFF's!
When you first meet these ladies, it's as if you'd known them your whole life!
Fuller knows just how to work her magic to the fullest, lol! Her heart is at the very core of this series or any of her other books.
I tried to take my time with and savor this book, but well..... I couldn't help myself it was soooooo good! I finished this in a day!
Sometimes, it just has to be the right time. I love to say only on God's timing, not ours, because sometimes you just have to take a step back for a little while to mature, and then maybe?????
You'll just have to read this book to find out if they make it or not!
Let's just say that lots of emotions fly really fast throughout this book.
I really applauded Aunt Bea for being a great character. I have an aunt like her. She's my favorite person in the whole world.
Olivia Farnsworth is a really lucky gal, in my opinion.
Everything in this story was my favorite. It was hard to pinpoint just one thing.
I guess it would have to be the romance. Not too mushy but just enough. Fuller did a nice job with it.
5 stars for a delightful read and a faith filled journey.

This is book #4 in this series by Kathleen Fuller. This book centers around Olivia and Kingston. Olivia is a librarian and Kingston is a pediatrician. Both are very dedicated to their jobs and workaholics. Even though they are childhood friends and Kingston's sister is Olivia's best friends, they have never been more than friends. Until a chance meeting at a movie theater changes all of that. However, Kingston's dedication to being a doctor and all of the other places he volunteers and works at, leaves little time for a relationship. Friends fix them up to dance together at the new dance studio. There are ups and downs there. Read this book to see what happens and the outcome. Will Olivia and Kingston end up together or will their careers continue to take priority in their lives?

I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.

I was delighted for another opportunity to visit the town of Maple Falls via this sweet second chance and fake dating romance. This time the spotlight was on Olivia, a risk averse librarian with a strong need for routine and predictability, and Olivia’s best friend’s older brother, Kingston, a pediatrician who was an overworked people pleaser that avoided conflict by never saying “no.” As usual the Bosom Buddies, aka the BBs, decided to do a little matchmaking and it led to some funny and not-so-funny moments in the story. The two main characters both made some positive changes that helped their personal growth and brought them together in a satisfying happily ever after. This book could be read as a standalone but I think readers would enjoy it much more if they read the earlier books in the series first. I really enjoyed it and am happy to recommend it. Rating 4.5. I received a complimentary copy from the publisher via NetGalley and this voluntary review contains my honest opinions.

Fall vibes, Hallmark movie feels! Two to Tango, the perfect relaxing read. Follow Olivia, the bookish heroine who loves vintage movies, and Kingston, the "known him all my life" male lead, as they find love and shake things up! Pass the 🍿 and enjoy this sweet Maple Falls Romance series finale. Small town charm, slow burn, and a happily ever after guaranteed!

I have been waiting for these two characters to get their story. I enjoyed the setting, the antics of the older ones in town working to get our young couple together. I loved the added lesson of learning to balance life and knowing what’s most important for a full happy life.

Thanks @tnzfiction & @kf_booksandhooks for the ARC. My thoughts are my own.

A sweet and funny finale to a series I have really enjoyed. I was excited for this one and it did not disappoint. It’s a cute story and a light and easy read. I loved the secondary story-that brought a really nice element to the book and the epilogue wrapped up both storylines nicely. Great series!

The fourth book in the Maple Falls series by Kathleen Fuller is a warm and cozy romantic story depicting the story of Olivia, a rigid woman who is a stickler for routine and Kingston, a little too amenable busy doctor, who doesn't know how to say no.

Though Olivia is his sister's best friend, neither Kingston nor Olivia had ever thought of each other in a romantic light for the longest time. Things suddenly change for them one fine day when both find themselves being attracted to each other and seriously contemplating a relationship. But their own lives and restrictive natures put a stop to Kingston's efforts twice, leaving Olivia with an extremely negative view about Kingston.

What follows is a play of push and pull between Olivia and Kingston, as they try to resolve their feelings for each other and move on with their life one way or the other. Will these two lovely, sweet people overcome their own insecurities and habits to take a risk towards love and contentment. That is the crux of the story.

The story starts off in a moderate pace and stays there throughout the length of the book. But the lead pair lacked real spark and the way they stayed firmly in their errant ways even after a particular point becomes tedious after a point. The author also brings in small instances of relationships between other people in the town as well, and amongst them, one old pair were my absolute favorite. In fact, I found myself smiling at that pair's antics more than I did the main pair.

To sum it up, though the story falls short of excellence, it still is a very good story, told in a sweet way, which brings its characters alive in its pages. I would recommend this book for a light, breezy read, particularly for those looking for a good time-pass during the holidays.

Two to Tango by Kathleen Fuller is book four in the Maple Falls series.

This was a delightful romance between a quiet librarian and her best friend’s brother. I loved the opposites between them, and how each grew personally through the story. All the way to the very end.

I also loved the emotion in this story. The charged arguments added a wonderful spark. If you’re looking for a feel-good romance, then give this one a read!

I've thoroughly enjoyed the Maple Falls series, and Two to Tango was the perfect ending.

Olivia likes her routine, her job, and her people. And after two attempts at dating Kingston, her best friend's paediatrician brother, she's thrown in the towel on dating. Or at least dating him. But like most small towns, Maple Falls is full of meddlesome matchmakers--and they're scheming up a way to get Olivia and Kingston together. There will be dancing, there will be sparks, and of course, there will be plenty of drama; mostly from the Bosom Buddies.

Small town romances will always hold a special place in my heart. As an introvert who enjoys routine, I found Olivia's character relatable and likeable. Kingston was a bit of a struggle at the beginning, but as a people pleaser, I could relate to his need to do everything for everyone except himself. The chemistry between the two of them was obvious; how did nobody see it coming sooner? And as always, the Bosom Buddies' antics kept me laughing throughout the story. This was such a delightful read with plenty of romance and a good dose of humour.

Read this if you enjoy:
⭐️Small town setting
⭐️Close friend groups
⭐️Sizzling chemistry
⭐️Best friend's brother/forbidden romance

You've got to love the nosiness of small town-ness and thinking that everyone's business is your business. Well that's just what happened to olivia and Kingston as they keep getting matched up. This was a super sweet book and was well done.
