Thank you to NetGalley for this free e copy of Mimi :A Small Giraffe with a Big Secret.I shared this wonderful story of acceptance of others with my grandson and preschool class.Mimi is a small giraffe who because of her stature doesn’t fit in in the zoo so she leave to join the circus.There all her new friends accept her for who she is and encourage her to follow her dreams to become a fashion model.When she wins first place , her friends are so happy for her.I loved this book because it teaches kids that it is ok to be different and we all should be accepted for who we are..Great teaching book.

This is a cute children’s book about acceptance and keeping your head high. Mimi is a giraffe with big dreams but she seems to be the smallest animal in the zoo and kept getting laughed at. Soon after Mimi found the circus that had many different animals doing many different things and she ended up finding a place she fit in well.
